Ink. Stamp. Share. December Special Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. December Special Blog Hop as we share projects we are currently working on. You will have the opportunity to visit with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share wonderful projects and ideas to help inspire you.
Recently I have been working with new products from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog that launches January 5th, 2021. The card I have designed is for a swap and it features the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and coordinating Dandy Garden 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper. I love the monochromatic look of this card and how it showcases the versatility of these products. The heat embossing is a wonderful way to step up a card design and I love the way the white embossing pops against the Mossy Meadow cardstock.
Products Used:
Dragonfly Garden stamp set
Dandy Garden 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
Mossy Meadow Cardstock
Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
White Embossing Powder
Basic Pearls
Stampin' Dimensionals
Stampin' Seal
Pear Pizzazz Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
(Scored at 4 1/4")
Mossy Meadow Cardstock Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Pear Pizzazz Cardstock - 3 Squares 1 1/4" x 1 1/4"
Dandy Garden 6"x6" Designer Series Paper - 3 Squares 1" x 1" (3 different designs)
This card design is simple to create and the white embossing adds that Wow factor without a lot of fuss. The squares are a great way to showcase the designs of this designer series paper and add dimension to the card. I kept the embellishment to a minimum by adding small Basic Pearls to the three largest embossed dragonflies in the top right corner. They coordinated beautifully with the green and white color combination without being over the top.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that you enjoy my card design and I hope it gets you excited about the new January-June 2020 Mini Catalog and 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog that will launch to customers beginning January 5th, 2021.
