Stamping With Friends Retiring 2020-2022 In Colors Blog Hop

It's time to say goodbye to the 2020-2022 In Colors with the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. Our wonderful Design Team members will be showcasing their favorite retiring In Colors as they share their wonderful projects to help inspire you. These beautiful colors are available only while supplies last or until May 2nd, so make sure you stock up on your favorites before they disappear. 

My favorite 2020-2022 In Color is Misty Moonlight so I just had to create my card design with this beautiful blue. I wanted to create a masculine birthday card, so I chose to use the Handsomely Suited stamp set with the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper. The designs in this paper pack are perfect for masculine cards.

Misty Moonlight Cotton Ribbon

2 pieces approx. 5" long

The focal point of this card is the beautiful designer series paper. I love the monochromatic design with the nature theme and the Misty Moonlight cardstock card base creates a wonderful frame for this design. I cut two pieces of the Misty Moonlight Cotton Ribbon at approx. 5" each and attached them to the card front approx. 1/4" apart. Using Silver embossing powder, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Handsomely Suited stamp set onto the sentiment label I die cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies. I attached the sentiment label over the two pieces of ribbon using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card design, I added four of the small Misty Moonlight Square Gems to the corners of the sentiment label.

We Create September Blog Hop Don't Stamp So Close To Me

Welcome to the We Create September Blog Hop Don't Stamp So Close To Me, as we are challenged to create projects with no stamping. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share tips and ideas to help inspire you to create your own wonderful projects. 

When I think of "no stamping" for creating cards, I think of the wonderful Memories & More products that Stampin' Up! has to offer. These card packs contact beautiful designs and sentiments that make it simple to create wonderful card designs without having to stamp. For my card design today, I chose to use one of the 3"x 4" cards from the Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Card Pack (item #153058) found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, combined with the coordinating colors from the 2020-2022 In Colors to create this bright and cheerful design. I love how Magenta Madness and Bumblebee look together and the touch of Whisper White makes these colors pop.

Bumblebee cardstock layer - 5 1/4" x 4" 
(Embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder)
Magenta Madness cardstock layer 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"

To create this card design, I used one of the small Stitched Rectangle Dies to die cut the sentiment from the Memories & More card. I attached the Memories & More card to the Magenta Madness 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of cardstock with adhesive and used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the die cut sentiment in the opening. The background layer of Bumblebee cardstock has been embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the design. The Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was attached around the center of the Bumblebee background layer and the focal layer was attached on top with Stampin' Dimensionals. To embellish the design, I added a bow tied with the ribbon with a Mini Glue Dot to the left side of the card and Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling. This clean and simple card design is a wonderful way to brighten someone's day.

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Team Blog Hop August 2020

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop for August. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share wonderful project ideas to help inspire you. 

My card design today is a clean and simple card design that is easy to create with the Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Card Pack (item #153058) and the coordinating Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (item #153101). I love that these products coordinate with the new 2020-2022 In Colors and make it simple to embellish to create your own unique card design. 

To create this card design, I chose the Cinnamon Cider card base from the Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Cards & Envelopes and added one of the beautiful cards from the Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Card Pack for the focal design of this card. I love that this card pack has designs for all seasons and this pretty Winter themed design works well for a variety of occasions. I used one of the circle dies from the Layering Circles Dies to die cut the center sentiment from the center of the Memories & More card. I wanted to be able to pop up the sentiment so that it stood out more.

Using the Just Jade Gingham Ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (item #153620), I added a piece across the center of the card front and attached the ends on the back with adhesive. I then added the die cut sentiment to the center of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it over the ribbon. I also tied a bow with the ribbon and attached it to the bottom of the sentiment circle using Mini Glue Dots. 

For a touch of bling, I colored some of the small Basic Pearls with the Dark Just Jade Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the card front for a touch of bling. I love how easy this card was to assemble and pretty it looks with just a few simple changes to the original card design. These wonderful coordinating products from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog make it so simple to create fun cards without the stress.

Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights August 2020

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights for August. Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world are sharing their amazing projects and ideas to help inspire you with your own creations. We hope you enjoy the projects we have to share with you this month. 

 Today I created this fun card design inspired by fellow Demonstrator, Jan Farring. I loved her idea for cutting the designer series paper layer into triangles and then flipping the left and right side triangles to create a quilt style pattern. For my card design, I used of the designs from the beautiful Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152486) and paired it with several of the new 2020-2022 In Color products, which can all be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.

 To create this card design, I started with a Just Jade cardstock card base and added a 5 1/4" x 4" Whisper White cardstock layer for the base of the background. I cut a piece of 5" x 3 3/4" designer series paper diagonally from the top left corner to the bottom right corner and the rotated it to cut it diagonally the other direction, creating 4 triangles. Leaving the larger two triangles with the floral pattern, I flipped the two side triangles so that the Just Jade pattern was facing up to provide contrast. I then adhered the triangles to the Whisper White cardstock layer, leaving a gap between the triangles that creates a white border to the design. 

For the sentiment, I punched out a label from Misty Moonlight cardstock, using the Everyday Label Punch (item #144668) and then punched out a label from Whisper White cardstock using the Label Me Fancy Punch (item #151297). I heat embossed the sentiment from the Special Someone stamp set (item #151643) using Silver Embossing Powder and adhered the label to the Misty Moonlight label. I colored two of the medium Basic Pearls with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the sentiment label for a pop of color. To complete the design, I cut two pieces of Magenta Madness 1/4" Ribbon (item #153623) approx 4 1/4" long and cut the ends diagonally. I attached them to the center of the card front and added the sentiment label over the top with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added the card front to the Just Jade card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. This clean and simple design is a wonderful way to use your designer series paper to create beautiful cards for all occasions.

New At SU July Blog Hop 2020-2022 In Colors

It's time to hop along with the New At SU July Blog Hop and this month we are showcasing the amazing new 2020-2022 In Colors from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share ideas and projects to help inspire you. I am excited to see what everyone has to share this month with these beautiful new colors.

 Today's card features three of the new 2020-2022 In Colors - Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee and Just Jade. I wanted to create a masculine birthday card and I loved how these three colors looked together. I chose the Pattern Play Bundle (item #154087) from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and combined it with various In Color products to create this clean and simple card design. 

 To create this card, I started with a Thick Whisper White cardstock card base and I added a 5"x3 3/4" layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock. I added a 4 3/4" x3 1/2" layer of Whisper White cardstock to create the background and used stamped two of the images from the Pattern Play stamp set using Bumblebee and Just Jade Classic ink pads. 

The main sentiment was created by die cutting the letters from Just Jade cardstock using the Playful Alphabet Dies (item #152706) and I attached them to a 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" Misty Moonlight piece of cardstock. For the smaller sentiment, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set (item #148618) with White Embossing Powder onto a 3/4" strip of Just Jade cardstock. I used the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch (item #152883) to create the label. 

To assemble the card, I added a piece of Bumblebee 1/4" Ribbon (item #153622) across the center of the stamped background panel and then attached it to the Misty Moonlight cardstock layer. I attached this to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. For the Just Jade sentiment label, I attached it to the bottom of the Misty Moonlight sentiment piece with Stampin' Dimensionals and added two Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling. This card was simple to create and I love how the products coordinate to make it simple to create with these beautiful colors.
