PPP February Blog Hop Bouquet Of Hope

It's time to hop along with the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities (aka PPP) February Blog Hop as we share alternative projects featuring the Bouquet of Hope Kit. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas to help you think outside the box with this beautiful Paper Pumpkin Kit.
Today I have two different card designs to share with you. One uses products from the kit, including the floral image and sentiments from the exclusive stamp set while the other combines one of the designs from the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (item #155223) with the Healing Hugs stamp set (item #148223) from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. This beautiful paper is a Level 1 Reward you can earn Free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration, which ends February 28th. It coordinates beautifully with this kit and offers a variety of designs to choose from.
Products Used:

Just Jade Cardstock (item #153079)
Merry Merlot Cardstock (item #146979)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Gold Embossing Powder (item #109129)
Measurements:
Card 1
Merry Merlot Floral Card Base from kit
Gold Foil Doily
Merry Merlot Cardstock for Oval die cut with Layering Ovals Dies
Sentiment Label from kit
Small Floral die cut from kit
Card 2
Just Jade Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Flower & Field Designer Series Paper Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Large Floral die cut from kit
Sentiment Label from kit
Both of these cards are simple to create and I added heat embossing to both to step up the designs. For the first card, I heat embossed the floral image from the stamp set with Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Merry Merlot cardstock and die cut it with the Layering Ovals Dies. I attached it to the Gold Foil doily from the kit and added it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I heat embossed the sentiment onto the label with Gold Embossing Powder and added it across the bottom of the oval with Stampin' Dimensionals. To embellish the card I added one of the small floral die cuts to the sentiment label and two of the small Black sequins. For the second card, I used a piece of Just Jade cardstock for the card base and added a layer of the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper for the card front. I added the large floral die cut from the kit to the top of the card front, at an angle, using Stampin' Dimensionals. For the sentiment, I used one of the images from the Healing Hugs stamp set, heat embossing it with Gold Embossing Powder onto the sentiment label from the kit. I added the Mossy Meadow Bakers twine to the back of the sentiment label, creating two big loops. I added it to the card front towards the bottom with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the design, I added three of the Black sequins for a touch of bling. I love that the designer series paper gives this card design a more cheerful feel that is perfect for a Get Well card.

Colour Combo September Blog Hop

Welcome to the September Colour Combo Blog Hop. This month we have been challenged to use Garden Green, Gorgeous Grape and Old Olive to create our project. You may have just visited Cheryl's blog or perhaps you are starting here with me. I hope that you will enjoy our creations this month.

One of my favorite stamp sets from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog is the Healing Hugs stamp set. I just love the detail in the new Disinktive style stamps and I thought that this color combination would work well with the images in this set.

I chose Garden Green cardstock for my card base and layered a piece of Whisper White cardstock that I embossed using the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder onto the card base. I stamped the rose image with Gorgeous Grape Classic ink and the leaves with Old Olive Classic ink and then fussy cut the images. The images were attached to a large oval die cut from Whisper White cardstock using the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits, with Stampin' Dimensionals. I layered the oval over the top of a piece of Gorgeous Grape 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon that I attached around the center of the layer of Whisper White cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set with Gorgeous Grape Classic ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then punched it out using the Classic Label Punch and then layered it onto a piece of Garden Green cardstock also punched using the Classic Label punch and attached the sentiment to the card front with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card, I added small Basic Pearls colored with the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker to the embossed card front and added Clear Wink of Stella to the stamped rose and leaves images.
I hope that you have enjoyed the project that I have created with this month's colour combination and I hope that it inspires you to give it a try. Now it's time to visit Kimberley's blog and see what she has created this month. Just click the Next button below to visit her blog. I hope that you enjoy the rest of our blog hop.

Until Next Time.
Happy Stampin',

Colour Combo July Blog Hop

Welcome to July's Colour Combo Blog Hop as we explore this month's color combination of Balmy Blue, Night of Navy and Petal Pink. I hope you will enjoy your tour around our blog hop as you visit with demonstrators around the world, sharing their projects inspired by this color combination. You may have just visited Sue's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here. I hope that our creations will inspire you to experiment with these colors in your own projects.
For my card today, I decided to create a Get Well card using the new Healing Hugs stamp set, which features beautiful images and wonderful sentiments to cheer up someone when they are feeling down.

I started with Balmy Blue cardstock for my card base and added a layer of Night of Navy cardstock which I embossed with the Garden Trellis Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Next, I die cut an opening using one of the dies from the Stitched Seasons Framelits dies, a sneak peek of what will be available in August as part of the Color Your Season Promotion available for a limited time only.
The insert has also been die cut using the same die from Petal Pink cardstock and I stamped the rose image in the center and the leaves around the edge with Petal Pink Classic ink. I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold embossing powder and added Basic Pearls to embellish.

The Night of Navy cardstock layer is attached to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals and the Petal Pink cardstock insert is attached using Snail Adhesive. The die cut bow and floral embellishment were die cut from Gold Foil using detailed dies from the Stitched Seasons Framelits and attached using Snail adhesive. For the finishing touch, I added a Basic Pearl to the center of the flower die cut.
I hope you have enjoyed my project today and I hope that it has inspired you to try creating with this amazing color combination. It really is fun to step outside your comfort zone and explore new ways to create with color. Now it's time to visit Tracy's blog and see what she has created this month. Just click the Next button below to visit her blog. Please leave us a comment to let us know what you enjoyed about our projects. We appreciate your feedback.

Until Next Time.
