3D Paper Trimmer February Blog Hop Fun Fold Card

Welcome to the 3D Paper Trimmer February Blog Hop as we showcase Fun Fold card ideas to help inspire you. This blog hop features talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects.
It's hard to believe that today is the last day of Sale-a-bration. These past two months have gone by so quickly and I realized that I hadn't shared a project created with the beautiful Berry Blessings Bundle (item #157613), which is a Level 2 Sale-a-bration Reward that you can earn Free with a qualifying order (US$100). The combination of the beautiful Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper with the wonderful images and sentiments in the Berry Blessings stamp set are perfect for creating pretty projects for a variety of occasions. I love the simplicity of this Fun Fold card design and the way it showcases this bundle. It is easy to mail and fits in a regular medium size envelope.

This Fun Fold is simple to create and is easy to assemble with just a few supplies. I stamped the back Basic White cardstock layer and the inside card flap layer with the stamp images and sentiment from the Berry Blessings stamp set. I used Rich Razzleberry Classic ink for the sentiment and the outline image for the berries and used the 2nd Generation technique (stamping on a scrap piece once and then stamping onto the lined image to obtain a lighter color) to fill in the berries. I used Granny Apple Green Classic ink to stamp the stems for the berries. I then embossed the back layer of Basic White cardstock with the Subtle 3D Embossing folder to add subtle texture. I attached the stamped layer inside the card flap and added the designer series paper layer to the front of the card flap. For the front sentiment. I stamped the sentiment with Rich Razzleberry Classic ink onto the Stitched Circle die cut and layered it onto the Silver Foil Circle die cut. To embellish the sentiment, I colored three of the small Basic Pearls with the Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the bottom of the sentiment circle label. I decided not to add any ribbon or other embellishments but instead opted for the clean and simple look. This card design would work well with any of other beautiful designs in this designer series paper pack.

Colour Combo February Blog Hop

Welcome to the Colour Combo February Blog Hop as we share creative projects using Flirty Flamingo, Pacific Point and Soft Sea Foam. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas to help inspire you.
For my card design, I chose to use the Sale-a-bration stamp set, A Touch Of Ink, which is a Level 2 Reward that you can earn Free with a qualifying order. I just love the images in this stamp set and it has beautiful sentiments that make it perfect for creating wonderful cards. It's also a great stamp set for coloring and I used both the Stampin' Blends Markers and Classic ink with a Blender Pen to color the images.
Products Used:
A Touch Of Ink stamp set (item #155233)
Level 2 Sale-a-bration Reward
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Stitched Shapes Dies (item #152323)
Layering Squares Dies (item #151772)
Pacific Point Cardstock (item #111350)
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock (item #146988)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Pacific Point Classic Ink Pad (item #147098)
Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink Pad (item #147052)
Soft Sea Foam Classic Ink Pad (item #147102)
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad (item #132708)
Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154884)
Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154902)
Blender Pens (item #102845)
Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (item #141897)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Measurements:
Pacific Point Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (scored at 4 1/4")
Scalloped Square die cut with the Layering Squares Dies
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
Card Front Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Stitched Square die cut with the Stitched Shapes Dies
Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Small piece for stamped butterfly from the A Touch Of Ink stamp set, fussy cut
This card used the outline images for the flowers, leaves and the butterfly to create the card design. I stamped the background of the Soft Sea Foam cardstock with the leaves image using Soft Sea Foam Classic ink for a tone on tone look. For the square, I stamped the flowers and leaves with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Markers and then stamped the small dots image with Soft Sea Foam Classic ink to create a soft background. I layered the Basic White square onto the scalloped Pacific Point square to create a small border. For the butterfly image, I stamped it onto Basic White cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Pacific Point Classic ink and Flirty Flamingo Classic ink with a Blender Pen. I chose this method of coloring as there is no Pacific Point Stampin' Blends Markers and I wanted to try and create the same intensity of color by layering the ink with the Blender Pen. For the sentiment, I stamped the image with Pacific Point Classic ink onto a Basic White label die cut with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I added two small Basic Pearls that I colored with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Marker, for a touch of bling. Using the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, I colored over the flowers, leaves and the butterfly image to add a soft shimmer. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the sentiment label and the butterfly to the card front, with the butterfly's legs overlapping on top of the sentiment label.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to explore this wonderful color combination when creating your own beautiful projects.

