Ink. Stamp. Share. September Showcase Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. September Showcase Blog Hop as we share projects we are currently working on. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you to get creative.
Now that Summer Break is over and my son is back in school, my schedule has meant less time for creating as we get used to a new routine. One of my favorite ways to indulge in some creative therapy is to create beautiful clean and simple cards with designer series paper. For today's card design, I used one of the pretty patterns from the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper and combined it with the In Your Words stamp set, which is an exclusive Host Reward that can be earned for free during Sale-a-bration. The sentiments and fonts in this stamp set are beautiful and can work for a variety of occasions. With just a little coordinating ribbon and some bling, we can create simply beautiful cards that we can share with family and friends to brighten their day.
Products Used:
In Your Words stamp set (item #156619) Sale-a-bration Host Reward
Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (item #155499)
Everyday Label Punch (item #144668)
Pale Papaya Cardstock (item #155668)
Pale Papaya 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon (item #155672)
Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (item #151193)
Stampin" Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Pale Papaya Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Label punched out with the Everyday Label Punch
Hand Penned Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
This pretty clean and simple card has the perfect color combination as we transition from Summer into Fall, I love how the Champagne Rhinestones and the Pale Papaya Ribbon help to step up this design and the White embossing for the sentiment adds an elegant touch. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the sentiment label over the ribbon to add some dimension to the card design. The In Your Words stamp set is a wonderful collection of sentiments and can be earned free when you host a qualifying $300 party or place a qualifying order. What better time to get together with friends and enjoy some creative therapy and enjoy the wonderful rewards during Sale-a-bration.

Crafty Collaborations Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Sale-a-bration Blog Hop as we share ideas to showcase the amazing new products from the Summer Sale-a-bration 2021 Catalog. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their projects to help inspire you.
One of my favorite Sale-a-bration products is the Delicate Dahlias stamp set. I just love the variety of images in this set that provide so many wonderful options for creating projects. For today's card design, I chose to use the line drawing for the large flower and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder onto Blushing Bride cardstock. The embossing creates a soft elegance to the design that works well for a sympathy card. This soft and pretty card design works for a variety of occasions and can be created in a variety of colors.
Products Used:
Delicate Dahlias stamp set (item #156601) Sale-a-bration Reward
Everyday Label Punch (item #144668)
Blushing Bride Cardstock (item #131198)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554)
White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon (item #156408)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Blushing Bride Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Focal Layer - 5" x 3 3/4"
Sentiment Label punched with the Everyday Label Punch
Basic White Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Label punched with the Everyday Label Punch, cut in half to create matte for sentiment label
This clean and simple card is easy to create and uses one of my favorite techniques -heat embossing. I love the elegant look of White embossing and how it looks on colored cardstock. The detailed outline stamp image looks beautiful when embossed and I stamped it twice on opposite corners of the Blushing Bride cardstock layer to create the design. I also heat embossed the sentiment onto Blushing Bride cardstock and punched it out with the Everyday Label Punch. I layered it with a Basic White label that I cut in half and positioned so that a small sliver frames the sentiment label. The ribbon I chose for this card is the beautiful White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon from the new July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I love the pretty shimmer and sparkle it adds to the design without being overwhelming. To finish off the card, I added small Pearls to the centers of the flowers and two large pearls to decorate the sentiment label. The Delicate Dahlias stamp set is so versatile and a must have for your stamping collection. You can earn this stamp set for Free during Sale-a-bration with a qualifying $100 order.

