Paper Pumpkin Possibilities September Blog Hop Haunts & Harvest

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities September Blog Hop as we showcase alternative project ideas featuring the Haunts & Harvest Kit. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you to create your own wonderful projects for Fall and Halloween.
This month's kit is so fun and perfect for sharing Fall and Halloween treats with the people in your life. Need a gift for a teacher? Why not the cute apple. Halloween treats for your kids? The jack-o-lanterns are perfect. Place setting decorations for Thanksgiving? The pumpkins are a wonderful addition to give thanks for family and friends. When I look at this kit, it is perfect for so many occasions and I struggled to come up with an alternative that used any of the supplies to create the treat holders. So instead, I decided to create a card design using the exclusive stamp set in the kit and combined it with the coordinating colors listed in the directions. At this time of year, we can all use clean and simple cards to show the people we love how much we care.
For my alternative card design, I used the solid leaf images with the detailed line images to create a Fall background design. The colors I chose were Pale Papaya, Poppy Parade, Soft Succulent, Pumpkin Pie and I added Early Espresso for the line detail and sentiment. I love the way these beautiful colors pop against the Basic White cardstock background. This Fall card design could be used for a variety of occasions and the sentiments from the exclusive stamp set in the kit are perfect for this design.

The wonderful Fall colors bring this card design to life. I love the way these colors work together to create this beautiful Thank You card. The stamp images are wonderful and I stamped the solid images first and then stamped the lined image on top with Early Espresso Classic ink to complete the design. I chose Early Espresso instead of Black because I thought it worked better with these pretty Fall colors and was less harsh. I also used the Early Espresso Classic ink to stamp the sentiment onto the sentiment tag that I die cut with one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies. I tied a bow of White Baker's Twine around a piece of Pale Papaya Ribbon that I threaded through the hole of the sentiment tag. I added the tag to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. For a touch of bling, I add several Champagne Rhinestones to coordinate with the Fall colors.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to think outside the box and create your own wonderful projects for Fall and Halloween. This wonderful clean and simple card design works well for a variety of occasions for Fall.

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Share It Sunday Blog Hop as we share the fun projects we have been working on in our craft rooms. With the Sale-a-bration coming to an end, I wanted to take the time to create with these wonderful products before they disappear September 30th.
Today I am sharing a card created with the Summer Shadows Dies and the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper. These wonderful Sale-a-bration products can be earned free with a qualifying order. I love the way the bright colors pop against the Black and White striped designer series paper. This was a fun card to design and I loved that I had the chance to play with the different die cuts from the Summer Shadows Dies. The bright colors pop against the black and white striped background and I added a layer of Polished Pink cardstock to frame the designer series paper to help it pop against the Basic Black cardstock. I used Basic Rhinestone Jewels to add some bling to the flowers and the background.

