Stamping Inkspirations December Blog Hop Sounds of the Season

Welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations December Blog Hop as we showcase the Sounds of the Season. Our wonderful Design Team is excited to share with you their projects and ideas to help inspire you for the holidays. With just 10 days until Christmas Eve, there is still time for you to create your own beautiful projects to send to family and friends to celebrate the season.
My inspiration for today's Christmas card comes from the Christmas song, I'll Be Home For Christmas. When I saw the cute owl image and coordinating sentiment in the Christmas Friends Bundle, I just knew that it was the perfect match. I wanted to keep my design nice and simple and I love that the Snowfall Sky 3D Embossing Folder adds wonderful texture to the Basic White card front without being overwhelming. I love using Balmy Blue for Winter themed cards I thought it added just the right touch of frostiness to the background behind the owl image.

To create this cute and festive card design, I started with a Balmy Blue cardstock card base and added a Basic White card front that I embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder to add subtle background texture. For the owl image, I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White cardstock and used the coordinating die to die cut him out and then colored him with Stampin' Blends Markers to bring him to life. I love how the Poppy Parade Santa hat adds just a pop of color to make him festive and cheerful. I applied some soft color to the Basic White circle using a Blending Brush to apply Balmy Blue Classic ink. For the sentiment label, I heat embossed the image with White embossing powder to help make it pop and tie in with the color theme for this card design. For a touch of bling, I added several of the Gold Adhesive Backed Snowflakes and added small Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the center of each of the snowflakes for a touch of elegance. I love the images and coordinating sentiments in the Christmas Friends stamp set and the wonderful coordinating dies make it easy to create fun cards for the holidays. Welcome to the ICS December Blog Hop and this month we are showcasing products from the Last Chance List featuring retiring products from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. Our wonderful Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you to get creative.
One of the first bundles that I ordered from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog was the Christmas Friends Bundle. I just love the adorable animals and cute sentiments in the stamp set and the coordinating dies make creating so much easier. I chose to pair it with one of the designs in the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper, which is also retiring, to create this sweet Christmas card. I only realized after I created my card and took photos, that I goofed with the sentiment, but I think my moose friend will forgive me for my mistake.

Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper

I love creating cute Christmas cards to celebrate the holidays, especially with beautiful designer series paper to add texture and detail to the background. The pattern I chose for this card just happens to be one of my favorites this year and I have used it a few times with the Christmas Friends Bundle to create fun designs. I used Stampin' Blends Markers to bring my sweet moose friend to life and then die cut him out with the coordinating die. I embossed the Pretty Peacock circle using the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder to add some subtle texture to the background. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with White embossing powder to make it pop against the Pretty Peacock sentiment label. For a touch of bling, I added two small Basic Rhinestone Jewels to finish off the design. I love how easy it is to mix and match these products to create beautiful cards.

Global Stamping Friends December Blog Hop Last Minute Lucy

Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends December Blog Hop and this month our theme is appropriately called "Last Minute Lucy". If you are like me, you are woefully behind on everything to do with Christmas and maybe even a little desperate for some fun holiday projects to help save the day. Our Design Team will be sharing their wonderful ideas and projects to help spark your creativity ready for the holiday season.
Clean and simple holiday cards don't need to be boring and I couldn't wait to create this card design using the Sweetest Star Bundle and the Iconic Celebrations 6"x6" Designer Series Paper to show how much fun you can have with a few simple supplies. I love heat embossing and this technique was perfect for creating the cute gingerbread star men as well as the sentiments for the card design. The candy cane designer series paper helps to tie it all together and add a pop of color to the card.
Products Used:
Sweetest Star Bundle (item #164098)
1 3/4" Circle Punch (item #119850)
Iconic Celebrations 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #164193)
Pecan Pie Cardstock (item #161717)
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (item #119685)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Basics Wow Embossing Powders (item #165679)
Blooming Pearls (item #162238)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Pecan Pie Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
2 Gingerbread Stars stamped and punched with the Sweetest Star Bundle
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
Matte Layer - 2 3/4" x 5 1/2"
Sentiment Circle punched out with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch
Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper
Focal Strip - 2 1/2" x 5 1/2"
This fun layout is simple to create and you can use it to create a variety of card designs using these supplies. Just think of the stack of cards you could create to send out to family and friends. I heat embossed the gingerbread men image onto Pecan Pie cardstock using White embossing powder and then punched them out using the coordinating Sweetest Star Punch. For the sentiment, I also heat embossed the image with White embossing powder and punched it out using the 1 3/4" Circle Punch. To help make the designer series paper layer stand out, I layered it onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock to create a matte layer. I also heat embossed the main sentiment along the bottom of the Pecan Pie card base with White embossing powder and then added the designer series paper layer to the card base, centering it above the sentiment. I added the gingerbread stars to the designer series paper layer and then popped up the Cherry Cobbler circle with Stampin' Dimensionals to add some dimension to the design. To complete the card, I added several of the small Pink Pearls from the Blooming Pearls to create the buttons on each of the gingerbread men and two of the large Pink Pearls on either side of the bottom sentiment. Isn't this card so cute and fun? I think it would be perfect for the baker in your life or maybe just right for someone who loves cookies.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help spark your creativity and give you inspiration to create your own beautiful holiday projects. There are so many wonderful options to explore. Make sure to check out the Last Chance Products and take advantage of the savings on retiring products. We are coming to the end of the year and it's time for Week 49 of the Crafty Collaboration's Monochromatic Color Challenge. This week we are showcasing Pool Party and I love this pretty, soft blue for so many reasons. It is such a versatile color and works well for all seasons but especially at this time of the year.
For today's card design, I wanted to create this sweet holiday card featuring the Sweetest Star Bundle from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. I love the non-traditional color combination for this card design and the tone on tone stripe of the designer series paper adds wonderful texture to the card front background. I love using punch bundles to create clean and simple card designs and this bundle has so many wonderful options to help you create your own beautiful Christmas cards.