GSF April Blog Hop Rainbow

Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends (aka GSF) April Blog Hop and our theme this month is Rainbow. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
Today I decided to use the beautiful Brights 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152487) to create this fun and cheerful birthday card. Using strips from 7 different colors, I created the rainbow, using the polka dot pattern from this designer series paper pack. I used Basic Black cardstock for the background to help make these bright colors pop and I love the contrast of Black and White that creates a frame for these wonderful colors. I used the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set (item #148618) for my sentiment and heat embossed it onto Black cardstock to help it stand out. This card design works well for people of all ages and is a wonderful way to celebrate a special day.
Products Used:
Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set (item #148518) Retiring
Everyday Label Punch (item #144668)
Thick Basic White Cardstock (item #159229)
Basic Black Cardstock (item #121045)
Brights 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152487) Retiring
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
White Embossing Powder (item #109132)
Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon (item #144213) Retiring
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Basic White Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Basic Black Cardstock
Background Layer for strips - 4 7/8" x 3 5/8"
Background Matte Layer - 5" x 3 3/4"
Sentiment Label punched with the Everyday Label Punch
Brights 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (polka dot pattern)
3/4" x 3 1/2" - 1 Strip of each of the following colors:
Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, Gorgeous Grape
This clean and simple card design is easy to create and assemble. To create the rainbow of strips, I adhered each of the strips to the Basic Black cardstock layer (4 7/8" x 3 5/8") in rainbow order, leaving a slim border between each strip. I then attached this layer to the Basic Black matte background layer to create a frame around the focal pattern. I attached a piece of the Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon around the middle of this layer and added the sentiment label on top with Stampin' Dimensionals. The sentiment was heat embossed with White embossing powder and I added small Basic Rhinestone Jewels to decorate the label. To complete the card design, I attached the focal layer to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore using a rainbow of colors to create your own wonderful projects. Some of the products that I used to create today's card are retiring and are available while supplies last or until May 3rd. ICS August Blog Hop Punch Me Out

It's time to join the ICS August Blog Hop as we showcase punches with this month's Punch Me Out theme. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their creative ideas and projects using punches to help inspire you.
One of my favorite things about punches, is being able to create beautiful sentiment labels quickly and simply. For my card today, I paired the Everyday Label Punch (item #144668) with the Label Me Fancy Punch (item #151297) to create a a lovely sentiment label to compliment my design. I love the way these two versatile punches layer together and they can both be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.
I really love this technique for creating triangles with designer series paper to create a fun background design, so I decided to try it with the lovely Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper (item #152492). I started with Shaded Spruce cardstock for the card base and added a layer of Whisper White cardstock for the background to the designer series paper.
For the designer series paper layer, I cut a 5" x 3 3/4" piece of Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper and cut it diagonally from corner to corner in both directions to create four triangles. I flipped two of the opposite triangles to create the pattern for the card design and adhered them to the Whisper White cardstock layer.
To create the sentiment label, I punched out one label with the Label Me Fancy Punch from Whisper White cardstock and another label from Shaded Spruce cardstock with the Everyday Label cardstock. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Seaside Notions stamp set (item #149278) onto the Whisper White label with Gold Embossing Powder and attached the label to the Shaded Spruce label to frame it. I added the label to the center of the card design with Stampin' Dimensionals and embellished it with Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling. I love how this simple sentiment label design adds an elegant touch to this card design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will help you to explore the world of punches and all the wonderful ways you can create with them. There are so many great options to try.

Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights August 2020

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights for August. Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world are sharing their amazing projects and ideas to help inspire you with your own creations. We hope you enjoy the projects we have to share with you this month.
Today I created this fun card design inspired by fellow Demonstrator, Jan Farring. I loved her idea for cutting the designer series paper layer into triangles and then flipping the left and right side triangles to create a quilt style pattern. For my card design, I used of the designs from the beautiful Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152486) and paired it with several of the new 2020-2022 In Color products, which can all be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.
To create this card design, I started with a Just Jade cardstock card base and added a 5 1/4" x 4" Whisper White cardstock layer for the base of the background. I cut a piece of 5" x 3 3/4" designer series paper diagonally from the top left corner to the bottom right corner and the rotated it to cut it diagonally the other direction, creating 4 triangles. Leaving the larger two triangles with the floral pattern, I flipped the two side triangles so that the Just Jade pattern was facing up to provide contrast. I then adhered the triangles to the Whisper White cardstock layer, leaving a gap between the triangles that creates a white border to the design.
For the sentiment, I punched out a label from Misty Moonlight cardstock, using the Everyday Label Punch (item #144668) and then punched out a label from Whisper White cardstock using the Label Me Fancy Punch (item #151297). I heat embossed the sentiment from the Special Someone stamp set (item #151643) using Silver Embossing Powder and adhered the label to the Misty Moonlight label. I colored two of the medium Basic Pearls with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the sentiment label for a pop of color. To complete the design, I cut two pieces of Magenta Madness 1/4" Ribbon (item #153623) approx 4 1/4" long and cut the ends diagonally. I attached them to the center of the card front and added the sentiment label over the top with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added the card front to the Just Jade card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. This clean and simple design is a wonderful way to use your designer series paper to create beautiful cards for all occasions.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will inspire you to explore using Designer Series Paper in your own projects. With so many wonderful designs to choose from, the hardest decision is which one to pick first.
