PPP February Blog Hop Bouquet Of Hope

It's time to hop along with the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities (aka PPP) February Blog Hop as we share alternative projects featuring the Bouquet of Hope Kit. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas to help you think outside the box with this beautiful Paper Pumpkin Kit.
Today I have two different card designs to share with you. One uses products from the kit, including the floral image and sentiments from the exclusive stamp set while the other combines one of the designs from the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (item #155223) with the Healing Hugs stamp set (item #148223) from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. This beautiful paper is a Level 1 Reward you can earn Free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration, which ends February 28th. It coordinates beautifully with this kit and offers a variety of designs to choose from.
Products Used:

Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward
Healing Hugs stamp set (item #148223)
Layering Ovals Dies (item #151771)
Just Jade Cardstock (item #153079)
Merry Merlot Cardstock (item #146979)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Gold Embossing Powder (item #109129)
Measurements:
Card 1
Merry Merlot Floral Card Base from kit
Gold Foil Doily
Merry Merlot Cardstock for Oval die cut with Layering Ovals Dies
Sentiment Label from kit
Small Floral die cut from kit
Card 2
Just Jade Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Flower & Field Designer Series Paper Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Large Floral die cut from kit
Sentiment Label from kit
Both of these cards are simple to create and I added heat embossing to both to step up the designs. For the first card, I heat embossed the floral image from the stamp set with Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Merry Merlot cardstock and die cut it with the Layering Ovals Dies. I attached it to the Gold Foil doily from the kit and added it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I heat embossed the sentiment onto the label with Gold Embossing Powder and added it across the bottom of the oval with Stampin' Dimensionals. To embellish the card I added one of the small floral die cuts to the sentiment label and two of the small Black sequins. For the second card, I used a piece of Just Jade cardstock for the card base and added a layer of the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper for the card front. I added the large floral die cut from the kit to the top of the card front, at an angle, using Stampin' Dimensionals. For the sentiment, I used one of the images from the Healing Hugs stamp set, heat embossing it with Gold Embossing Powder onto the sentiment label from the kit. I added the Mossy Meadow Bakers twine to the back of the sentiment label, creating two big loops. I added it to the card front towards the bottom with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the design, I added three of the Black sequins for a touch of bling. I love that the designer series paper gives this card design a more cheerful feel that is perfect for a Get Well card.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card designs will help inspire you to explore creating your own alternative projects using this wonderful kit. These beautiful cards can be used for a variety of occasions to help brighten someone's day.

ICS February Blog Hop My Favorite Sale-a-bration Product

Welcome to the ICS February Blog Hop as we showcase projects created with products from the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas to help inspire you.
One of my favorite products in the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog is the beautiful Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (item #155223) which is a Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward that you can earn with a qualifying US$50 order. There are so many amazing designs in this paper pack and I love the way the bright colors pop against the black background. I paired this pretty paper with the Party Punch Host stamp set, which is an exclusive stamp set that you can earn free when you host a party with US$300 in sales or place an order of US$300. The images in this stamp set coordinate with several of Stampin' Up!'s punches but you can also use them with some of the dies that Stampin' Up! has to offer to provide even more versatility.

Flower & Field Designer Series Paper
Card Front Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Decorative Strip - 1/4" x 4"
This clean and simple card design is a wonderful way to showcase this beautiful paper. From one 12"x12" sheet, you can get 6 card fronts plus the decorative strips to decorate the inside of the card. I used the Layering Ovals to create the label for the sentiment and heat embossed the image from the Punch Party stamp set with Silver Embossing Powder for an elegant touch. The small Basic Rhinestone Jewels add a touch of bling that finishes off the design. For the inside panel, I stamped the birthday sentiment with Just Jade Classic ink and added the strip of designer series paper across the bottom to coordinate it with the front of the card. With this combination of beautiful paper and the sentiments in the Punch Party stamp set, you can create wonderful cards for a variety of occasions, quickly and simply.