Pool Party Striped Designer Series Paper

With the combination of images and coordinating sentiments, you have a wonderful range of options to explore to come up with your own stack of cards for the holidays. I chose to use the striped Pool Party Designer Series Paper for the card front background and I used Stampin' Blends Markers to bring Mrs Claus to life and help make her pop. For the sentiment, I stamped the image with Pool Party Classic ink onto Basic White cardstock and punched it out with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. I attached both the Mrs Claus and sentiment label with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop them up. To complete the card design, I added several of the Adhesive Backed Snowflakes to the card front and added a Basic Rhinestone Jewel to the center of each snowflake for extra sparkle. We Create December Blog Hop Holiday Fun

Welcome to the We Create December Blog Hop as we showcase projects and ideas to celebrate Holiday Fun. Can you believe that Christmas is just weeks away? Well, don't panic. There is still time to create your own beautiful cards and projects to share with family and friends without getting stressed out. I hope our ideas will help inspire you to get creative for the holiday season.
Let's face it, creating homemade cards this close to Christmas can seem a little overwhelming but I have a secret weapon that will help you to create your own beautiful cards without all the stress. In the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog, there is a range of Mix & Match products that can help you create clean and simple cards in a fraction of the time and you don't have to stamp a single image. Sounds amazing, right? For my card design, I chose to use one of the Night of Navy card bases from the Gold Dipped Mix & Match Specialty Cards & Envelopes and I used elements from the Joyful Images Mix & Match Specialty Ephemera Pack and a sentiment from the Joyful Sayings Mix & Match Ephemera Pack to build my design. All the elements from each of the packs coordinates perfectly to help take out the guess work and allows you to have fun exploring your creativity. This gives you the opportunity to create a wonderful stack of Christmas cards in a short amount of time while still enjoying some fun creative therapy.
Products Used:
Joyful Images Mix & Match Specialty Ephemera Pack
(item #164110)
Joyful Sayings Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (item #164109)
Gold Dipped Mix & Match Specialty Cards & Envelopes
(item #164108)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Gold Dipped Cards & Envelopes
1 Night of Navy Card Base
Joyful Images Ephemera Pack
Circle Cabin die cut
Pool Party & Gold Striped Banner
2 Holly Bough die cuts
2 Small Star die cuts
1 Large Star die cut
Joyful Sayings Ephemera Pack
Christmas Wishes sentiment die cut
Creating projects with the Mix & Match products is as simple as picking out the elements you want to use and then assembling the design. I love how the Gold accents add a touch of elegance without being over the top. For my design, I chose the cabin circle image as my focal point and then added small accent die cuts to create the look I wanted. For the sentiment, I chose a beautiful Gold embossed image that coordinated perfectly with the design I had created and I added several Gold stars to accent it. Then is was a simple matter of adhering the die cuts to the Night of Navy card base and voila! A simply gorgeous Christmas card ready to send to someone special for the holidays. In addition to Christmas cards, you can use these elements to create custom gift tags or decorate scrapbook pages to record those special memories. There are so many wonderful options in each pack to help you create your own beautiful projects for the holidays.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities November Blog Hop Filled With Joy

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities November Blog Hop and this month we are showcasing alternative project ideas featuring the Filled With Joy Kit. This sweet holiday kit has so many wonderful options to explore and I hope you will enjoy the alternative projects and ideas that our Design Team has to offer to help inspire you.
For my alternative project, I wanted to show how to create a stepped up clean and simple card design using the tag elements and the exclusive stamp set. As you may know, I am a big fan of clean and simple elegant card designs and I thought that I would add a little heat embossing to coordinate with the Gold accents in the ornament and topper die cuts. I kept the stamping to a minimum and added gems and baker's twine to help step up the design. I love the non-traditional color combination that has a modern twist to it.
Products Used:
Paper Pumpkin November 2024 Filled With Joy Kit
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock (item #141416)
Very Vanilla Cardstock (item #101650)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Wow Embossing Powders (item #165678)
Baker's Twine Essentials Pack (item #155475)
Faceted Gems Trio Pack (item #162148)
Measurements:
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Very Vanilla Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Light Poppy Parade Tag
Ornament Die Cut
Gold Topper Die Cut
To create this pretty Christmas card design, I used a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the card base and added a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock for the card front. I heat embossed the background image twice as well as the sentiment from the exclusive stamp set using Gold embossing powder to coordinate with the detail in the ornament die cuts. I added the light Poppy Parade label to the center of the card front and placed the ornament die cut with the coordinating topper onto the label using Stampin' Dimensionals from the kit. I tied a simple bow with Very Vanilla Baker's Twine and added it to the top of the ornament topper with a Mini Glue Dot from the kit. To complete the design, I added two of the Lost Lagoon Faceted Gems for a touch of bling. I love how the finished design turned out and how easy it was to assemble.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my alternative card design will help inspire you to think outside the box and come up with your own creative projects.
