Welcome to the Colour Combo June Blog Hop as we showcase projects created with this month's color challenge of Polished Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Poppy Parade. You will be visiting with amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
I love color combinations with bright, vibrant colors so I decided to create a clean and simple card with a black and white theme with a pop of color. For this card, I chose the Forever & Always stamp set, which is retiring from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, to create the background design and colored the images with Poppy Parade, Polished Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Markers. To step up the design, I chose to heat emboss the sentiment with Gold embossing powder, for an elegant touch.

For this clean and simple card design, I stamped the flowers and leaves images onto the Basic White cardstock layer with Memento Tuxedo Black ink to create the background design. I colored the large flowers with Light and Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Markers and the small flowers were colored with Light Polished Pink and Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Markers. I love how bold and vibrant these colors look with the black and white background. For the leaves and the centers of the flowers, I colored them with Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends. For the sentiment, I die cut the label from Basic Black cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set with Gold embossing powder. I love the sentiments in this stamp set and I am so sad that it is retiring. I attached the sentiment label to the center of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up.
