PPP April Blog Hop My Wonderful Family

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities April Blog Hop as we showcase alternative project ideas using the My Wonderful Family kit. This beautiful kit is perfect for what we are all currently facing and I love the wonderful sentiments that work for so many occasions.
For my alternative card design, I chose to use the images from the exclusive stamp set to create my card. I chose Highland Heather cardstock for the card base and added a layer of Whisper White cardstock as a matte for the Gorgeous Grape cardstock layer. I heat embossed the leaves image with Shimmer White Embossing powder, stamping the image in each corner to create a pretty background design. I also embossed the delicate butterflies image on to the background twice to fill in the blank spaces.
For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the exclusive stamp set, once again using Shimmer White Embossing Powder and added the butterflies image on either side to complete the design. For a touch of bling, I added small Basic Pearls to the design to finish it off.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design shows how easy it is to create beautiful cards with this wonderful kit, even after you have created the projects. There are so many wonderful possibilities.

3D Paper Trimmer April Blog Hop Mother's Day

Welcome to the 3D Paper Trimmer April Blog Hop as we showcase ideas for Mother's Day. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as we share our ideas and projects to help inspire you.
Today I decided to create a beautiful gift bag and coordinating card for Mother's Day. I chose to use the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper (item #149484) and partnered it with the Magnolia Bloom stamp set (item #152729) and Strong & Beautiful stamp set (item #148732). I chose to use two sheets of 12"x12" of the same pattern to create both projects.
The card is a clean and simple design using a 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" strip of the designer series paper that was left over from creating the gift bag. I chose Petal Pink cardstock for the card base and added a layer of Whisper White cardstock that I attached the designer series paper piece to with Snail Adhesive.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set and the flower from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set using Silver Embossing Powder onto the Whisper White cardstock layer. To embellish the card, I added a piece of Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon (item #144213) to the center of the card front with Snail Adhesive to hide the seam of the designer series paper. For a touch of bling, I added three small Basic Rhinestones below the sentiment to complete the card design. I colored the embossed flower with Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends Markers to coordinate with the design in the designer series paper.
To create the gift bag, I followed the directions in the tutorial I found on Splitcoast Stampers by Kelly Acheson here. I love how simple this bag was to create and the coordinating designs on the designer series paper look beautiful for this gift bag. I used two sheets of the same 12" x12" Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper and cut them to 9 3/4" x 9 3/4" as per the tutorial instructions. The handles were cut from the same two sheets and were cut at 3/4" x 12".  I embellished the gift bag by tying a bow with the Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon and adhered it to the middle of the top of the bag with Mini Glue Dots. I added two of the large Clear Faceted Gems (item #144142) to the base of straps for a touch of bling.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my gift bag and coordinating card design inspires you to create your own projects for Mother's Day. You will be amazed at how simple it is to create beautiful projects using designer series paper.

May's Paper Pumpkin Kit Features Sneak Peeks of 4 exciting
New In Colors

Ink. Stamp. Share. April Blog Hop Color Challenge

It's time to hop along with the Ink. Stamp. Share. April Blog Hop with a fun Color Challenge to inspire us all. We have been challenged to use Rococo Rose, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green and So Saffron in our project and I just love the Spring feel of this color combination.
For my card design today, I decided to use one of my old favorite stamp sets, This Little Piggy (item #151227) from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. I am sad to see that it is retiring, so I wanted to show it some love. I combined it with the Daisy Lane Bundle (item #151118) to create this sweet Spring card design.
To create this card, I chose to use Rococo Rose cardstock for the card base and added a layer of So Saffron cardstock that I embossed with the retiring Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog to add some texture to the background. I created the focal panel from Whisper White cardstock and the frame from Rococo Rose cardstock using the Layering Squares Dies (item # 151772). I stamped the image from the This Little Piggy stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the image using Rococo Rose, So Saffron , Granny Apply Green and Highland Heather Stampin' Blends Markers.
I added a piece of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (item #146912) across the center of the So Saffron card front and attached the square focal image to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals, positioning it over the ribbon.
To create the daisy, I stamped the medium size daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set twice onto Whisper White cardstock using Highland Heather Classic ink. I then punched out both images using the Medium Daisy Punch. I colored the daisy images with Clear Wink of Stella to give them a soft shimmer and attached them together using Snail Adhesive, offsetting them to create a fuller looking flower.
Using the Leaf Punch, I punched out some leaves from Granny Apple Green cardstock and attached them to the back of the daisy. I added the daisy to the card front using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, positioning it to cover the top left corner of the focal image. For a touch of bling, I added a Clear Faceted Gem to the center of the Daisy to complete the card design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design inspires you to create your own fun Spring projects with these beautiful colors. The possibilities are endless.
