Paper Pumpkin Possibilities November Blog Hop From The North Pole

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin November Blog Hop as we showcase alternative project ideas using the From The North Pole Kit. Our talented Design Team members will inspire you to think outside the box and help you create your own wonderful alternative projects with this kit.
For my alternative card design, I chose to use supplies from the kit along with Sweet Sorbet and Basic White cardstock. You may notice that this card has No Stamping. Yes, you heard that right. I actually created a card with No Stamping. As strange as they may seem, I really love how this design turned out and the simplicity of this Christmas card. This card design shows how you can take the kit supplies to create a simply beautiful card quickly and simply. The bold color combination and sparkle of the snowflake help make a simply Wow Christmas card.
Products Used:
Paper Pumpkin December From The North Pole Kit
Sweet Sorbet Cardstock (item #159268)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Measurements:
Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Basic White Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
From The North Pole Kit
Sweet Sorbet & White Striped Tag
Mint Macaron Glimmer Snowflake
Preprinted Sentiment Label
Mint Macaron Baker's Twine
Creating simple card designs can be a challenge for me, especially when there is no stamping involved. I went through a few different layouts before finally coming up with this winning design. I just love the bold colors and clean layout of this design. The fact that the majority of the supplies were from the kit meant that it was quick and simple to assemble. I used Mini Stampin' Dimensionals from the kit to pop up the tag onto the card front and then Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to add both the snowflake and the sentiment label onto the tag to pop them up. I tied a simple bow using the Mint Macaron Baker's Twine through the hole at the top of the tag and added a Basic Rhinestone to the center of the snowflake to finish off the card design. I hope that this card design will inspire you to experiment with the supplies in this kit to create your own Christmas cards to send to family and friends.

Kylie's International Blog Highlights Winners Hop November 2022

I am so happy that you are joining me today to hop along with Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winners Hop. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for my card earlier this month and helping me to achieve this wonderful honor. You will have the opportunity to visit with Kylie Bertucci and the Top 10 Winners for November as they share wonderful new projects with the theme "Thank You". This amazing group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world, will help inspire you to create your own beautiful projects to show your appreciation for the people in your life.
Today I decided to create my card design with the Splendid Thoughts Bundle and coordinating Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. It's hard to believe that these products will be retiring next month, so I decided to show them some love before they disappear. One of my favorite things about these products is that they work well for occasions throughout the year and the gorgeous foil designs in the designer series paper help to create elegant project designs. I decided to combine the pretty foil design with the coordinating reverse side of the designer series paper to create this elegant Thank You card.
Products Used:
Splendid Thoughts Bundle (item #159677)
Go To Greetings stamp set (item #158763)
Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper (item #159666)
Fabulous Frames Dies (item #159163)
Calypso Coral Cardstock (item #122925)
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock (item #146988)
Soft Sea Foam Classic Ink Pad (item #147102)
Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154902)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels (item #158987)
Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (item #144108)
Measurements:
Calypso Coral Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Label die cut with the Fabulous Frames Dies
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
Two stamped & die cut stems using the Splendid Thoughts Bundle
Half Circle die cut with the Splendid Stems Dies
Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4" (non- foil side)
1 Detailed Framed die cut with the Fabulous Frames Dies (foil side)
1 Detailed Stem die cut with the Splendid Stems Dies (foil side)
4 Detailed Corners die cut with the Fabulous Frames Dies (foil side)
This elegant card design may look complicated but it is really quite simple to assemble. The great thing about this card design is that the detailed die cut pieces have been cut from the same sheet of designer series paper as the card front. I attached the four detailed corners to each of the corners of the card front and attached it to the Calypso card base. For the detailed frame, I attached it using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals on the top and bottom of the frame, centering it in the middle of the card front. To create the stems, I stamped the outline image twice and then stamped the coordinating leaves image to add depth and dimension, using Soft Sea Foam Classic ink. Note that the leaves image doesn't line up with the outline image, so don't worry about trying to get it perfectly aligned. I attached the Soft Sea Foam half circle die cut so that it lines up inside the bottom of the frame and attached it using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. I did trim about 1/4" off the bottom edge of the half circle for my design, but you can choose to use the full die cut if you wish. Once I die cut the leaves with the coordinating die, I attached them underneath the top of the half circle using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals behind several of the leaves. For the detailed stem, I added it on top of the Soft Sea Foam leaves, centering it to complete the design. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the Go To Greetings stamp set using Copper embossing powder to coordinate with the foil details. I added it to the card front using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, centering it on top of the frame and half circle. To complete the card design, I added several small Iridescent Pearls, that I colored with the Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Marker, to the sentiment label and card front for a touch of bling. This is not a color combination that I would normally choose to create with and I really love how it turned out. The great thing about Stampin' Up! designer series paper is that it provides you with a range of coordinating colors to help you create your own beautiful projects and takes the stress out of creating.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own wonderful Thank You cards to share with the people you care about. There are so many options to explore. Don't forget, the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog Last Chance List will be available December 1st and all retiring products will be available while supplies last.

