Stamping Inkspirations October Blog Hop Harvest Time

Welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations October Blog Hop as we showcase projects with the theme "Harvest Time". As the days get shorter and cooler and the leaves change color, it makes me think of warm Fall colors and wonderful natural textures that come with this wonderful season. Join us on our blog hop as we share our projects and ideas to help inspire you to embrace this theme in your own creative projects.
The Harvest Meadow Suite has so many wonderful products for creating beautiful Fall projects. For my card design, I chose to use the Nature's Harvest Bundle with the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper to create this peaceful Get Well card. I added texture to the background of the circle die cut with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and I added several of the Gold Dots from the Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots that are also in this wonderful suite. I love the way these products coordinate to take the stress out of creating.

This beautiful card has all the elements that remind me of Harvest Time and Fall. The wheat patterned background of the designer series paper makes me think of the farms near where I grew up and the colors I chose are warm and comforting, just like I would feel bundled up against the cold on a crisp Fall day. I love that the Harvest Meadow Suite provided me with the products I needed to create this card design. I stamped the images and sentiment with Early Espresso Classic ink to coordinate with the card base. I used Gold embossing powder to distress the embossed background of the Early Espresso circle to create texture and to bring out the detail in the embossing. The Gold dots were the perfect finishing touch for this card design. I would like to think that this card would bring comfort to the person receiving it and help them on the road to recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore the wonderful colors and textures associated with Fall to help you create your own beautiful projects.

Ink. Stamp. Share. July Showcase Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share July Showcase Blog Hop as we showcase the projects we are currently working on. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you to get creative.
One of the things I love about a new catalog, is participating in catalog swaps. It is where you swap card designs with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and in return you get a bunch of different cards that are great for providing inspiration and ideas for the demonstrators and their customers. The card design I am sharing today is a card I created for a New Catalog Card Swap I participated in recently. I chose to use the beautiful Hand-Penned Petals Bundle and combined it with the lovely Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder to create this pretty clean and simple card design. I was inspired by a card design that I saw on Lyssa Zwolanek's blog and I made changes to create my own design. I chose to use several of the new 2021-2023 In Colors including Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.
Products Used:
Hand-Penned Petals Bundle (item #155492) New
Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder (item #155428) New
Ornate Frames Dies (item #150664)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Polished Pink Cardstock (item #155710) New
Evening Evergreen Cardstock (item #155574) New
Memento Tuxedo Black Pad (item #132708)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555) New
Polished Pink Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155520) New
Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155521) New
Evening Evergreen Stampin' Blends Combo Pack
(item #155517) New
Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154883)
Polished Pink 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon (item #155714) New
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Mini Glue Dots (item #103683)
Measurements:
Basic White Thick Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Basic White Cardstock
Focal Layer - 4 1/4" x 3"
Polished Pink Cardstock
Background Layer - 5 1/4" x 4" Embossed with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder
Evening Evergreen Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with the Ornate Frames Dies
Scalloped Edge Border die cut with the Penned Flowers Dies
I love the vibrant color combination I chose for this card design and the wonderful floral embossed background adds lovely texture to the design. I stamped the floral design with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the right side of the Basic White layer and colored the image with Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Markers. I attached the die cut scalloped edge border to the back of the focal layer and added it to the front of the card. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with Silver embossing powder and die cut it with one of the small dies from the Ornate Frames Dies. I attached it to the left side of the Basic White layer with Stampin' Dimensionals and colored two small Basic Pearls with the Light Evening Evergreen Stampin' Blend Marker to embellish the label. To finish off the card design, I tied a small knot with a piece of Polished Pink Open Weave ribbon and attached it to the stem of the flowers with a Mini Glue Dot.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own wonderful projects to share with family and friends. The new 2021-2023 In Colors work beautifully together and Stampin' Up! has a wonderful range of coordinating products to help take the stress out of creating.

PPP February Blog Hop Bouquet Of Hope

It's time to hop along with the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities (aka PPP) February Blog Hop as we share alternative projects featuring the Bouquet of Hope Kit. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas to help you think outside the box with this beautiful Paper Pumpkin Kit.
Today I have two different card designs to share with you. One uses products from the kit, including the floral image and sentiments from the exclusive stamp set while the other combines one of the designs from the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (item #155223) with the Healing Hugs stamp set (item #148223) from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. This beautiful paper is a Level 1 Reward you can earn Free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration, which ends February 28th. It coordinates beautifully with this kit and offers a variety of designs to choose from.
Products Used:
Paper Pumpkin February 2021 Kit Bouquet Of Hope
Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (item #155223)
Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward
Healing Hugs stamp set (item #148223)
Layering Ovals Dies (item #151771)
Just Jade Cardstock (item #153079)
Merry Merlot Cardstock (item #146979)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Gold Embossing Powder (item #109129)
Measurements:
Card 1
Merry Merlot Floral Card Base from kit
Gold Foil Doily
Merry Merlot Cardstock for Oval die cut with Layering Ovals Dies
Sentiment Label from kit
Small Floral die cut from kit
Card 2
Just Jade Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Flower & Field Designer Series Paper Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Large Floral die cut from kit
Sentiment Label from kit
Both of these cards are simple to create and I added heat embossing to both to step up the designs. For the first card, I heat embossed the floral image from the stamp set with Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Merry Merlot cardstock and die cut it with the Layering Ovals Dies. I attached it to the Gold Foil doily from the kit and added it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I heat embossed the sentiment onto the label with Gold Embossing Powder and added it across the bottom of the oval with Stampin' Dimensionals. To embellish the card I added one of the small floral die cuts to the sentiment label and two of the small Black sequins. For the second card, I used a piece of Just Jade cardstock for the card base and added a layer of the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper for the card front. I added the large floral die cut from the kit to the top of the card front, at an angle, using Stampin' Dimensionals. For the sentiment, I used one of the images from the Healing Hugs stamp set, heat embossing it with Gold Embossing Powder onto the sentiment label from the kit. I added the Mossy Meadow Bakers twine to the back of the sentiment label, creating two big loops. I added it to the card front towards the bottom with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the design, I added three of the Black sequins for a touch of bling. I love that the designer series paper gives this card design a more cheerful feel that is perfect for a Get Well card.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card designs will help inspire you to explore creating your own alternative projects using this wonderful kit. These beautiful cards can be used for a variety of occasions to help brighten someone's day.

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop April 2020

Welcome to Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop for the month of April. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as we share our creative projects to help inspire you.
My card design today features an old favorite from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. I chose to use the Flourishing Phrases stamp set with the Flourishing Dies (item #151769) to create this pretty Get Well card design. For my color palette, I chose Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Blushing Bride and Silver.
I chose Bermuda Bay cardstock for my card base and added a layer of Pool Party cardstock that I embossed using the Subtles 3D Embossing Folder to add texture. The die cut flourishes were die cut from Bermuda Bay cardstock and adhered to the card front. I die cut one of the large flowers and two of the small flowers from Blushing Bride cardstock and attached them to the card front with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. For a touch of bling, I added Clear Faceted Gems to the centers of the flowers.
The sentiment has been heat embossed using Silver Embossing Powder onto Whisper White cardstock and die cut using the Layering Circles Dies and layered onto a Silver Foil circle with a slightly larger circle die. I attached the sentiment to the center of the design with Stampin' Dimensionals.
As we all try to find our new normal with everything that is going on, I think that cards like this are important to send to people to let them know they are not alone. For me, creating cards brings me peace and helps me to get through each day. I hope that this card inspires you to create your own peace through creativity.