Ink. Stamp. Share. February Showcase Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. February Showcase Blog Hop as we share the projects we are currently working on. You will have the opportunity to visit with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
Today I am sharing a sympathy card I created with products from the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog. I love the gorgeous Oh So Ombre 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #155225) and I paired a piece of the Blackberry Bliss paper with the images from the Corner Bouquet stamp set (item #155273) and the sentiment from the Heal Your Heart stamp set (item #155291). I love that you can earn each of these exclusive products free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration. They are so versatile and I have been having so much fun creating projects with them.
Products Used:

Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward
Corner Bouquet stamp set (item #155273)
Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward

Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154877)
Versamark Pad (item #1022873)
White Embossing Powder (item #109132)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (item #151326)
Measurements:
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Card Front - 5" x 3 3/4"
Basic White Cardstock
2 Layers - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Scrap piece for small Dragonflies punched using the Dragonflies Punch
Sympathy cards are never easy to create and I love that the beautiful images in Corner Bouquet stamp set have a serene feel to them that works well for this type of card. The font for the sentiments in the Heal Your Heart are so elegant and work beautifully with the Corner Bouquet stamp set to create a classically beautiful design with the pretty Blackberry Bliss Ombre Designer Series Paper. I heat embossed the sentiment and floral image with White Embossing Powder to step up the design and I added two of the small dragonflies to the card front that I colored with Clear Wink Of Stella for a touch of shimmer. The small Basic Pearls finish off the card design beautifully as accents for the small dragonflies. I colored a piece of Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with the Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends Marker and added it to the bottom of the card front as a contrast to the White embossing. For the inside of the card, I stamped the floral image twice in the bottom left and top right of the Basic White layer using Blackberry Bliss Classic ink to coordinate with the card front. I love the simplicity of this card design and I feel like it has a peaceful feel to it that is comforting.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to create your own beautiful cards. There are so many wonderful products to choose from in the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog.

New At SU February Blog Hop Sale-a-bration

It's time to hop along with the New At SU February Blog Hop as we showcase the amazing products in the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog.  You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their beautiful projects to help inspire you.
Sentiment stamp sets are often overlooked but to me they are one of the staples of collection. The Approaching Perfection stamp set (item #155282) has wonderful birthday sentiments that provide a little humor, especially as we get a little older. I love that these sentiments work for both masculine and feminine cards and I decided to create a masculine birthday card using this stamp set with the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper (item #155222). Both of these products are Level 1 Sale-a-bration Rewards that can be earned for free with a qualifying order, but only during Sale-a-bration. I hope that my card design will help you to see both of these products in a new way and showcase how versatile they really are.
Products Used:
Approaching Perfection stamp set (item #155282)
Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward
Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper (item #155222)
Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward
Handsomely Suited Bundle (item #156240)
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Night Of Navy Cardstock (item #100867)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Silver Foil Sheets (item #132178)
Night Of Navy Classic Ink Pad (item #147110)
Seaside Spray Classic Ink Pad (item #150085)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Silver Embossing Powder (item #109131)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Night Of Navy Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Strips die cut with Suit & Tie Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Inside Layer - 4" x 5 1/4"
Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper
Card Front Layer - 4" x 5 1/4"
Silver Foil Sheet
Small Buttons die cut with Suit & Tie Dies
At first glance, the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper seems more suited to feminine cards but if you take a look at the patterns on some of the papers, you will be surprised to find they work very well for masculine designs. The pattern I chose has a geometric almost abstract feel to it and I love the combination of blue tones. I chose to use Night Of Navy cardstock for the card base as well as for the sentiment label and accent strips. The Silver embossing really pops against the dark blue background and I love the humor in the sentiment from the Approaching Perfection stamp set. The Silver Foil buttons have wonderful detail and make a beautiful accent to the card design without being to sparkly. The stitched detail on the sentiment label ties in well with the stitched details of the strips that I used to decorate the card front. For the inside of the card design, I stamped the sentiment with Night of Navy Classic ink onto the Basic White cardstock layer and I stamped the candles image along the bottom using Seaside Spray and Night of Navy Classic inks, alternating them to create a pattern. To finish off the design, I stamped the bow tie image from the Handsomely Suited stamp set with Night of Navy, just about the Happy Birthday sentiment. This clean and simple card makes a wonderful masculine birthday card, especially if you have forgotten someone's special day.
This card design is a great layout for a variety of occasions and you can transform the look of the card by using any of the other beautiful designs in the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper pack and swapping the sentiment for something that suits the occasion.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will help to inspire you to explore the wonderful products in the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog that you can earn for free with a qualifying order. Sale-a-bration ends February 28th, so now is the perfect time to place an order to earn your favorite product for free.