Stamping Inkspiration November Blog Hop Clean & Simple Color Challenge

Welcome to the Stamping Inkspiration November Blog Hop as our Design Team takes part in a Clean & Simple Color Challenge. This month we have been challenged to create a Clean & Simple project featuring colors from this month's Color Challenge, including Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent. You will have the chance to visit with our talented Design Team members as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you.
Clean and simple is one of my favorite styles of card making and I had a lot of fun coming up with a color combination with the choice of greens for this color challenge. I chose to use Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Soft Sea Foam and added Basic White for my sentiment label. I love the way these colors work together to create a soft and soothing card design.
Products Used:
Nature's Prints Bundle (item #158801)
Fern 3D Embossing Folder (item #158804)
Evening Evergreen Cardstock (item #155574)
Soft Succulent Cardstock (item #155776)
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock (item #146988)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Evening Evergreen Classic Ink Pad (item #155576)
Evening Evergreen 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon (item #155573)
2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds (item #159185)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Evening Evergreen Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
2 Long Leaf Stems die cut with the Natural Prints Dies
Soft Succulent Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
3 small leaf clusters die cut with the Natural Prints Dies
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
Card Front - 5" x 3 3/4" Embossed with the Ferns 3D Embossing Folder
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with the Natural Prints Dies
This pretty clean and simple card is a wonderful blend of green tones and textures. I chose to emboss the Soft Sea Foam layer to give it soft texture for the background with the lovely Ferns 3D Embossing Folder. I die cut the detailed leaves and arranged them on the card front so that it would appear as though they were growing out of the top of the sentiment label. The Basic White sentiment adds a nice contrast to the layers of green and the Evening Evergreen Ribbon helps step up the design. I stamped the sentiment with Evening Evergreen Classic ink onto the Basic White label and popped it up over the ribbon and the bottom of the stems using Stampin' Dimensionals. To complete the card design, I added Evening Evergreen Opal Rounds to decorate the card front. This card design would work well for a variety of occasions just by changing the sentiment.

Stamping With Friends November Blog Hop CASEing A Demonstrator

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends November Blog Hop with our challenge to "CASE a Demonstrator". What is CASE? It stands for Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit, and is basically a great way to get inspiration when you are creating your own projects. Projects created by Stampin' Up! Demonstrators can provide you with amazing ideas to help spark your creativity. Visit with our Design Team members as they share their ideas and projects to help you get started.
The hardest part about today's blog hop project, was choosing which Stampin' Up! Demonstrator to CASE. There are so many wonderful, talented demonstrators from around the world that inspire me on a daily basis, and I could have chosen anyone of them for today's project. In the end, I discovered this beautiful Christmas card designed by Australian Demonstrator, Catherine Proctor, and I just knew it was the one I wanted to CASE for this blog hop. You can click here to see Catherine's original post.
For my card design, I chose to use the layout from the original card design to create a bright and cheerful Thank You card. For the colors, I used Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide and Sweet Sorbet from the 2022-2024 In Colors and I love the variety of patterns in the 2022-2024 In Colors 6"x6" Designer Series Paper that helps to add wonderful texture to the design. This beautiful clean and simple card would work well as a masculine Thank You Card to show your appreciation.
Products Used:
Wildlife Wonder stamp set (item #157923)
Amazing Thanks Dies (item #157816)
Stitched Rectangles Dies (item #151820)
Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (item #154317)
2022-2024 In Colors 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #159253)
Sweet Sorbet Cardstock (item #159268)
Starry Sky Cardstock (item #159263)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Sweet Sorbet Classic Ink Pad (item #159216)
2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots (item #159186)
Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (item #144108)
Measurements:
Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Thanks Outline die cut with the Amazing Thanks Dies
Starry Sky Cardstock
Detailed Thanks die cut with the Amazing Thanks Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4" Embossed with the Painted Textures 3D Embossing Folder
Sentiment Label die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies
2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper
3/4" x 4" - Orchid Oasis Polka Dot pattern
3/4" x 4" - Tahitian Tide Plaid Pattern
3/4" x 4" - Tahitian Tide Polka Dot Pattern
3/4" x 4" - Starry Sky Stripe Pattern
To create my version of Catherine's card, I chose to use three of the In Colors for the strips to create the background design. I love that the tone on tone patterns add subtle texture to the card front without being overwhelming. For the Basic White cardstock, I wanted to add more texture to the card front, so I embossed it using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I arranged the strips and adhered them to the card front in a staggered arrangement similar to the original card design. For the sentiment, I chose to use the Thanks die cuts using the Amazing Thanks Dies. The contrast between the Sweet Sorbet and Starry Sky layers really makes it pop against the card front background and coordinating with the Sweet Sorbet card base. The stamped sentiment from the Wildlife Wonder stamp set, was stamped with Sweet Sorbet Classic ink onto a Basic White Stitched Rectangle. I attached both sentiments using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to the card front to add some depth and dimension to the design. To finish off the design, I added some Sweet Sorbet and Orchid Oasis Matte Decorative Dots to the card front. I love how this card design turned out and how I was able to take the layout from Catherine's beautiful Christmas card and transform it into this wonderful thank you card.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to try CASEing as a way to spark your creativity and create your own beautiful projects. There are so many possibilities to explore.

