Ink. Stamp. Share. November Monthly Blog Hop Christmas Tree Decorations

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. November Monthly Blog Hop as we showcase ideas to help you decorate the Christmas Tree. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
One of my favorite things to do at Christmas is to create unique Christmas ornaments using blank ceramic ornaments that I found at a craft store. For this ornament, I used the cute image and coordinating sentiments from the Have A Hoot stamp set (item #153389) from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog, to decorate the front and back of the ornament. I stamped the image and sentiments using Stazon Jet Black Ink and colored the images using Stampin' Blends Markers.
Products Used:
Have A Hoot stamp set (item #153389)
Flight Of Fancy stamp set (item #153410)
Stazon Jet Black Ink Pad (item #101406)
Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154885)
Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154882)
Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #153105)
Real Red Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154899)
Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154901)
Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #146989)
Creating this ornament is simple but it is also something that should not be rushed. I used Stazon Jet Black ink to stamp the owls image first and then added the sentiment below it. Make sure to plan out your images on the ornament first to make sure they will fit before you actually stamp them. This will prevent mistakes and frustration. After stamping the front, I let it sit for a few minutes to dry before flipping the ornament over and stamping the back with the sentiment and the extra snowflakes from the Flight Of Fancy stamp set. Again, I let it sit for a few minutes to give the ink time to dry. To color the owls, I used Light Crumb Cake for the belly, and eye lids of the owls and Light Cinnamon Cider for the rest of the feathers. Apply the color with a gentle dabbing motion so that you have control over where the color goes on the ornament and it also helps to prevent bleeding by applying too much ink. It also helps to protect the tips of your Stampin' Blends Markers so they don't get damaged. The beak and claws were colored with Light Mango Melody. I used Light Granny Apple Green for the leaves and Dark Real Red for the berries. The branches were colored with Light Crumb Cake and the snow and snowflakes were colored with Light Seaside Spray. I love the vibrancy of the Stampin' Blends Markers for these ornaments.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my ornament will help inspire you to create your own fun projects to celebrate the holiday season. Just think of the variety of stamps that you can use to create your own unique ornaments.

PPP November Blog Hop Jolly Gingerbread

Welcome to the PPP November Blog Hop as we showcase alternative project ideas for the Jolly Gingerbread Kit. This fun, festive kit is perfect for the holidays and we are excited to share our ideas and projects with you to help you think outside of the box.
The gift card holders in this Paper Pumpkin kit are so cute and I love all the wonderful detail. But what if you need something a little bigger to hold a treat? I decided to combine the supplies from the Jolly Gingerbread kit with the Little Treat Box Dies from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog to create this fun treat holder for the holidays. With just a few coordinating supplies from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, this treat holder is simple to create and you can create a whole gingerbread village to give to family and friends. They would also be a sweet place card holder idea for the dinner table on Christmas Day.
As you can see, I die cut one of the Little Treat Boxes using the die from the Little Treat Box Dies (item #153571) from Cinnamon Cider cardstock. I cut one of the gift card holder bases from the kit, along the score lines to create the front and back of the gingerbread house. I decorated the Whisper White layer for the front and back of the house using the exclusive stamp set from the kit and the Blushing Bride Ink Spot. I stamped the sentiment onto the sentiment label and embellished it with two small Basic Pearls that I colored with the Dark Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Marker. I attached the decorated house layers to the front and back of the treat box with Stampin' Seal to complete the treat holder. The candy gems add the final touch.

3D Paper Trimmer November Blog Hop Christmas Is Coming Fast

It's time to hop along with the 3D Paper Trimmer November Blog Hop as we explore the theme "Christmas Is Coming Fast". It's hard to believe that we are approaching the end of November already and soon it will be time to celebrate Christmas. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas and projects to help you get ready for this wonderful time of the year.
Today I thought I would share this easy fun fold card design that is perfect for creating that Wow Christmas card quickly and simply. I combined the Don't Stop Believin' stamp set and the Tis The Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog to decorate this fancy fold card using traditional Christmas colors. The gold embossing adds that extra special touch that is perfect for taking your card to the next level.
Products Used:
Don't Stop Believin' stamp set (item #153332)
Tis The Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #153489)
Ornate Frames Dies (item #150664)
Snowflake Splendor 1/4" Ribbon (item #153548)
Shaded Spruce Cardstock (item #146981)
Real Red Cardstock (item #102482)
Gilded Gems (item #152478)
Gold Embossing Powder (item #109129)
Measurements:
Shaded Spruce Cardstock card base - 4 1/4" x 11"
(scored at 2 1/4", 3 5/8". 7 3/8" & 8 3/4")
Real Red Cardstock layer - 3 1/2" x 4"
Tis The Season Designer Series Paper - 2" x 4" (2 pieces)
Shaded Spruce Cardstock - For sentiment label
I discovered this wonderful fun fold card design on You Tube in a video created by fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Brenda Quintana. The secret to this card design is crisp fold lines that give the card its wonderful shape and allows it to stand up on its own. The side panels are decorated with the pieces of designer series paper and I heat embossed the Santa image from the Don't Stop Believin' stamp set with Gold Embossing Powder to make it pop against the Real Red cardstock. The sentiment label was cut with one of the Ornate Frames Dies from Shaded Spruce cardstock and I embellished it with two of the medium sized Gilded Gems. I love how the pretty Snowflake Splendor Ribbon adds the finishing touch to this card design. You can add a Whisper White cardstock panel to the back side of the card, in the center panel, for a place to write your Christmas message.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my fancy fold card design helps inspire you to create your own fun projects to help celebrate the holidays. There are so many wonderful options to choose from in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.

SBTD November Blog Hop Holiday Decorations

Welcome to the SBTD November Blog Hop as we share our Holiday Decoration ideas to help inspire you to get creative for the Holidays. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their creativity with you.
For my Christmas decoration, I chose to create a framed wall hanging using the Poinsettia Petals Bundle (item #155148) with the beautiful Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (item #153487) which can both be found in the Poinsettia Place Suite in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. I used an inexpensive 5"x7" picture frame as the base for this design and added a layer of the pretty paper to create the background. I love the traditional Christmas red and green combination with a touch of gold to step up the design. This is a great way to convert a simple frame into a wonderful way to decorate your home.
Products Used:
Poinsettia Petals Bundle (item #155148)
Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (item #153487)
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Whisper White Cardstock (item #100730)
Gold Embossing Powder (item #109129)
Real Red Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154899)
Old Olive Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154892)
Gilded Gems (item #152478)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Measurements:
Poinsettia Place Designer Series background layer - 5" x 7"
Whisper White cardstock - For sentiment label and die cuts
This is a quick and easy project to create and a great way to add personal touches to your home for the holidays. This framed art would also be a lovely gift to someone. The poinsettia flower and leaves have been embossed with Gold Embossing Powder onto Whisper White cardstock and I colored the images using the Real Red Stampin' Blends Combo Pack for the flower and the Old Olive Stampin' Blends Combo Pack for the leaves. I also embossed the sentiment onto the Whisper White cardstock label that I die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I attached the designer series paper background to the base of the frame and added the embossed sentiment label to the background using Stampin' Seal. I added the poinsettia and leaves using Stampin' Dimensionals. To embellish the center of the flower, I added three large basic pearls and I added three of the small gold Gilded Gems to embellish the sentiment label.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my project will inspire you to create your own wonderful projects to help you decorate for the Holidays. There are so many wonderful ideas and products in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog to choose from.
