Around The World On Wednesday April Blog Hop Monochrome Rainbow Challenge

Welcome to the Around The World On Wednesday April Blog Hop and this month we have a very special Monochrome Rainbow Challenge. Each time zone has been assigned a different color of the rainbow and we have been challenged to create a monochromatic project with that color. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
The rainbow color for my time zone is yellow so I decided to use a combination of Bumblebee and So Saffron with Basic White to create my card design. For the background design, I chose to use one of the patterns from the Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152486). I loved the monochromatic floral design and it fit perfectly for this color challenge. The sentiment I chose is from the Happy Thoughts stamp set from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and I love the beautiful fonts in this stamp set.
Products Used:
Happy Thoughts stamp set (item #154507)
Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152486) - Retiring
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Bumblebee Cardstock (item #153077)
So Saffron Cardstock (item #105118)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Bumblebee Classic Ink Pad (item #153116)
Bumblebee 1/4" Ribbon (item #153622) - Retiring
2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots (item #152480) - Retiring
Measurements:
Bumblebee Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
So Saffron Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4 "
Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper
Card Front Layer - 5" x 3 3/4"
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
I love creating clean and simple card designs and with Stampin' Up!'s coordinating products, this card was easy to put together. To step up the design, I added the Bumblebee Enamel Dots to embellish the sentiment label and the Bumblebee Ribbon to add texture to the card design. I love how the Basic White sentiment label pops against the designer series paper. While I chose to create a Thinking Of You card, this card design would be beautiful with any of the other sentiments from the Happy Thoughts stamp set.
This color challenge really helped me to step outside my comfort zone. I don't normally use a lot of yellow in my projects, so creating a card design using just this color opened my eyes to new possibilities. The designer series paper worked wonderfully to add texture and depth to the background.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to explore creating with this theme and all the wonderful possibilities it has to offer. Whether you choose yellow as I did, or one of the other pretty colors of the rainbow, I think you will find it a fun challenge to take.

Stamping Inkspirations March Blog Hop Spring & Easter

Welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations March Blog Hop as we showcase projects for Spring and Easter. We hope that you will visit our blogs and be inspired by the wonderful ideas and projects that we have to share to get you ready for the new season and this special holiday.
It's snowing here in Colorado, so I thought I would share a fun Easter card featuring the Springtime Joy stamp set (item #154403) from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. What can I say, I am in love with this stamp set and the cute images that are perfect for Spring and Easter themed cards. I paired it with one of the designs from the Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152486) from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and I am finding myself drawn to this designer series paper more and more for Spring card designs. The result is a pretty clean and simple card design that is sure to brighten someone's day.
Products Used:
Springtime Joy stamp set (item #154403)
Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper
(item #152486)

Chick Dies (item #158199)
Bumblebee Cardstock (item #153077)

Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154894)
Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154889)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Bumblebee Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (scored at 4 1/4")
Swirled Circle die cut with Painted Labels Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with Painted Labels Dies
Stitched Circle die cut with Stitched Shapes Dies
Piece for stamped images from Springtime Joy stamp set, fussy cut with paper snips
Various colors cardstock scraps for eggs die cut with Chick Dies
This card was so much fun to create and I love the touch of whimsy the cute chick and basket add to this design. I stamped the images with Early Espresso Classic ink and colored them with Stampin' Blends Markers before fussy cutting them with Paper Snips. I layered the Stitched Circle die cut onto the center of the Bumblebee Swirled Circle die cut and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I attached the basket and chick to the Basic White circle with Stampin' Dimensionals and added three of the die cut Easter eggs to complete the design. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image onto Basic White cardstock with Gold embossing powder and die cut it with one the dies from the Painted Labels Dies. I attached it to the bottom right side of the card front to complete the design. I decided not to add any embellishments or ribbon, preferring to keep it clean and simple.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore creating your own beautiful projects for Spring and Easter. There are so many wonderful possibilities to try and you can mix and match different products to create your own unique designs.

Ink. Stamp. Share. March Showcase Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. March Showcase Blog Hop as we share what we creative projects we are working on. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to  help inspire you.
With the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog coming to an end May 3rd, I have been focusing on creating projects with the pretty designer series paper in this catalog and combining it with new products from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. For today's clean and simple card design, I chose the beautiful Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152486) and combined it with the Happy Thoughts stamp set (item #154507) to create this lovely Spring themed birthday card. I just love the sentiments in this stamp set and how well it works with this designer series paper. By combining the various sentiments in this stamp set with the wonderful patterns in the designer series paper, you can create beautiful cards for a variety of occasions.
Products used:
Happy Thoughts stamp set (item #154507)

Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Gold Foil Sheets (item #132622)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Gold Embossing Powder (item #109129)
Magenta Madness 1/4" Ribbon (item #153623)
2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots (item #152480)
Measurements:
Magenta Madness Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper
Card Front Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with Tasteful Labels Dies
Gold Foil Sheet

I love how simple this card design is to create and how the pretty designer series paper is the star of the show. By heat embossing the simply elegant sentiment with Gold embossing powder, it really steps up the design and coordinates with the Gold Foil banner to make it extra special. The Magenta Madness ribbon and Enamel Dots coordinate with the card base to tie everything together. I love that the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper coordinates with the 2020-2022 In Colors to make it easy to choose the right cardstock and  embellishments to create this card.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire to create your own beautiful cards using pretty designer series paper. It is a wonderful way to create clean and simple cards for a variety of occasions.

Ink. Stamp. Share. February Monthly Blog Hop Fancy Fold Cards

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. February Monthly Blog Hop as we showcase wonderful Fancy Fold cards to help inspire you. I hope you will take the time to hop along and visit the amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are participating in our blog hop as they share their ideas and projects to help spark your creative spirit.
Fancy Fold cards are a wonderful way to make the people you care about feel extra special. For my Fancy Fold card, I chose to create a Gate Fold card and I stepped it up by using the pretty Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152486) combined with Gold Foil and Gold Embossing for an elegant touch. I am not normally a yellow person, but I just love this gorgeous designer series paper and wanted it to be the showcase for this card.
Products Used:
Jar Of Flowers stamp set (item #152515)
Peaceful Moments stamp set (item #151595)
Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper
(item #152486)
Stitched Shapes Dies (item #152323)
Layering Ovals Dies (item #151771)
Thick Basic White Cardstock (item #159229)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Bumblebee Cardstock (item #153077)
Gold Foil Sheets (item #132622)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Gold Embossing Powder (item #109129)
Bumblebee 1/4" Ribbon (item #153622)
Measurements:
Basic White Thick Cardstock
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8")
Basic White Cardstock
Inside Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Oval die cut with Stitched Shapes Dies
Bumblebee Cardstock
Inside Layer - 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
Flowers For Every Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper
2 Pieces - 5 1/4" x 1 7/8"
Gold Foil
Scalloped Oval die cut with Layering Ovals Dies
This pretty Gate Fold card is simple to create and fits inside a regular medium sized envelope. The Bumblebee designer series paper really pops against the Basic White cardstock and I love how the Gold Foil frames the sentiment label. The Gold Embossing for the sentiment label and on the inside layer of the card adds a touch of elegance to the card. I used the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and I added the floral image from the Jar Of Flowers stamp set to the sentiment label and the inside of the card to coordinate with the designer series paper. The used a piece of the Bumblebee ribbon to keep the card closed and tied a bow next to the sentiment label as a decorative touch. This pretty Spring themed card would work for a variety of occasions.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my fancy fold card design inspires you to explore creating your own beautiful cards. There are so many wonderful possibilities to try.
