Stamping Inkspirations June Blog Hop Shades of Blue Color Challenge

Welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations June Blog Hop and this month we have a Color Challenge using Shades of Blue. Blue is my favorite color, so I am so excited about this month's theme and the chance to share some of Stampin' Up!'s beautiful colors with you all. Our talented Design Team will be sharing their own amazing projects and ideas to help inspire you to explore the many beautiful blues that Stampin' Up! has to offer.
I was so happy when the new 2022-2024 In Colors came out last month, as there are three beautiful new blues included that make my heart happy. I chose to use these colors - Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky for my clean and simple card design and I love how these pretty colors work together. I chose the Hydrangea Haven stamp set to create my background design and the Celebrating You stamp set for the sentiment.
Products Used:
Hydrangea Haven stamp set (item #158210)
Celebrating You stamp set (item #158028)
Stylish Shapes Dies (item #159183)
Starry Sky Cardstock (item #159263)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Starry Sky Classic Ink Pad (item #159212)
Orchid Oasis Classic Ink Pad (item #159214)
Tahitian Tide Classic Ink Pad (item #159210)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Blender Pen (item #102845)
Measurements:
Starry Sky Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Label die cut with Stylish Shapes Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers and I thought they would be perfect for this Shades of Blue card design. I stamped the outline images with Starry Sky Classic ink onto Basic White cardstock. I used Tahitian Tide Classic ink to stamp the background solid image for the large floral clusters and I used Orchid Oasis Classic ink, stamped off once, to stamp the solid smaller floral background images. For the leaves, I used a Blender Pen to gently blend the ink from the stamped Starry Sky outline images, to create a soft look to the leaves. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the Celebrating You stamp set with White embossing powder and die cut the label with the Stylish Shapes Dies. I trimmed off the left side of the banner label and adhered it to the right side of the card front. To finish off the card design, I added small Basic Pearls to the centers of the single flowers to step up the card design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own wonderful projects with the beautiful blues that Stampin' Up! has to offer. There are so many wonderful coordinating products to choose from to help make your crafting experience enjoyable and stress-free.

Around The World On Wednesday June Blog Hop Let's Hear It For The Boys

Welcome to the Around The World On Wednesday June Blog Hop as we celebrate our theme "Let's Hear it for the Boys". Our talented Design Team members will be sharing their projects and ideas to  help inspire you to create your own wonderful projects for the boys in your life, whether they are young or young at heart.
For my card design, I decided to use a new bundle from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and combine it with a retiring product from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog to create a clean and simple masculine birthday card. I love the images and coordinating dies in the He's All That Bundle and they are perfect for creating amazing guy cards. I chose to use one of the large card bases from the retiring Heart & Home Memories & More Cards & Envelopes because I loved the blue and white stripe for the background to showcase my card design. For my color combination, I chose to use Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay, Basic White and Silver. I love how this card design turned out and it was a great way to use these card bases for masculine cards.
Products Used:
He's All That Bundle (item #159079) New
Stylish Shapes Dies (item #159183) New
Heart & Home Memories & More Cards & Envelopes
(item #157958) Retiring
Night Of Navy Cardstock (item #100867)
Bermuda Bay Cardstock (item #131197)
Silver Foil Specialty Pack (item #156457)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Classic Matte Dots (item #158146)
Baker's Twine Essentials Pack (item #155475)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Heart & Home Memories & More Cards & Envelopes - Large Blue & White Striped
Bermuda Bay Cardstock
Large Stitched Square die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Night Of Navy Cardstock
Focal image label die cut with the All That Dies
Small Banner die cut with the All That Dies
Silver Foil Specialty Pack (Mirrored Foil)
Small Banner die cut with the All That Dies
This clean and simple birthday card makes me think of driving around in my car with the radio turned up, singing along (usually off key) to my favorite songs. The Silver embossed focal image has a great classic car that was made for cruising and I just love the feeling this image gives to this card design. I layered the Night of Navy focal layer onto the Bermuda Bay Stitched Square to make it pop and add some color to the card design. I added it to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up and add dimension to the design. To embellish the card, I added some White Baker's Twine around the Bermuda Bay square and added the focal layer over the top with Stampin' Dimensionals. The Silver Foil and Night of Navy banners add a wonderful accent to the design and I added four of the White Classic Matte Dots to the corners of the Bermuda Bay square to complete the design. I love the fresh colors and clean lines of this card design and I think this masculine birthday card would work for guys of all ages.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help you to explore creating your own wonderful masculine projects for the guys in your life. Don't be afraid to mix and match different products to create your own unique designs.

