Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights December 2021

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights for December as we showcase beautiful Thank You cards to help inspire you. Thank You cards are one of the most important cards you can send to the people in your life and we hope that our projects and ideas will help encourage you to create your wonderful cards. You will have the opportunity to visit with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world as the share their amazing Thank You cards.
One of my favorite ways to create pretty Thank You cards is with designer series paper. For today's card design, I chose to use one of the beautiful designs from the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I am so sad that this pretty paper is retiring, so I am making the most of the opportunity to showcase it while it's still available. I paired it with the coordinating Nature's Harvest stamp set, with one of my favorite techniques, Heat Embossing. I love the way the White embossing powder pops against the Misty Moonlight cardstock and coordinates with the pattern in the designer series paper. This wonderful clean and simple card design is perfect for creating multiple cards to have on hand in your stash, just waiting for that moment when you need a special Thank You card.

Focal Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
This pretty clean and simple card design is easy to assemble and requires just a few supplies to complete. The designer series paper card front provides a wonderful background for the card and helps make the Misty Moonlight labels stand out. I love how the White embossing steps up this card design and I used the Light Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends Marker to color a piece of the White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon to embellish the card. To finish off the design, I added three of the Opal Rounds for a touch of bling. There are so many beautiful designs in this pretty designer series paper pack that you could use to create your own wonderful Thank You cards, using this simple layout. I hope you will give it a try and create your own beautiful cards.

Stamping With Friends November Showcase Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends November Showcase Blog Hop as we share what projects we are currently working on to inspire you. You will be visiting with our Design Team Members as they share their wonderful projects and ideas to help spark your creativity.
Today I thought I would share a clean and simple card design created with products from the Harvest Meadow Suite in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. At this time of the year, we are often busy and trying to create cards for friends and family can be a challenge. I love that this card design is simple to create but has a simply Wow factor that makes it special. I chose to use the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper for the background and used the images from the Nature's Harvest stamp set to create the focal image and sentiment. The coordinating Harvest Dies has the perfect size die to create the sentiment label and I used the Layering Circles Dies for the focal design.
Products Used:
Nature's Harvest Bundle (item #156813)
Layering Circles Dies (item #151770)
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (item #156494)
Crumb Cake Cardstock (item #120953)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Crumb Cake Classic Ink Pad (item #147116)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Basics Embossing Powder (item #155554)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Crumb Cake Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Medium Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with Harvest Dies
This design would be great for creating multiple cards to add to your stash. Thank You cards are one the most common cards that we send out and using designer series paper for the background is a wonderful way to create beautiful cards quickly. I love heat embossing, so I embossed the floral image onto the Crumb Cake circle with White embossing powder. I love how it takes the design to the next level and the white embossing really pops against the Crumb Cake background. For the sentiment, I kept it simple by stamping the Thank You with Crumb Cake ink to create a reverse look to the focal image. I attached both the focal image and the sentiment to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop them up. For a touch of bling, I added some Basic Pearls to the card front to finish off the design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful cards to share with family and friends. There are so many wonderful products in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog to choose from to create wonderful projects.

Stamping With Friends Fall Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Fall Blog Hop as we showcase projects to help you celebrate this wonderful season. Whether you love the beautiful colors, the fun activities or the special holidays that we celebrate at this time of the year, there is something to inspire us all. You will have the opportunity to visit with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they showcase their wonderful ideas and projects to help inspire you.
I love the colors of Fall and how they combine to create warm, beautiful projects. For my Fall card design, I chose to use the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle paired with the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper, both from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I chose to heat emboss the images with Copper embossing powder to help step up the design. This card design would be wonderful as a Thanksgiving card to send to family and friends to let them know that you are thinking of them.
Products Used:
Pretty Pumpkins Bundle (item #156478)
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (item #156494)
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Cajun Craze Cardstock (item #119684)
Very Vanilla Cardstock (item #101650)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154897)
Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155519)
Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155521)
Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154882)
3/8" Diamond Weave Ribbon (item #156507)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Cajun Craze Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4"0
Matte Rectangle -  2 3/4" x 3 7/8"
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/2" x 4"
Very Vanilla Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Stamped and die cut pumpkin images using the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle
This pretty seasonal card showcases the beautiful colors of Fall using a piece of the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper for the background and Stampin' Blends Markers to color the pumpkin images. For the sentiment label, I heat embossed the sentiment in the top right corner and then heat embossed the border image towards the center of the bottom of the label. I also heat embossed the large pumpkins image onto a separate piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and die cut it with the coordinating dies. I love how Copper embossing looks with the Fall colors and how it steps up the design of this card. After coloring the images, I attached the pumpkins image to the sentiment label with Stampin' Dimensionals, so that it overlaps the stamped border image. I added a piece of the Diamond Weave Ribbon to the center of the card front to add some texture to the design. To help make the sentiment label design pop, I added it to a layer of Cajun Craze cardstock and the attached it to the card front over the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals. I love how this card turned out and how these beautiful colors combined to create a warm and inviting Fall card.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful Fall projects to celebrate the season. Stampin' Up! has wonderful products to make creating easier and their coordination helps take the stress out of planning and making your own beautiful projects.