Around The World On Wednesday January Blog Hop Favorite Inspiration

It's time to start the New Year off with the Around The World On Wednesday Blog Hop and this month our theme is our Favorite Inspiration. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas that reflect their sources of creative inspiration.
I am often inspired by the things I see around me every day. It can be a scene I see outside or colors of clothing in a store. Sometimes it is the pattern in a fabric, such as the mask I got for Christmas recently. It was this particular source of inspiration that I chose to use today to create my card design. As soon as I saw the pattern on my mask, I immediately connected it with one of the designs in the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (item #155223), which is one of the Level 1 Rewards that you can earn for Free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration. As you can see in the photo above, they coordinate beautifully.
The colors in the designer series paper are remarkably similar to the colors in the design of my mask, and I used these colors to create my card design. I chose to use Basic Black, Granny Apple Green and White with a touch of Daffodil Delight and Gold as accents. I love the way the Granny Apple Green brings out the colors in the designer series paper and how it pops against the Basic Black background. I used the Medium Daisy Punch to create the embellishment to tie in with the background and I colored the center of the daisy with Pool Party Classic Ink so that it looked similar to the background daisies. The center of the daisy was created using a flower die cut with the Hippo & Friends Dies from Daffodil Delight cardstock. I applied the color to the daisy using a Sponge Dauber to give it a soft hint of blue. For a touch of shimmer, I added Clear Wink of Stella to the petals and the center of the daisy.

This beautiful clean and simple card is perfect for a variety of occasions. I chose to create a birthday card using the Approaching Perfection stamp set (item #155282) which is also a Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward that you can earn Free with a qualifying order. I love the fun sentiments in this stamp set and I chose to heat emboss the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder for a touch of elegance. I decided not to add any bling or ribbon but instead let the designer series paper be the star of this design. I love that the inspiration I got from my mask, led me to create this simply beautiful card that I can send to brighten someone's day.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design and inspiration source will help inspire you to look at the world around you in a way that will spark your creativity. You will be amazed at all the possibilities.

We Create January Blog Hop Crisp Creases

Happy New Year everyone. Welcome to the We Create January Blog Hop, our first for 2021. This month our theme is Crisp Creases as we showcase projects that show how you can score and fold paper to add texture or create movement.
Fun Fold cards are a great way to take an ordinary card design and step it up a little. For today's card design, I chose to use the new You Are Amazing stamp set (item #154534) from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and I paired it with the Beautiful Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (item #155223) from the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog. Both of these new products will be available tor order beginning January 5th. I love the combination of Basic Black with the bright colors in the designer series paper and it is amazing what a difference two 1" strips of pretty paper can make to a card design.
Products Used:
You Are Amazing stamp set (item #154534) Coming Soon in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog
Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (item #155223) Coming Soon in the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog
Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (item #152725)
Small Bloom Punch (item #152316)
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Basic Black Cardstock (item #121045)
Whisper White Cardstock (item #100730)
Just Jade Cardstock (item #153079)
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock (item #141416)
Petal Pink Cardstock (item #146985)
Pool Party Cardstock (item #122924)
Just Jade Classic Ink Pad (item #153115)
Silver Foil Sheets (item #132178)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Silver Embossing Powder (item #109131)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Measurements:
Basic Black Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 1 1/4" and 1 1/4")
Just Jade Cardstock Front Layer - 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" Embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder
Flower & Field Designer Series Paper - 2 Strips 1" x 5 1/4" (2 different patterns)
Whisper White Cardstock
- Inside Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
- Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Silver Foil Sheet - For Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo & Pool Party Cardstock - Punch one flower from each color with the Small Bloom Punch and emboss with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder
This clean and simple design is simple to assemble and is easy to duplicate to create a wide variety of designs. Starting with a standard card base, I scored the 8 1/2" side at 1 1/4" and 4 1/4" and burnished them with a Bone Folder to create a small flap on the front of the card and fold for the card front. I attached the embossed Just Jade cardstock layer to the front of card and added one of the designer series strips to the front flap. For the inside of the card, I attached the second designer series paper strip to the Whisper White cardstock layer, on the right side and then attached the layer inside the card. To create the sentiment label, I heat embossed the sentiment from the You Are Amazing stamp set onto the Whisper White die cut Label and attached it to the Silver Foil Label. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, I attached the sentiment label to the center of the small front flap, centering the label on the front of the card. Make sure that the Stampin' Dimensionals only attach to the small flap so that the card can open and close freely. To complete the sentiment label, add the three flowers using Stampin' Dimensionals and embellish with large Basic Rhinestone Jewels. To complete the card, I stamped the inside sentiment with Just Jade Classic Ink onto the Whisper White cardstock layer so that it is hidden behind the card front. This wonderful fun fold design folds flat to fit inside a standard size envelope and looks great standing up to display the wonderful design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore creating your own fun fold cards. It's a great way to add texture, dimension and movement to your projects. With all the amazing new products coming soon in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog, you will have so many wonderful options to choose from.