Stamping With Friends Masculine Cards Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Masculine Card Blog Hop as we showcase projects to help inspire you to get creative for the men in your life. I often hear people say that they struggle to create masculine cards and don't know where to start. So take a trip along our blog hop and visit with our Design Team members as they share their ideas and projects to help spark your creativity.
One of the best suites in the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog for creating masculine cards, would have to be the He's The Man Suite Collection, found on pages 78-79. The products in this suite are perfectly coordinated to take all the stress out of creating projects for the men in your life. I love the variety of themes in this suite and it gives you so many options for creating cards for the Father's Day, birthday, retirement and so much more. I decided to create this simple fun fold to showcase the wonderful images and dies from the He's All That Bundle and the amazing He's The Man Designer Series Paper makes a wonderful background.
Products Used:
He's The Man Suite Collection (item #159083) New
- He's All That Bundle (item #159079)
- He's The Man Designer Series Paper (item #159068)
Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (item #159082)
Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (item #154317)
Early Espresso Cardstock (item #119686)
Cajun Craze Cardstock (item #119684)
Sahara Sand Cardstock (item #121043)
Gold Foil Sheets (item #132622)
Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad (item #147114)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Early Espresso Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 4"
Card Flap Base - 2 1/2" x 10 1/2" (Scored at 5 1/4")
Sentiment Label die cut with the All That Dies
2 Detailed accents die cut with the All That Dies
He's The Man Designer Series Paper
Card Background - 5 1/4" x 4"
Cajun Craze Cardstock
Flap Front Layer - 2 1/4" x 5" Embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder
Sahara Sand Cardstock
Inside Flap Layer - 2 1/4" x 5"
Gold Foil
Scalloped Circle die cut with the All That Dies
I love creating bold masculine cards with clean and simple designs. This suite makes it so easy to plan out and put together a wonderful card design without a lot of fuss. The colors I chose are from the designer series paper and include Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and Sahara Sand and I added Gold accents to step up the design. The flap is easy to create and I used the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the front layer without clashing with the background stripes of the designer series paper. I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold embossing powder onto a label die cut with the All That Dies and I embellished it with the Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to add some subtle bling. The Gold Foil scalloped circle coordinates with the embossing and adds a touch of classic elegance to the design. The detailed die cuts help finish off the design and the Early Espresso cardstock pops against the embossed Cajun Craze background. On the inside of the flap, I stamped the Father's Day sentiment with Early Espresso Classic ink onto the Sahara Sand cardstock layer. I think it makes a wonderful alternative to Basic White or Very Vanilla.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore the wonderful products that Stampin' Up! has to offer to help you create your own beautiful projects. Make sure to check out the amazing suites in the catalog as they make life so much easier with their coordinating products.