Ink. Stamp. Share. September Monthly Blog Hop Color Inspiration

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. September Monthly Blog Hop and this month we have a fun Color Challenge. We have been challenged to create a project using at least three of the following colors: Soft Succulent, Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink, Polished Pink and Rich Razzleberry. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their projects and ideas using these wonderful colors to help inspire you.
I love participating in Color Challenges as it helps me to explore new possibilities and helps me step outside my comfort zone. The colors in this month's Color Challenge are so beautiful and I love how well they work together. I decided to create my card design with all five of these beautiful colors.
For my card design, I chose to use the wonderful Gorgeous Leaves stamp set from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I paired it with the sentiment from the In Your Words stamp set, which is the Sale-a-bration Host Reward you can earn free with a qualifying party/order and is available only until September 30th. To create my design, I used the soft colors for the background and the darker colors for the focal leaves. I love the non-traditional colors for the leaves and how they pop against the background. The Gorgeous Leaves stamp set is so versatile and works well with so many color combinations.
Products Used:
Gorgeous Leaves stamp set (item #153365)
In Your Words stamp set (item #156619)
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Soft Succulent Cardstock (item #155776)
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock (item #146988)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink Pad (item #147091)
Polished Pink Classic Ink Pad (item #155712)
Soft Succulent Classic Ink Pad (item #155778)
Petal Pink Classic Ink Pad (item #147108)
Soft Sea Foam Classic Ink Pad (item #147102)
Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon (item #155780)
Polished Pink 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon (item #155714)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Soft Succulent Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Card Front - 5" x 3 3/4"
One of my favorite things about the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set is the wonderful variety of images it has and how well they work together to create collage designs. I chose to use the large dot background image with Petal Pink Classic ink along with the smaller dot background image with Soft Sea Foam Classic ink to create a muted background for my design. Using the three large leaf images, I stamped them with the remaining colors to create a beautiful design. For the sentiment label, I die cut the label from Soft Sea Foam cardstock with one of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and stamped the sentiment from the In Your Words stamp set with the Rich Razzleberry Classic ink. I attached a piece of the Soft Succulent and Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbons across the front of the card front and attached the sentiment over the top with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then attached the card front to the Soft Sea Foam cardstock layer and then attached it to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card design, I added Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the sentiment label and the card front for a touch of bling. I love how soft and pretty this card design is and how the ribbons add a pop of color to step up the card design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore creating your own wonderful projects with these beautiful colors. There are so many possibilities to explore with Stampin' Up!'s coordinating products.

Crafty Challenge September Blog Hop Color Inspiration

Welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop as we explore this month's wonderful color challenge using Bermuda Bay, Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze. With today being the first day of Fall, I think these colors are perfect for creating a Fall themed card design.
For my card design today, I decided to pair the Textures & Frames stamp set with the In Your Words stamp set to create a warm Fall themed card design. Both of these stamp sets are exclusive during Sale-a-bration and can be earned as a free reward. I love the abstract designs in the Textures & Frames stamp set and chose several of the images to create the designs for this card. I also added Copper, Gold and Silver to help step up the design.
Products Used:
Textures & Frames stamp set (item #156616) Sale-a-bration Reward with a qualifying $50 Order
In Your Words stamp set (item #156619) Sale-a-bration Host Reward
Intricate Leaves Dies (item #153566)
Tailor Made Tags Dies (item #155563)
Bermuda Bay Cardstock (item #131197)
Cajun Craze Cardstock (item #119684)
Merry Merlot Cardstock (item #146979)
Basic White Cardstock (item # 159276)
Copper Foil Sheets (item #142020)
Bermuda Bay Classic Ink Pad (item #147096)
Cajun Craze Classic Ink Pad (item #147085)
Merry Merlot Classic Ink Pad (item #147112)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Linen Thread (item #1044199)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Merry Merlot Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Cajun Craze Cardstock
Layer 1 -  5 1/4" x 4"
Bermuda Bay Cardstock
Layer 2 - 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Basic White Cardstock
Focal Layer - 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Sentiment Label die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Dies
Copper Foil Sheets
Detailed large leaf die cut with the Intricate Leaves Dies
This card design was so much fun to create and I love the way these colors work together. I love how the metallic embossing powders helped step up the background design for the focal layer and the Copper detailed leaf adds a wonderful finishing touch to the card design. The Textures & Frames stamp set has so many amazing images that are perfect for creating fun background designs. I used the splotch image to create a tone on tone look for the Cajun Craze cardstock layer. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the Bermuda Bay cardstock layer and the sentiment label to add dimension to the design. The Linen Thread bow is the only embellishment that I added to the design as I felt that the embossing and the Copper foil added enough bling without overwhelming the card.
This wonderful Fall themed card design would work well for a variety of occasions and would make a great masculine card design. I had so much fun creating with this beautiful color combination and can't wait to try creating more card designs with them. There are so many wonderful possibilities to explore.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help encourage you to explore creating your own wonderful projects with this color combination. There are so many amazing products in the Stampin' Up! catalogs to help you create your own unique designs.
