Ink. Stamp. Share. September Monthly Blog Hop Color Inspiration

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. September Monthly Blog Hop and this month we have a fun Color Challenge. We have been challenged to create a project using at least three of the following colors: Soft Succulent, Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink, Polished Pink and Rich Razzleberry. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their projects and ideas using these wonderful colors to help inspire you.
I love participating in Color Challenges as it helps me to explore new possibilities and helps me step outside my comfort zone. The colors in this month's Color Challenge are so beautiful and I love how well they work together. I decided to create my card design with all five of these beautiful colors.
For my card design, I chose to use the wonderful Gorgeous Leaves stamp set from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I paired it with the sentiment from the In Your Words stamp set, which is the Sale-a-bration Host Reward you can earn free with a qualifying party/order and is available only until September 30th. To create my design, I used the soft colors for the background and the darker colors for the focal leaves. I love the non-traditional colors for the leaves and how they pop against the background. The Gorgeous Leaves stamp set is so versatile and works well with so many color combinations.
Products Used:
Gorgeous Leaves stamp set (item #153365)

Polished Pink 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon (item #155714)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Soft Succulent Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Card Front - 5" x 3 3/4"
One of my favorite things about the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set is the wonderful variety of images it has and how well they work together to create collage designs. I chose to use the large dot background image with Petal Pink Classic ink along with the smaller dot background image with Soft Sea Foam Classic ink to create a muted background for my design. Using the three large leaf images, I stamped them with the remaining colors to create a beautiful design. For the sentiment label, I die cut the label from Soft Sea Foam cardstock with one of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and stamped the sentiment from the In Your Words stamp set with the Rich Razzleberry Classic ink. I attached a piece of the Soft Succulent and Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbons across the front of the card front and attached the sentiment over the top with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then attached the card front to the Soft Sea Foam cardstock layer and then attached it to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card design, I added Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the sentiment label and the card front for a touch of bling. I love how soft and pretty this card design is and how the ribbons add a pop of color to step up the card design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore creating your own wonderful projects with these beautiful colors. There are so many possibilities to explore with Stampin' Up!'s coordinating products.

Crafty Challenge September Blog Hop Color Inspiration

Welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop as we explore this month's wonderful color challenge using Bermuda Bay, Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze. With today being the first day of Fall, I think these colors are perfect for creating a Fall themed card design.
For my card design today, I decided to pair the Textures & Frames stamp set with the In Your Words stamp set to create a warm Fall themed card design. Both of these stamp sets are exclusive during Sale-a-bration and can be earned as a free reward. I love the abstract designs in the Textures & Frames stamp set and chose several of the images to create the designs for this card. I also added Copper, Gold and Silver to help step up the design.
Products Used:
Textures & Frames stamp set (item #156616) Sale-a-bration Reward with a qualifying $50 Order
In Your Words stamp set (item #156619) Sale-a-bration Host Reward
Intricate Leaves Dies (item #153566)
Tailor Made Tags Dies (item #155563)
Bermuda Bay Cardstock (item #131197)
Cajun Craze Cardstock (item #119684)
Merry Merlot Cardstock (item #146979)
Basic White Cardstock (item # 159276)
Copper Foil Sheets (item #142020)
Bermuda Bay Classic Ink Pad (item #147096)
Cajun Craze Classic Ink Pad (item #147085)
Merry Merlot Classic Ink Pad (item #147112)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)

Measurements:

Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Cajun Craze Cardstock
Layer 1 -  5 1/4" x 4"
Bermuda Bay Cardstock
Layer 2 - 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Basic White Cardstock
Focal Layer - 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Sentiment Label die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Dies
Copper Foil Sheets
Detailed large leaf die cut with the Intricate Leaves Dies
This card design was so much fun to create and I love the way these colors work together. I love how the metallic embossing powders helped step up the background design for the focal layer and the Copper detailed leaf adds a wonderful finishing touch to the card design. The Textures & Frames stamp set has so many amazing images that are perfect for creating fun background designs. I used the splotch image to create a tone on tone look for the Cajun Craze cardstock layer. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the Bermuda Bay cardstock layer and the sentiment label to add dimension to the design. The Linen Thread bow is the only embellishment that I added to the design as I felt that the embossing and the Copper foil added enough bling without overwhelming the card.
This wonderful Fall themed card design would work well for a variety of occasions and would make a great masculine card design. I had so much fun creating with this beautiful color combination and can't wait to try creating more card designs with them. There are so many wonderful possibilities to explore.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help encourage you to explore creating your own wonderful projects with this color combination. There are so many amazing products in the Stampin' Up! catalogs to help you create your own unique designs.

Stamping With Friends Coloring Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Coloring Blog Hop as we showcase different coloring techniques to help inspire you to get creative. You will be visiting with wonderful Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their projects and ideas to help you create your own beautiful projects.
I love to color with Stampin' Blends Markers. They are so versatile and can be used to color a variety of products to customize them for your projects. For my card design, I chose one of the patterns from the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper, a Sale-a-bration product you can earn free with a qualifying order. I colored the leaves with a variety of Stampin' Blends Markers to help bring the design to life. I also used the Stampin' Blends Markers to color the embossed sentiment and the Black & White Gingham Ribbon. With just a little coloring, I transformed the black and white designer series paper into a beautiful Fall themed card design to help brighten someone's day.
Products Used:
Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper (item #156630) Sale-a-bration Reward
In Your Words stamp set (item #156619) Sale-a-bration Host Reward

Old Olive Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154892)
Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154880)
Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154897)
Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154883)

Basic Black Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Label punched out with the Everyday Label Punch
Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Black & White Gingham Ribbon
2 Pieces approx. 4 1/2" each
This fun Fall card design is simple to create. I used Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light Cherry Cobbler, Light Old Olive and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Markers to color the leaves on the designer series paper to create a pretty Fall design. I used the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker to color the two pieces of Black & White Gingham Ribbon and attached them so that the wrapped around the center of the card front 3/4" apart. For the sentiment label, I heat embossed the image from the In Your Words stamp set with White embossing powder and colored it with Light Pumpkin Pie and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Markers. I also heat embossed several of the small leaves images from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set with White embossing powder and colored them with Light Old Olive, Dark Pumpkin Pie and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends, to coordinate with the background design. I attached the sentiment to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals and attached it over the two pieces of ribbon in the center of the card front. This fun coloring technique is so relaxing and a great way to transform your black and white designer series paper.

For my card design, I chose to create a clean and simple card using three ink colors with the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Textures & Frames. I love the abstract images in this stamp set and they are perfect for creating fun backgrounds. I created a brick style pattern by alternating the colors. For the sentiment, I used one of the images from the Sale-a-bration Host Reward stamp set, In Your Words. I stamped the circle image from the Textures & Frames stamp set with Blushing Bride Classic ink and heat embossed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder. I framed the Basic White circle with a Cinnamon Cider cardstock circle and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. The background splotches were created with Gold embossing to coordinate with the sentiment.
