Snowflake Showcase Christmas Card

Now that Thanksgiving is over, the rush to get everything ready for Christmas begins. Today I thought I would share with you a clean and simple Christmas card design that will have your friends saying Wow! when they receive it but won't stress you out to create it.
One of my favorite new colors from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog is Merry Merlot, from the Neutrals Color Collection. I love how warm and rich it looks combined with the Gold embossing and the Gold Glimmer paper.

This card is very simple to create using the Gold Foil Edged Cards & Envelopes from the 2018 Holiday Catalog, one of the hidden treasures of this catalog. I added a layer of Merry Merlot cardstock to the card base and heat embossed the snowflake images and sentiment from the Snow Is Glistening stamp set (item #149742) using Gold embossing powder. I also embossed the Joy sentiment onto a scrap of Merry Merlot cardstock and punched it out using the 1" Circle punch (item #119868).

The large die cut snowflake image has been die cut using the large detailed snowflake die from the Snowfall Thinlets dies (items #149692) from Gold Glimmer paper. I just love the sparkle it adds to this card and how it ties everything together.
As you can see, the Gold Foil Edged Cards & Envelopes (item #147901) add a beautiful touch to cards without the bulk of extra layers of cardstock and the matching envelopes make it a little extra special to the person receiving it. These cards and envelopes are so versatile and can be used of all occasions including special birthdays, weddings and anniversaries as well as graduations. They are a great value, with a pack of 20 cards and envelopes priced at just $9.50, you can create beautiful cards on a budget and no one will know. They are also available in Silver as well.
The Snow Is Glistening stamp set is wonderful all occasion stamp set. The images are so beautiful and coordinate with the Snowfall Thinlets dies to create simply amazing projects. Both of these products are available for a limited time as part of the Snowflake Showcase and will be available until November 30th or while supplies last.

I hope that my Christmas card has given you some inspiration to try your own simply Wow Christmas card designs to send to friends and family this year. All of these products can be found in my Online Store and you can place your order 24/7 and have it shipped to your door. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any help placing your order.

Ink. Stamp. Share Christmas Packaging Blog Hop

Welcome to November's Ink. Stamp. Share Christmas Packaging Blog Hop. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world as they share their fun and creative packaging ideas to help inspire you. You may have just visited Jo's blog or perhaps you are starting with me. I hope that our projects will help provide you with a wealth of ideas for the holidays.
I love creating gift tags as a fun way to decorate and personalize a gift. These gift tags were created using the Snowflake Showcase products that are only available in November while supplies last. I chose to use Merry Merlot and Shaded Spruce cardstock for my color palette and used the Gold Glimmer paper from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog to create the beautiful snowflakes with the Snowfall Thinlets dies.

These tags are fun to create from you scraps of cardstock and the tag itself is created from a piece of 2" x 3 3/4" cardstock that I have punched using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (item #133324). The strip of cardstock at the bottom is a 3/4" x 2" piece of the alternate color and the circle of cardstock behind the snowflakes were punched using the 1 3/4" Circle Punch (item #119850).
The background of the tag has been embossed using the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (item #139672) to add a little texture to the cardstock. The sentiment is from the Snow is Glistening stamp set (item #149742) and I heat embossed it with Gold embossing powder onto a strip of Whisper White cardstock and punch it out using the Classic Label punch (item #141491). To finish off the tags I added Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling and the 3/16" Braided Linen Trim  (item #147808) for the ties at the top.

Gift tags are a wonderful way to get creative and use up your scraps. Each tag can be unique and you can coordinate them with the colors and designs of the wrapping paper for an extra touch. With the products in the Snowflake Showcase, you can create endless designs quickly and simply.