Stamping Inkspirations October Blog Hop Harvest Time

Welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations October Blog Hop as we showcase projects with the theme "Harvest Time". As the days get shorter and cooler and the leaves change color, it makes me think of warm Fall colors and wonderful natural textures that come with this wonderful season. Join us on our blog hop as we share our projects and ideas to help inspire you to embrace this theme in your own creative projects.
The Harvest Meadow Suite has so many wonderful products for creating beautiful Fall projects. For my card design, I chose to use the Nature's Harvest Bundle with the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper to create this peaceful Get Well card. I added texture to the background of the circle die cut with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and I added several of the Gold Dots from the Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots that are also in this wonderful suite. I love the way these products coordinate to take the stress out of creating.
Products Used:
Nature's Harvest Bundle (item #156813)
Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (item #156505)
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (item #156494)
Early Espresso Cardstock (item #119686)
Crumb Cake Cardstock (item #120953)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad (item #147114)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #1548881)
Old Olive Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154892)
Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (item #156506)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Early Espresso Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Large Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Crumb Cake Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with Harvest Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Stamped and die cut flower image using the Nature's Harvest Bundle
This beautiful card has all the elements that remind me of Harvest Time and Fall. The wheat patterned background of the designer series paper makes me think of the farms near where I grew up and the colors I chose are warm and comforting, just like I would feel bundled up against the cold on a crisp Fall day. I love that the Harvest Meadow Suite provided me with the products I needed to create this card design. I stamped the images and sentiment with Early Espresso Classic ink to coordinate with the card base. I used Gold embossing powder to distress the embossed background of the Early Espresso circle to create texture and to bring out the detail in the embossing. The Gold dots were the perfect finishing touch for this card design. I would like to think that this card would bring comfort to the person receiving it and help them on the road to recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore the wonderful colors and textures associated with Fall to help you create your own beautiful projects.

We Create October Blog Hop Haunts & Harvest

Welcome to the We Create October Blog Hop as we showcase projects with the theme of Haunts & Harvest. October is a wonderful month for celebrating our favorite Fall activities including Halloween. With the cooler weather and changing leaves, we think of pumpkin patches, corn mazes and sweater weather. You will be visiting with our talented design team members as they share their wonderful projects to help inspire you and get you in the mood for Fall.
When I think of Fall, it reminds me of the trips to the pumpkin patch with my family as we all hunt for that perfect pumpkin to carve ready for Halloween. We have a favorite farm that we enjoy visiting each year and they have a corn maze and farm animals that my kids enjoyed visiting. Now that they are older, the trips to the pumpkin patch are filled with nostalgia as they remember those fun childhood visits. For my card design today, I chose to use the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle paired with the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper, both from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. The colors I chose have a wonderful Fall feel to them and I added texture to my design with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
Products Used:
Pretty Pumpkins Bundle (item #156478)
Layering Circles Dies (item #151770)
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (item #156494)
Evening Evergreen Cardstock (item #155574)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Crumb Cake Classic Ink Pad (item #147116)
Memento Tuxedo Black Pad (item #132708)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154897)
Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155519)
Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155521)
Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154882)
Gold Fine Art Floral 3/8" Ribbon (item #154561)
Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (item #156506)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Evening Evergreen Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Scalloped Circle die cut with the Layering Circles Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Large Circle die cut with the Layering Circles Dies & embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
This clean and simple Fall card works well for many occasions and works well as a masculine card design. To add detail to the design, I embossed the Basic White cardstock circle with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and lightly sponged it using a Sponge Dauber with Crumb Cake ink to bring out the embossed detail. It adds a wonderful distressed look behind the pumpkins that I colored with Stampin' Blends Markers. The Gold Fine Art Ribbon adds a touch of sparkle to the design and coordinates with the Gold embossing of the sentiment and the Gold dots that I chose to embellish the card.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own amazing Fall projects with the wonderful products in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. There are so many great options to explore.
