Ink. Stamp. Share. February Monthly Blog Hop Fancy Fold Cards

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. February Monthly Blog Hop as we showcase wonderful Fancy Fold cards to help inspire you. I hope you will take the time to hop along and visit the amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are participating in our blog hop as they share their ideas and projects to help spark your creative spirit.
Fancy Fold cards are a wonderful way to make the people you care about feel extra special. For my Fancy Fold card, I chose to create a Gate Fold card and I stepped it up by using the pretty Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152486) combined with Gold Foil and Gold Embossing for an elegant touch. I am not normally a yellow person, but I just love this gorgeous designer series paper and wanted it to be the showcase for this card.
Products Used:
Jar Of Flowers stamp set (item #152515)
Peaceful Moments stamp set (item #151595)

Bumblebee 1/4" Ribbon (item #153622)

Basic White Thick Cardstock
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8")
Basic White Cardstock

Oval die cut with Stitched Shapes Dies
Bumblebee Cardstock

Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper
2 Pieces - 5 1/4" x 1 7/8"
Gold Foil
Scalloped Oval die cut with Layering Ovals Dies
This pretty Gate Fold card is simple to create and fits inside a regular medium sized envelope. The Bumblebee designer series paper really pops against the Basic White cardstock and I love how the Gold Foil frames the sentiment label. The Gold Embossing for the sentiment label and on the inside layer of the card adds a touch of elegance to the card. I used the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and I added the floral image from the Jar Of Flowers stamp set to the sentiment label and the inside of the card to coordinate with the designer series paper. The used a piece of the Bumblebee ribbon to keep the card closed and tied a bow next to the sentiment label as a decorative touch. This pretty Spring themed card would work for a variety of occasions.

Colour Combo July Blog Hop

It's time to explore new color combinations with the Colour Combo July Blog Hop. This month we have been challenged to create a project using Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight and Sahara Sand. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you.
My card design today features the Jar of Flowers stamp set (item #152515) combined with the Country Home stamp set (item #147678). I love that the flowers fit on top of the milk can image to create a more country feel for this card design.
For the card base, I chose to use Sahara Sand cardstock and I added a layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock that I embossed with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder (item #153200) to add texture to the background. I die cut a label from Whisper White cardstock using one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (item #149638) to create the focal image.
I stamped the milk can image from the Country Home stamp set onto the bottom of the label using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with the Sahara Sand Stampin' Write Marker. I stamped the flower image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and colored it with Misty Moonlight and Highland Heather Stampin' Blends Markers and the Sahara Sand Stampin' Write Marker. I fussy cut around the image and added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back.
To assemble the card, I attached the Whisper White label to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a piece of Misty Moonlight 1/4" Ribbon (item #153624) to the top of the milk can with a Mini Glue Dot. Next, I attached the flowers so that they overlap the top of the milk can and ribbon, For then sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the Country Home stamp set with White Embossing Powder onto a scrap of Highland Heather cardstock and die cut it with the small die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690). I attached the sentiment so that it overlaps the bottom of the Whisper White label. I used a Mini Stampin' Dimensional on the back of the right side of the sentiment so that it attaches to the card front and the left side adheres to the label with adhesive.  I added a small Basic Rhinestone to the sentiment for a touch of bling.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to try this wonderful color combination and create your own beautiful projects. There are so many wonderful options in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog to help spark your creativity.

GSF July Blog Hop 2020-2022 In Colors

Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends (aka GSF) July Blog Hop as we showcase the new 2020-2022 In Colors from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. These bold, vibrant colors are so versatile and I am excited to see all the wonderful projects my fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators will be sharing during our hop this month.
Today I created a card design using the Jar of Flowers Bundle (item #154064) and I wanted to focus on the sunflowers image for my design. I thought that the combination of Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider would be perfect for this card design and I love the way they look together.
To create this card, I started with Cinnamon Cider cardstock for the card base and I added a layer of Bumblebee Designer Series Paper from the 2020-2022 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #153070), to create the background. For the focal image, I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (item #149638) to die cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock for the label background and attached it to the center of the card front.
The focal design was created by stamping the sunflower image from the Jar of Flowers stamp set (item #152515) using Soft Suede Classic ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock. I colored the image using a variety of Stampin' Blends Markers and then fussy cut the image. I stamped the jar image using Soft Sea Foam Classic ink onto a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock and used the coordinating Jar Punch to punch it out. I attached the jar image towards the bottom of the Very Vanilla cardstock label and attached the floral image on top of the jar using Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up.
For the sentiment label, I used one of the sentiments from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (item #151331) and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder onto a scrap of Cinnamon Cider cardstock. I die cut the sentiment using one of the smaller dies from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and attached it onto the jar with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the design, I added some Gilded Gems (item #152478) for a touch of bling.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design inspires you to experiment with these wonderful new In Colors to create your own fun projects.

Kylie's International Blog Highlight June 2020

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights as we showcase Thank You cards to send to the people in our lives. It's amazing the difference that a simple thank you card can make in someone's life and right now we have so many people that we can send these cards to and help brighten their day.
For my card design today. I decided to use the beautiful new Bumblebee, which is one of our new 2020-2022 In Colors, as my focal color. I used Bumblebee cardstock for the card base and added a 5"x 3 3/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock to create the background layer. To dress up this clean and simple card design, I added a 1" x 5" strip of the wonderful new Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper to the left side of the Whisper White card front and covered the seam with a piece of the pretty Bumblebee 1/4" Ribbon.
To decorate the Whisper White cardstock, I heat embossed the roses image from the Jar Of Flowers stamp set (item #152515) with Gold embossing powder in the top and bottom right corners to balance out the card design. I just love how the gold embossing looks with Bumblebee.
The sentiment was created using the So Sentimental Bundle (item #153828), which I am so happy to see carry over to the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I die cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock with one of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and heat embossed the sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set with Gold Embossing Powder onto the die cut. I layered the sentiment label onto a piece of Bumblebee cardstock die cut with one of the layering dies from the same die set. I added two of the small Gilded Gems (item #152478) to the Bumblebee cardstock label and attached the label to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
This pretty card design is simple to create and would work well for a variety of occasions and you could change the colors to create a completely different look. I love how the Gold embossing and the Gilded Gems add an elegant touch to this card design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful Thank You cards to send out to the people in your life. The new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog is filled with wonderful products to help you create beautiful projects.