Global Stamping Friends June Blog Hop Bring In The New

Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends June Blog Hop as we Bring In The New to celebrate the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. We will be sharing our projects and ideas to help inspire you to explore the wonderful new products available in this catalog.
I decided that since Father's Day is just a few weeks away, I would focus on some of the amazing masculine products in the new catalog. The Vintage Tools stamp set grabbed my attention because both my husband and his father have a connection with carpentry and I love the vintage style of the images. I paired this stamp set with the Design A Daydream Host Designer Series Paper, which has a wide variety of designs that work well for masculine cards. I love how the Gold embossing steps up this card design without being over the top. This card design would work well for Father's Day or a masculine birthday card.
Products Used:
Vintage Tools stamp set (item #159098) New
He's All That Bundle (item #159079) New
Stylish Shapes Dies (item #159183) New
Design A Daydream Host Designer Series Paper (item #159161) Host Reward
Soft Suede Cardstock (item #115318)
Crumb Cake Cardstock (item #120953)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad (item #147114)
Crumb Cake Classic Ink Pad (item #147116)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Linen Thread (item #104199)
Brushed Metallic Dots (item #156506)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Soft Suede Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 7 1/4" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Large Stitched Square die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Sentiment Banner die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Embossed Banner die cut with the All That Dies
 Crumb Cake Cardstock
Medium Stitched Square die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 2 3/4"
Inside Strip - 5 1/4" x 1 1/4"
Basic White Cardstock
Inside Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
This simple fun fold card design is easy to create and assemble. For the designer series paper, I cut a piece that was 5 1/4" x 4" and then cut that piece into two separate pieces to create the card front and the inside panel. I attached the inside panel to the right side of the Basic White cardstock layer. I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso Classic ink and the nail image with Crumb Cake Classic ink to the bottom left corner and then adhered the layer to the inside of the card. For the card front, I stamped the image onto the Crumb Cake cardstock square with Early Espresso ink and then blended the ink slightly with a Blender Pen to add soft, subtle color to the image. I wrapped the Lined Thread around the Soft Suede square twice and tied a knot on the right side and then attached the Crumb Cake square on top with Stampin' Dimensionals. For the embossed banner, I heat embossed the stamp image from the He's All That stamp set with Gold embossing powder and die cut it with the coordinating die from the All That Dies. I attached the banner below the stamped image on the Crumb Cake square with Stampin' Seal adhesive. For the Stitched Banner, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Vintage Tools stamp set with Gold embossing powder and embellished it with two of the small Gold Brushed Metallic Dots. I attached both the square focal image and the sentiment banner to the card front flap with Stampin' Dimensionals, (on the left side only) so that the card swings freely. I love the way this clean and simple fun fold turned out and I think you could create a variety of designs with these supplies.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to get creative with the wonderful new products in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. There are so many wonderful possibilities to explore.

We Create June Blog Hop My New Favorite Things

It's time to celebrate a new month with the We Create June Blog Hop and this month we are showcasing our Favorite New Things. With the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog in full swing, we have had a chance to get familiar with the amazing new products in this catalog and find our favorite new products. Our Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you to explore this wonderful catalog and discover your own favorite products.
Choosing a new favorite from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog has been a fun task and while there is one clear favorite, I also thought I would share some of the other products that are high on my list. My absolute must have from this catalog would have to be the Stylish Shapes Dies. I find myself using them all the time and have become a must have in my creative collection. Coming in a close second would have to be the new 2022-2024 In Colors and I love that there are so many coordinating products in this catalog that make it easier to plan my projects. For this card design, I also chose the Nature's Prints Bundle, another one of my go-to products that works well for a variety of occasions. The card design I chose to create is a wonderful combination of these products and they can be used in a variety of ways to create so many beautiful designs.
Products Used:
Nature's Bundle (item #158801) New
Stylish Shapes Bundles (item #159183) New
Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper (item #159245) New
Lovely Layers 3 3/4" x 5" Vellum (item #158919) New

Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554)
Pearl Basic Jewels (item #144219)
Baker's Twine Essentials Pack (item #155475)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Stitched Circle die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Calypso Coral Cardstock
Two large stems die cut with the Natural Prints Dies (Bundle)
Petal Pink Cardstock
Three small stems die cut with the Natural Prints Dies (Bundle)
Lovely Layers Vellum
Stitched Square die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
This beautiful card is all about delicate layers and coordinating colors. I chose my color combination of Sweet Sorbet, Calypso Coral, Petal Pink and Basic White from the colors in the Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper I chose for the background. This beautiful paper also coordinates with the Nature's Prints Bundle and I die cut the detailed stems using the coordinating dies to add texture and layers to the design. The softness of the vellum provides a wonderful frame around the sentiment label and I love the stitched detail on the die cuts. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with White Embossing Powder for a touch of elegance. To finish off the card design, I embellished the label with Basic Pearls and added a bow tied with White Baker's Twine.  This card design can be created using any of the beautiful designs in this pretty paper pack with the coordinating colors listed.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore the amazing new products in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and discover your own new favorites. If you are like me, it will be hard to pick just one favorite.
