SBTD July Blog Hop Embossing Folders

It's time to hop along with the Stampers By The Dozen (aka STBTD) July Blog Hop as we showcase the amazing embossing folders that Stampin' Up! has to offer. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as the share ideas and projects to help inspire you.
My card design today features some Sneak Peek products from the New August-December 2020 Mini Catalog that launches August 4th. To escape the hot Summer weather outside, I had fun creating this beautiful snowflake themed Christmas card with products from the Snowflake Splendor Suite. The Winter Snow Embossing Folder adds a delicate embossed snowflake pattern to the background of this design that sets the theme for this card.
To create this card, I chose to use Misty Moonlight cardstock for the card base and added a layer of Seaside Spray cardstock that I embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder (item #153577) to add soft texture to the background. To create the sentiment label, I die cut a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock using a die from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (item #149638). I heat embossed the sentiment from the new Snowflake Wishes stamp set (item #153444) with White Embossing Powder and embellished the label with three of the beautifully detailed snowflakes die cut using the coordinating So Many Snowflakes Dies (item #153560) from Whisper White cardstock.  For a touch of bling, I added Basic Rhinestones to the centers of each of the die cut snowflakes.
This clean and simple card design is easy to create and assemble. I added a piece of the Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon (item #144213) across the center of the card front and added the sentiment label over the top using Stampin' Dimensionals so that the snowflakes added depth and dimension to the design. I love that the Snowflake Wishes Bundle (item #155172) and the Winter Snow Embossing Folder provide me with everything I need to create pretty Christmas and Winter themed cards.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will get you excited about the new August-December 2020 Mini Catalog that will launch August 4th. There are so many wonderful new products to help you get started with Holiday projects.

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop July 2020

Today we are hopping with Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop as we showcase current products from Stampin' Up! You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
Today's card design is a pretty Summer birthday card featuring one stamp set and one die set using some old favorites. I chose the Beautiful Friendship stamp set (item #149252) and paired it with the Stitched Rectangles Dies (item #151820) to create this clean and simple birthday card.
For this card design, I wanted the stamped images to be the star, so I chose to use Thick Whisper White cardstock for the card base and I created the background layer using the Stitched Rectangles Dies to create the frame for the design. The sentiment layer in the center of the card was also die cut from Thick Whisper White cardstock using one of the smaller stitched rectangle dies.
My color combination for this card was Magenta Madness for the roses, Highland Heather for the detailed floral, Granny Apple Green for the leaves and Mango Melody for the centers of the roses. I really like how these colors combined to create this pretty design. I stamped each of the images using these Classic ink pads, onto the Whisper White frame. I attached the frame to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up.
To create the sentiment, I heat embossed the sentiment image onto the Whisper White stitched rectangle die cut with Gold Embossing Powder. I added it to the center of the frame with Stampin' Dimensionals so that it was raised to the same level as the frame. To embellish the card, I added a simple bow created with Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and added it to the top left corner of the frame with a Mini Glue Dot. I used two of the medium Gilded Gems to embellish the sentiment label for a touch of bling. This bright and cheerful birthday card is simple to create with just a few supplies and you can choose your own color combination to personalize it for the person who is receiving it.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design inspires you to create your own beautiful projects. There are so many wonderful products in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog to help spark your creativity.

2020 Kre8tors July Blog Hop Color Challenge

Welcome to the 2020 Kre8tors July Blog Hop and this month we have a wonderful color challenge to share with you. Our theme this month is Tropical Nights and the colors for this challenge are Basic Black, Basic Gray, Rococo Rose, Night of Navy and So Saffron. We have been challenged to use at least one of these colors to create our project. I am so excited to see what this talented group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators creates this month.
For my card, I chose to use all the colors to create this clean and simple design. This card features the Painted Poppies Bundle (item #153827) for the main design and I used the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set (item #148580).
To create this card design, I started with a Basic Gray cardstock card base and added a layer of Whisper White cardstock for the focal layer. I stamped the poppies from the Painted Poppies stamp set, towards the center of the cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them using So Saffron and Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends Markers.
I wanted to create a soft water color look for the background, so I used the Night of Navy Watercolor pencil from the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2 (item #149014) to lightly color around the poppies to create a soft background. I then used a Blender Pen and smoothed out the pencil marks to create a subtle background.
To create the border, I attached a 1" x 5 1/4" strip of Basic Gray Designer Series Paper from the Neutrals 6"x6" Designer Series Paper pack (item #152485) to the left side of the Whisper White cardstock layer. I added a piece of Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon (item #144213) along the side of the designer series paper strip. I attached the card front to the card base with adhesive.
To complete the card design, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set onto Basic Black cardstock with White Embossing Powder. I die cut the sentiment using one of the labels from the Painted Labels Dies and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. For a touch of bling, I added two small Basic Rhinestones to finish off the card design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to explore using these wonderful colors in your creative projects. There are so many great options with Stampin' Up!'s amazing coordinating products to spark your creativity.