New At SU November Blog Hop Gift Card Holders

Welcome to the New At SU November Blog Hop as we showcase Gift Card Holder ideas to help inspire you. Our Design Team members will be sharing their ideas and projects to help spark your creativity and help you create your own beautiful gift card holders to give to family and friends.
For my Gift Card Holder, I chose to create a simple design that is easy to duplicate. With the holidays approaching quickly, it helps to have a supply on hand in case you need a last minute gift for someone special. For my card design, I chose to use the cute Seal of Approval stamp set and paired it with one of the designs from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper. This Wintery themed card design would work well as a birthday card as well as for Christmas.
Products Used:
Seal of Approval stamp set (item #159762)
Stylish Shapes Dies (item #159183)
Give It A Whirl Dies (item #154336)
Essential Tag Punch (item #153607)

Pacific Point Classic Ink Pad (item #147098)
Smoky Slate Classic Ink Pad (item #147113)
Basic Gray Classic Ink Pad (item #149165)
Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #159224)
Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (item #141897)
Wonderful Snowflakes (item #156340)
Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Cotton Ribbon (item #159193)
Heart Pearls (item #159190)
Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (item #144108)
Mini Glue Dots (item #103683)
Tear & Tape Adhesive (item #154031)
Measurements:
Pacific Point Cardstock
Card Base - 4 1/4" x 11" (Scored at 5 1/2" & 9 1/4")
Balmy Blue Cardstock
Front Layer - 3 1/2" x 4"
Side Layer - 1 1/4" x 4"
Medium Circle die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper
Front Layer - 3 3/8" x 3 7/8"
Side Layer - 1 1/8" x 4"
Front Inside Flap Layer - 1 1/2" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Back Inside Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Front Inside Layer - 3 1/2" x 4"
Sentiment Layer die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Small seal & large seal, fussy cut with Paper Snips
Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
Small Heart die cut with the Give It A Whirl Dies
This cute Gift Card Holder is so much fun to create and works for a variety of occasions. The basic layout is simple to create by folding the score lines at 5 1/2" & 9 1/4" to create the front and inside flap for the gift card. I used the Essential Tag Punch to create an opening along the edge of the Pacific Point cardstock flap before sticking it down with Tear & Tape. This makes it easier to slide the gift card in and out of the flap. The layers are easy to assemble and help dress up the design to make it special. I used one of the Wonderful Snowflakes to decorate the card front, cutting it in half to go behind the top and bottom of the Stitched Circle. I stamped the large seal with Basic Gray Classic ink and the small seal with Smoky Slate and fussy cut them both out with Paper Snips. For the inside layer, I added the side panel to the inside large Basic White panel, along the right side. I added a piece of the Silver Metallic Edge Cotton Ribbon along the left edge of the Balmy Blued cardstock and added a faux bow to the center. I stamped the front and inside sentiments with Pacific Point Classic ink to coordinate with the card design. The heart on the front was die cut using the Give It A Whirl Dies and I colored the heart with Clear Wink of Stella to give it some shimmer. To embellish the sentiment, I colored two of the Heart Pearls with the Dark Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the sentiment label.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my gift card holder will inspire you to create your own wonderful projects, whether it's for the upcoming holidays or another special occasion.
