Stamping With Friends June Blog Hop Retiring January-June 2021 Mini Catalog

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends June Blog Hop as we showcase retiring products from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you and spark your creativity.
I love butterflies. For me, they are a sign of hope and I love creating cards using them to help brighten up someone's day. The Floating & Fluttering Bundle has wonderful images and coordinating dies and I love all the amazing possibilities this bundle has to offer. For today's card design, I paired this retiring bundle with the new Bark 3D Embossing Folder and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I love the texture of the embossed background and the pretty scallops on the sentiment label. This soft and pretty card design works well for a variety of occasions and I used just one of the beautiful sentiments from the Happy Thoughts stamp set, which is also retiring, to complete this lovely card.

Piece for stamped and die cut images using the Floating & Fluttering Bundle
This clean and simple card features heat embossing to help step up the design. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with Gold Embossing Powder for an elegant look. I heat embossed the stamped butterfly collage image with Black Embossing Powder to give the images a glossy look that helps make the colors pop. I colored the butterflies with Highland Heather, Balmy Blue and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Markers and I colored the leaves with Just Jade Stampin' Blends Markers. I snipped the images apart after die cutting so that each image was separate. The background was embossed with the new Bark 3D Embossing Folder and I love the wonderful texture it gives to the card design. To assemble the card, I added the card front to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals and added the sentiment label to the center of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to provide depth. I arranged the butterflies and leaves around the edges of the sentiment label, attaching the leaves underneath the label and the butterflies to the top of the label. To finish off the design, I added Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling. This card design would work well for a birthday card or even a Sympathy card. By changing the colors, you can create a card with a whole new look and feel. I love how these products combine together to help provide so many wonderful options.

Colour Combo June Blog Hop

Welcome to the Colour Combo June Blog Hop as we showcase projects created with this month's color challenge of Polished Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Poppy Parade. You will be visiting with amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
I love color combinations with bright, vibrant colors so I decided to create a clean and simple card with a black and white theme with a pop of color. For this card, I chose the Forever & Always stamp set, which is retiring from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, to create the background design and colored the images with Poppy Parade, Polished Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Markers. To step up the design, I chose to heat emboss the sentiment with Gold embossing powder, for an elegant touch.
Products Used:
Forever & Always stamp set (item #154343) Retiring
Happy Thoughts stamp set (item #154507) Retiring
Painted Labels Dies (item #151605)
Basic Black Cardstock (item #121045)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Memento Tuxedo Black Pad (item #132708)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154958)
Polished Pink Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155520)
Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154902)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Measurements:
Basic Black Cardstock
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Label die cut with Painted Labels Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Card Front - 4" x 5 1/4"
For this clean and simple card design, I stamped the flowers and leaves images onto the Basic White cardstock layer with Memento Tuxedo Black ink to create the background design. I colored the large flowers with Light and Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Markers and the small flowers were colored with Light Polished Pink and Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Markers. I love how bold and vibrant these colors look with the black and white background. For the leaves and the centers of the flowers, I colored them with Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends. For the sentiment, I die cut the label from Basic Black cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set with Gold embossing powder. I love the sentiments in this stamp set and I am so sad that it is retiring. I attached the sentiment label to the center of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore this wonderful color combination to create your own projects. Combining bold colors with black and white is a wonderful way to showcase them.

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights for the month of June. You will have the opportunity to visit with amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their beautiful Thank You cards to help inspire you to get creative.
Today I have created a clean and simple card design using the retiring Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. I love the gorgeous designs in this paper pack and the paper is really the star of the show. I paired it with the retiring Happy Thoughts stamp set, which has the most beautiful sentiments and fonts that work for a variety of occasions. This combination of products is a wonderful way to create beautiful Thank You cards to show people how much you appreciate them.

Stamping With Friends June Blog Hop Birthday Sketch Challenge

Welcome to the Stamping with Friends June Blog Hop Sketch Challenge as we showcase Birthday cards to help inspire you. Sketches are a wonderful way to help spark your creativity and provide you with a road map to help you with your design layout. Each of us have chosen our own sketch for this challenge to create a birthday card design. I hope you enjoy the projects we have to share.
The sketch I have chosen for today is one created by fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Dawn Griffith. She has a wonderful gallery of sketches here. I decided to use the retiring Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper with the retiring Happy Thoughts stamp set, to create my card design. Both of these products are from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and are available until June 30th or while supplies last. As you can see, I made changes to the sketch to come up with the finished design. The great thing about sketches is that it provides you with a basic road map and you can alter and change different elements to create your own version.
Products Used:
Happy Thoughts stamp set (item #154507) Retiring
Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (item #154558) Retiring
Layering Circles Dies (item #151770)
Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (item #154317)
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock (item #141416)
Petal Pink Cardstock (item #146985)
Merry Merlot Cardstock (item #146979)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (Copper, Gold Silver - item #155555)
White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (item #151326)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Panel - 2 3/4" X 4"
Petal Pink Cardstock
Card Front Layer - 5 1/4" x 4" Embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder
Merry Merlot Cardstock
Matte Layer - 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"
Scalloped Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper
Focal Panel - 2 1/2" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Oval Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon
3 Pieces - approx. 4 1/2" each
For this card design, I chose the colors from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. I wanted to add some texture to the background layer so I embossed it with the Textured Paint 3D Embossing Folder. Instead of using strips of cardstock, I decided to use the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and layered them on the Flirty Flamingo cardstock before adhering it to the background layer. For the focal layer, I liked the way the Merry Merlot cardstock made the designer series paper pop and it added a nice contrast to the card design. I added it onto the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals over the Flirty Flaming layer. To complete the card design, I heat embossed the sentiment onto the Basic White circle with Gold embossing powder and attached it to the Merry Merlot scalloped circle. I attached it to the bottom left corner of the card front.
Creating this card design was so much fun and I loved that the sketch took all the guess work out of designing the layout of my card. This sketch can work with a variety of products to create designs for all occasions. The Happy Thoughts stamp set has wonderful sentiments for a variety of occasions and I love the fonts in this set. When you combine it with the beautiful designs in the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper, you have the opportunity to create so many wonderful cards to send to friends and family.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my birthday card design will inspire you to explore the world of sketches to help you create your own amazing projects. Sketches are a wonderful way to break out of your creative comfort zone. Don't forget to check out the Last Chance Products Sale on retiring products from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.