Colour Combo July Blog Hop

It's time to explore new color combinations with the Colour Combo July Blog Hop. This month we have been challenged to create a project using Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight and Sahara Sand. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you.
My card design today features the Jar of Flowers stamp set (item #152515) combined with the Country Home stamp set (item #147678). I love that the flowers fit on top of the milk can image to create a more country feel for this card design.
For the card base, I chose to use Sahara Sand cardstock and I added a layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock that I embossed with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder (item #153200) to add texture to the background. I die cut a label from Whisper White cardstock using one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (item #149638) to create the focal image.
I stamped the milk can image from the Country Home stamp set onto the bottom of the label using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with the Sahara Sand Stampin' Write Marker. I stamped the flower image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and colored it with Misty Moonlight and Highland Heather Stampin' Blends Markers and the Sahara Sand Stampin' Write Marker. I fussy cut around the image and added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back.
To assemble the card, I attached the Whisper White label to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a piece of Misty Moonlight 1/4" Ribbon (item #153624) to the top of the milk can with a Mini Glue Dot. Next, I attached the flowers so that they overlap the top of the milk can and ribbon, For then sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the Country Home stamp set with White Embossing Powder onto a scrap of Highland Heather cardstock and die cut it with the small die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690). I attached the sentiment so that it overlaps the bottom of the Whisper White label. I used a Mini Stampin' Dimensional on the back of the right side of the sentiment so that it attaches to the card front and the left side adheres to the label with adhesive.  I added a small Basic Rhinestone to the sentiment for a touch of bling.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to try this wonderful color combination and create your own beautiful projects. There are so many wonderful options in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog to help spark your creativity.

The Joy of Sets July Blog Hop Christmas in July

Welcome to The Joy Of Sets Christmas In July Blog Hop. We are sharing fun, creative ideas to help inspire you and encourage you to get an early start on your holiday projects.
I love that some of my favorite stamp sets from last year's Holiday Catalog have returned and found a home in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I chose to use the Toile Christmas stamp set (item #150469) and the coordinating Christmas Cardinal Dies (item #150640) to create my card design today. The colors I chose are Just Jade and Poppy Parade from the coordinating Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper. 152486).
To create the frame for the cardinal, I used the Stitched Shapes Dies and coordinating Layering Ovals Dies to die cut an Oval from Just Jade cardstock and a slightly larger Oval from Silver Foil. I also die cut two Silver Foil swirls with dies from the Christmas Cardinal Dies. The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. I die cut it with the coordinating die from the Christmas Cardinal Dies. For the cardinal, I stamped the image onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the image with Poppy Parade and So Saffron Stampin' Blends Combo Pack as well as Dark Daffodil Delight and Light Just Jade Stampin' Blends Markers. I added Clear Wink of Stella for a touch of shimmer. I used the coordinating die from the Christmas Cardinal Dies to die cut the image. For a touch of bling, I added Basic Rhinestones to the bottom right corner to finish off the design. I love how the cardinal works with this beautiful paper and it is wonderful that this pack of designer series paper has designs for all seasons.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to find your Christmas spirit and create your own beautiful projects for the holidays. You will find that there are wonderful products in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog to help you.

New At SU July Blog Hop 2020-2022 In Colors

It's time to hop along with the New At SU July Blog Hop and this month we are showcasing the amazing new 2020-2022 In Colors from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share ideas and projects to help inspire you. I am excited to see what everyone has to share this month with these beautiful new colors.
Today's card features three of the new 2020-2022 In Colors - Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee and Just Jade. I wanted to create a masculine birthday card and I loved how these three colors looked together. I chose the Pattern Play Bundle (item #154087) from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and combined it with various In Color products to create this clean and simple card design.
To create this card, I started with a Thick Whisper White cardstock card base and I added a 5"x3 3/4" layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock. I added a 4 3/4" x3 1/2" layer of Whisper White cardstock to create the background and used stamped two of the images from the Pattern Play stamp set using Bumblebee and Just Jade Classic ink pads.
The main sentiment was created by die cutting the letters from Just Jade cardstock using the Playful Alphabet Dies (item #152706) and I attached them to a 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" Misty Moonlight piece of cardstock. For the smaller sentiment, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set (item #148618) with White Embossing Powder onto a 3/4" strip of Just Jade cardstock. I used the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch (item #152883) to create the label.
To assemble the card, I added a piece of Bumblebee 1/4" Ribbon (item #153622) across the center of the stamped background panel and then attached it to the Misty Moonlight cardstock layer. I attached this to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. For the Just Jade sentiment label, I attached it to the bottom of the Misty Moonlight sentiment piece with Stampin' Dimensionals and added two Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling. This card was simple to create and I love how the products coordinate to make it simple to create with these beautiful colors.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design inspires you to explore these beautiful new In Colors and create your own wonderful projects.
