Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop as we share Sneak Peeks from the upcoming new January-April Mini Catalog and 2023 Sale-a-bration Catalog. It's always so exciting to share new projects created with these amazing new products to help inspire you. Our wonderful Design Team members will be sharing their projects and ideas to help spark your creativity. The January-April 2023 Mini Catalog and 2023 Sale-a-bration Catalog will be available for customers to order from beginning January 5th, 2023.
There is no better way to start prepping for the New Year than new products from new catalogs. There are so many wonderful products to choose from, so it took me a little while to come up with my card design. I knew I wanted to create a birthday card because it's one of the most popular cards that people send out throughout the year, and I thought it would be a great way to inspire you to get creative in 2023. One of my favorite stamp sets from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog, is a hidden gem called Best Day. It is towards the end of the catalog on page 67 and I love the combination of images and sentiments. I decided to combine this stamp set with the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper, which is a mega paper pack with 48 sheets of 12"x12" designer series paper, that you can earn Free with a qualifying $100 order. The colors and patterns in this pack are so pretty and work well for all ages and all occasions. For my card, I chose to use Fresh Freesia, Petal Pink, Pale Papaya and Basic White with a touch of Silver to step up the design. I love how fun and festive this card design, so perfect for making someone feel special on their birthday

To assemble the card, I attached the focal layer to the Fresh Freesia Deckled Rectangle. Next, I attached the Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon around the center of the designer series paper layer to the card base. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, I attached the focal layer to the card base, centering it on the designer series paper. To add a touch of sparkle, I added the Silver Foil stars to the card front and then colored the Happy and layers of the cake with Clear Wink of Stella. Around The World On Wednesday December Blog Hop Something New Something Used

Welcome to the Around the World On Wednesday December Blog Hop as we share projects with the theme, "Something New, Something Used". It's hard to believe this is our last hop for 2022 but I think you will love the wonderful projects and ideas that our Design Team members will be sharing to help inspire you to get creative.
For my card design, I decided to pair the new Friendly Gnomes stamp set from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog, with the Gnomes Dies which are carrying over from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. I love that the several of the dies fit the cute gnomes in the new Friendly Gnomes stamp set. For my design, I wanted to create a cute Valentine's Day card using one of the cute gnome images and the Love You sentiment. To create the layout, I used the Framed Florets Dies with one of the designs from the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper. These products are very definitely something I have "used" a lot to create projects over the past two months and I love how they fit with my card theme. This card design is a wonderful example of how you can combine something new, with products that you already own to create new projects.

Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper

Blushing Bride Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
This cute Valentine's Day card was so much fun to create and I love that one of the designs in the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper, worked perfectly for this card design. I used the detailed hearts die to create the frame in the designer series paper with the cute little hearts and added the Cherry Cobbler Oval frame to the center to frame the focal oval. For the gnome, I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White cardstock and colored it with Stampin' Blends Markers. I die cut the image out with the coordinating die from the Gnomes Dies and attached it to the Basic White focal oval with Stampin' Dimensionals. to create the sentiment, I stamped the image with Cherry Cobbler Classic ink onto the Blushing Bride sentiment label and attached it to the bottom of the oval with Stampin' Dimensionals, just below the gnome's feet. I decided not to add any embellishments to my card design, preferring to let the hearts frame stand out.

ICS December Blog Hop Thank You

Welcome to the last ICS Blog Hop for 2022 as we showcase Thank You cards to help inspire you. It's hard to believe it is December already and Christmas is less than 2 weeks away. It's the perfect time to create Thank You cards to have on hand to send to the people you appreciate and let them know you care. Our wonderful Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas to help spark your creativity and help you to create your own beautiful cards to share with others.
This time of year can get very hectic and stressful and one of my favorite ways to relax and unwind is to enjoy some Creative Therapy. Creating clean and simple cards is not only a rewarding experience but a great way to replenish your card stash. For today's Thank You card, I have chosen to use the beautiful Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper with the coordinating Framed Florets Bundle. You may recognize this layout as one I have used quite a few times over the past couple of months and I must admit, it has become a favorite of mine. This time, I decided to create a landscape orientated design to show another variation with these products. I heat embossed the sentiment and floral details with Silver embossing powder and colored the flowers and leaves with Stampin' Blends Markers to step up the design. This design would work well for a variety of occasions, for people of all ages.
Products Used:
Framed Florets Bundle (item #162407)
Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper (item #161814)
Balmy Blue Cardstock (item #146982)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Polished Pink Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155520)
Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155521)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Measurements:
Balmy Blue Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Detailed Oval Frame die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Oval die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
This card is so simple to assemble and doesn't need a lot of supplies. The hardest part just might be choosing which design from the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper to use for your background. There are so many great ones to choose from. To create the sentiment and frame, I die cut one of the medium detailed frames from Balmy Blue cardstock and one from Basic White cardstock. This way I have the outer frame in Balmy Blue and the matching center oval in Basic White for my sentiment. I heat embossed my sentiment and floral details with Silver embossing to add an elegant touch to the design. For a pop of color, I colored in the flower with the Light Polished Pink Stampin' Blends Marker and the leaves with the Light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Marker. The next step is to assemble the card by attaching the card front to the card base and then centering the frame and sentiment oval on the card front. The finishing touch is adding some Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the sentiment oval for a touch of bling. And there you have it! A simply beautiful card that is easy and stress-free to create. The Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper is only available while supplies last, so I would recommend ordering it soon to add to our collection. There are so many beautiful designs suitable for all seasons and both masculine and feminine designs.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful Thank You cards to share with the people you love. The Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper and coordinating Framed Florets Bundle, help take the stress out of creating a variety of wonderful card designs.

