Ink. Stamp. Share. Monthly December Blog Hop New Catalogs

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp Share. December Monthly Blog Hop as we celebrate the New Year and the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects to help you get excited for the New Year.
Today I have created a card using products from the new Dandy Garden Suite from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. I love the way these products coordinate and for this card I chose to use the Dragonfly Garden Bundle with the Dandy Garden 6"x6" Designer Series Paper to create this beautiful design. This layout is not something I would have normally tried, but during our recent OnStage @ Home event, we had the opportunity to create several cards with this suite and this was one of the layouts presented. I made a few small changes to the original to make it my own and I love how it turned out.
Products Used:
Dragonfly Garden Bundle (item #156224) Coming Soon in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog
Dandy Garden 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #154297) Coming Soon in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock (item #133675)
Smoky Slate Cardstock (item #131202)
Whisper White Cardstock (item #100730)
Mossy Meadow Classic Ink Pad (item #147111)
Mossy Meadow 3/16" Braided Linen Trim (item #154298) Coming Soon in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog
Measurements:
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
(Scored at 4 1/4")
Smoky Slate Cardstock Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Dandy Garden 6"x6" Designer Series Paper - 3 Squares 2"x2" (3 different patterns)
Whisper White - For punching out 3 small Dragonflies with the Dragonflies Punch
This clean and simple card design is easy to assemble and has just a few basic steps to follow. I stamped the images from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set onto the Smoky Slate cardstock with Mossy Meadow Classic ink. The next step is to layer the 3 designer series paper squares and attach them to the Smoky Slate cardstock layer with adhesive, overlapping the tall daisy stamped image. Using the Dragonflies Punch, I punched out 3 of the small dragonflies from Whisper White cardstock and attached them to the designer series paper squares using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. To complete the card design, I tied a piece of the Mossy Meadow Braided Trim around the center of the Smoky Slate cardstock layer and added a bow that I tied from the same trim and added with a Mini Glue Dot. To finish the card I attached the card front to the card base with adhesive. I love the color and texture that the designer series paper adds to the card design and the small dragonflies are the perfect embellishment. With the variety of designs in this paper pack, you can create a variety of card designs that work for all occasions.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will help spark your creativity and inspire you to create your own projects for 2021. PPP December Blog Hop Beary Comforting

Welcome to the PPP December Blog Hop featuring the Beary Comforting Paper Pumpkin Kit. It is hard to believe this is our last kit for 2020 and I think they have saved the best one for last. It has been a crazy year filled with uncertainty and anxiety, so this kit is perfect for sharing some love with the people we care about to let them know they are not alone.
For my alternative card design I decided to use the amazing stamp set included in this kit. I fell in love with the bear image in this kit and I was so happy to see the bear stamp in the exclusive stamp set. It meant I could create as many bears as I wanted and I knew it would be perfect for creating cute Valentine's Day cards. I decided to combine it with fun new products from the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog and January-June 2021 Mini Catalog so that I could send out "Love Notes" to people to help brighten their day. The beautiful background paper is from the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper from the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog and the sentiment and other stamped images are from one of my favorite new bundles in the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, called Kangaroo & Company. Both of these catalogs will be available beginning January 5th, 2021, so you don't have long to wait.

Flirty Flamingo Cardstock for
- Envelope stamped image die cut with Kangaroo Dies

This fun card started with the cute bear image from the kit, that I stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock and colored with Stampin' Blends Markers. I fussy cut the bear with Paper Snips and used the Stampin' Dimensionals in the kit to attach to the designer series paper card front. The hearts were die cut from Cherry Cobbler and Flirty Flamingo cardstock and embossed with the Painted Textured 3D Embossing Folder and I added the Flirty Flamingo heart with Stampin' Dimensionals to the Cherry Cobbler heart to add dimension to the card design. The small letter and envelope were stamped and die cut using the Kangaroo Dies as well as the cute bundle of hearts image, which I colored with Flirty Flamingo and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Markers. For a touch of bling, I added small Basic Pearls to the top left corner of the card to help balance out the design. I love how the bear pops against the designer series paper background and I used the colors from the paper to coordinate the other elements to tie it all together. It was a fun card to create and I can't wait to send this card and so many more to my friends and family.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design inspires you to create your own love notes to send to the people you care about and connect with them in a positive way. There are so many wonderful ways to combine the supplies in this kit with products in the upcoming new catalogs to create your own unique projects.

2020 Kre8tors December Blog Hop Holiday

I am so excited to be a part of this special Kre8tors Blog Hop for December to finish off 2020 on a creative high note. Our theme is Holidays and I can't wait to see all the amazing projects shared by talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators participating in our blog hop today. I hope that you will be inspired by the ideas and projects we have to share with you.
One of my favorite things about creating cards for the holidays is all the different types of cards that you can create. Over the past few months I have created traditional, elegant, whimsical and even fancy over the top cards. But today I wanted to create a clean and simple card that reflected the peace and beauty of the season. I chose to use the stunning Feels Like Frost 6"x6" Specialty Designer Series Paper (item #150444) as the focal image for my card design and added a simple sentiment from the Curvy Christmas stamp set (item #155364). The scene I chose was a beautiful, snowy Winter forest and I just love the photo realistic look of this pretty paper. It was important to me that the sentiment not overwhelm the scene, so I chose to use the Layering Ovals Dies to create the layers to fit in the top right corner.
Products Used:
Feels Like Frost 6" x 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper (Retiring) (item #150444)
Curvy Christmas stamp set (item #155364)
Layering Ovals Dies (item #151771)
Night Of Navy Cardstock (item #100867)
Silver Foil Sheets (item #132178)
Silver Embossing Powder (item #109131)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Stampin' Seal (item #152813)
Measurements:
Night Of Navy Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
(Scored at 4 1/4")
Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Night Of Navy Cardstock
- For the sentiment oval die cut with the Layering Ovals Dies
Silver Foil
- For the scalloped oval layer die cut with the Layering Ovals Dies
The key to this card design is the beautiful contrast between the Night of Navy card base and the designer series paper. I love the way it frames the image and brings it to life. The silver embossing for the sentiment from the Curvy Christmas stamp set coordinates with the Silver Foil scalloped oval layer that adds a touch of elegance and steps up the design. I added three small Basic Rhinestones to the card front for a touch of bling to complete the card design. This card design reminds me of when it snows in the Rocky Mountains not far from where I live and the fun family memories of holidays  past. The Feels Like Frost 6" x 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper is sadly retiring and is available only while supplies last. It is also on sale so make sure you place your order soon to avoid missing out on this beautiful paper.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to create your own special projects for the Holidays. Designer Series Paper is a wonderful way to create beautiful cards for Christmas without the stress. Be sure to check out the wonderful retiring designs from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog and stock up on your favorites before they disappear.