Colour Combo December Blog Hop

It's time to hop along with the Colour Combo December Blog Hop and for our last hop of the year, our color challenge is Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo and Coastal Cabana. Join our talented Design Team members as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you to explore this beautiful color combination.
For my card design this month, I decided to keep it clean and simple. I love how these colors work together and I wanted to let them shine through with just a touch of Gold embossing to step it up. For this card, I chose two stamp sets that work really well together and are hidden gems in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. For the background shapes, I used the Watercolor Shapes stamp set and I used images from the Graceful Tiles stamp set to decorate the shapes. This card design would work well for so many occasions and you could experiment with different color combinations to personalize your cards.
Products Used:
Graceful Tiles stamp set (item #159390)
Watercolor Shapes stamp set (item #156968)
Coastal Cabana Cardstock (item #131297)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Thick Basic White Cardstock (item #159229)
Coastal Cabana Classic Ink Pad (item #147097)
Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink Pad (item #147052)
Poppy Parade Classic Ink Pad (item #147050)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Thick Basic White Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Basic White Cardstock
Card Front - 5" x 3 3/4"
Coastal Cabana Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
This card design is so simple to create and requires just a few supplies. I chose to use Thick Basic White cardstock for the card base to help make the focal layer pop. The layer of Coastal Cabana cardstock adds a nice frame around the card front and helps step up the design. The Gold embossed images on top of the stamped background shapes adds a simple elegance to the card and I love how the sentiment ties in with the rest of the design. To finish off the card, I added some Basic Rhinestones to add a touch of bling. The simplicity of this card design is so beautiful and I look forward to trying this layout with other color combinations.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will inspire you to explore this wonderful color combination when creating your own beautiful projects. As you can see from my design, it doesn't have to be fancy with lots of layers. Sometimes it's all about keeping it clean and simple.

Stamping Inkspirations December Blog Hop Sounds of the Season

Welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations December Blog Hop as we celebrate the Sounds of the Season with our last blog hop for 2022. Many of us are busy getting ready for the holidays and creating last minute projects to celebrate this special season. Our wonderful Design Team members will be sharing their beautiful projects to help inspire you to create your own projects.
For today's card, I decided to use the retiring Host stamp set Caroling Mice. They look so cute and festive and I love the idea of them singing to the person that receives this card. I paired it with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder, which adds some wonderful texture to this card and adds to the musical theme I have chosen for today's blog hop. For my color combination, I decided to use Balmy Blue and Pacific Point with splashes of bright holiday colors for the mice. I like to think that the sounds of the season are joyful and uplifting, just like my cute little carolers.
Products Used:
Caroling Mice stamp set (item #159912) Host Reward - Retiring
Give It A Whirl Dies (item #154336)

Snowfall Accents Puff Paint (item #150691) - Retiring
Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels (item #158130)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Pacific Point Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Large Square Layer - 3 3/4" x 2 2/4"
2 Sentiment Labels die cut with the Give It A Whirl Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Large Square Layer - 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Stamped Mice image (fussy cut with Paper Snips)
This sweet card design just "sings" Christmas with these cute little Caroling Mice and I added some texture to the background with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. I stamped the mice image onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and colored them in with Stampin' Blends Markers. I chose to use Gray Granite, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake to color the mice and used Shaded Spruce, Balmy Blue and Poppy Parade to color in their coats, hats and scarves. Using Paper Snips, I fussy cut the image out. For the focal background, I stamped the ground using Smoky Slate Classic ink and the falling snow with Balmy Blue Classic ink. The musical notes were stamped with Pacific Point Classic ink and I colored them in using the Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker to help them stand out. I added the mice to the stamped background, centering it on the Basic White square and then layered it onto the Pacific Point layer.
The sentiment labels were created using the sentiment die from the Give It A Whirl Dies and I heat embossed the sentiments with White embossing powder to make them pop. I attached the focal square and sentiments to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop them up. Using some Snowfall Accents Puff Paint, I added some snow to the ground around the mice's feet and also to the falling snow to add some texture to the design. To add a touch of sparkle, I added some Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels to either side of each of the sentiments and to the falling snow on the focal layer. This cute Christmas card was so much fun to create and I think it fits today's theme perfectly.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to use our wonderful theme to create your own beautiful projects to celebrate the holiday season. There are so many wonderful products to choose from to help spark your creativity.
