Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop September 2019

Welcome to Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for September and our last blog hop together as part of this wonderful year of training and sharing with my fellow demonstrators from around the world. This has been an amazing experience and I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and learn so much that has helped me grow as a demonstrator and as a person. I hope that you will enjoy our last blog hop together and be inspired by the amazing projects that we have to share with you all.

 My card design today features the beautiful Woven Threads Designer Series Paper (item #149497) from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. I love that the new 2019-2021 In Colors coordinate perfectly with the wonderful patterns in this paper pack and make it simple to create projects using these colors. The combination of Terracotta Tile and Seaside Spray made me think of how we are transitioning from Summer into Fall, I thought these colors worked well together. The Overlay Fun Fold is a wonderful card design that I discovered from fellow demonstrator, Susan Campfield, and I thought would work beautifully with this pretty paper. 
 The sheet of designer series paper that I chose from the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper pack predominantly features Seaside Spray with hints of Terracotta Tile. I chose to use Terracotta Tile cardstock for the base of my card to create a nice contrast.  To create my daisy, I stamped the images from the Daisy Lane stamp set (item #149325) on Whisper White cardstock using Seaside Spray Classic ink. I stamped the medium daisy image twice and then punched both of them out using the Medium Daisy Punch (item #149517) and layered them together with a Mini Glue Dot. I then stamped the large daisy image twice and punched them out using the Daisy Punch (item #143713) and layered them together with a Mini Glue Dot. To complete the daisy, I layered the medium daisy on top of the large daisy and attached them together with several Mini Glue Dots. It's a great way to help you with your stamping budget. 
For the inside panel of the card, I attached two 3/4"x4" strips of the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper to the sides of the 5 1/4"x4" Whisper White cardstock insert and then attached it to the inside of the card. This provides and area to write a message that will be hidden behind the front panel of the card.
 For the front of the card design, I attached a 3/4"x5 1/4" strip of the same designer series paper across the top of the Terracotta Tile card base, which has been cut to 5 1/4" x 5 1/2" and scored at 1" along the 5 1/4" side to create a small flap. I attached a 5" x4" piece of Terracotta Tile cardstock to the inside of the card flap using Tear & Tape Adhesive for added strength, lining up the bottom of the piece with the base of the back of the card base. For the design area, I added a 3"x3 3/4" Whisper White cardstock layer to the Terracotta Tile layer. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set (item #152729) with Copper Embossing Powder onto the Whisper White cardstock. 

I punched out two of the leaves from Pear Pizzazz cardstock using the Leaf Punch (item #144667) and attached them to the card front with Snail Adhesive so that the stems would be underneath the daisy. I also attached a piece of the Terracotta Tile 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon (item #149705) between the leaves so that it would stick out from underneath the daisy. To finish off the card, I attached the Seaside Spray daisy onto the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals, making sure to center it so that it the leaves and ribbon were visible. For a touch of bling, I added a Clear Faceted Gem (item $144142) to the center of the daisy and lightly brushed the petals with the Clear Wink of Stella for a touch of shimmer.

2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop Brides & Babies

Welcome to the 2019 Kre8tor's Blog Hop as we celebrate with projects for Brides and Babies. These special occasions can often be a challenge, so I hope the projects and ideas that we have to share with you today will help inspire you to create your own designs for that special occasion. 
Today I thought I would share a Wedding card design created using the beautiful new Feels Like Frost 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #150444) from the new 2019 Holiday Catalog. This simply gorgeous paper has photo realistic designs on one side and Silver Foil designs on the other. For today's card, I chose to use this pretty paper to create a classically elegant card design.
 I chose to use Seaside Spray cardstock to create the card base and added another layer of Seaside Spray cardstock that I embossed using the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder (item #150665) to create a delicate texture to the background. I added a 2" x 5 3/8" strip of the designer series paper to a layer of Whisper White cardstock and attached it to the card front with Snail adhesive. To embellish the card front, I took a piece of the Seaside Spray 1/4" Metallic Ribbon (item #150446) and attached it along the edge of the Whisper White cardstock. I then tied a bow with another piece of the ribbon and attached it with Mini Glue Dots.
For the label, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set (item #151407) using Shimmer White Embossing powder for a touch of sparkle, onto Seaside Spray cardstock. I die cut the label using the Frosted Bouquet Dies (item #151800) and die cut a piece of Silver Foil with the slightly larger die to create the matte for the sentiment. 
 I embellished the card front using several of the dies from the Frosted Bouquet Dies from Sparkle Glimmer Paper (item #146957) and attached them to the back of the label with Snail adhesive. I then attached the label to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card, I attached the card front to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals and added Basic Rhinestones to the sentiment label for a touch of bling. I really love how this beautiful paper transforms this Wedding card into something very special to commemorate a milestone event.

GSF Pick A Bundle Blog Hop

Welcome to the GSF Pick A Bundle Blog Hop as we feature Bundles from the new 2019 Holiday Catalog and 2019-2020 Annual Catalog to help provide you with ideas to create your own fun projects. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas to help inspire you.
 For my card design today, I thought I would share the wonderful Harvest Hellos Bundle (item #153037) which features the Harvest Hellos stamp set (item #150581) and coordinating Apple Builder Punch (item #150663). This bundle is great for creating Fall and Halloween projects and so much more. When you order the bundle you save 10%, which makes it very budget friendly. 
 Using this bundle I created a cute Halloween card design using Gorgeous Grape cardstock for the card base and I added a Basic Black cardstock frame that I die cut using the Stitched Rectangles Dies (item #148551) from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. I embossed the frame using the new Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (item #150646) from the Holiday Catalog to add some wonderful texture. I sponged the embossed surface with Delicata Silvery Shimmer Pigment ink (item #150709) to create a distressed look to the frame.
To create the Jack o lantern, I stamped the image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set using Pumpkin Pie Classic ink and colored the image with a variety of Stampin' Blends Markers. To stamp the face image, I used the Stamparatus to line up the image on the pumpkin and stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I punched out the image using the Apple Builder Punch and added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back. For the leaves and the stem, I stamped the leaves using Old Olive Classic ink and the stem with Crumb Cake Classic ink. Then I colored them images with the Stampin' Blends Markers and fussy cut them with Paper Snips. I attached these pieces to the pumpkin image using Snail Adhesive. 
For the background inside the frame, I chose a piece of the Purple Posy Gingham paper from the 2019-2021 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper Pack (item #149617), cut 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" and attached it to the card base with Snail Adhesive. I added the embossed Basic Black frame with Stampin' Dimensionals, making sure that the designer series paper was lined up inside the frame. For the sentiment, I stamped the image with Versamark ink onto Whisper White cardstock and heat embossed it using Shimmer Black Embossing powder (itme #149512) to add a little sparkle. I used the Ornate Frames Dies (item #150664) to cut out the sentiment with one of the label dies and I added it to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. For added sparkle, I used Clear Wink of Stella to color over the face of the Jack o lantern. This is a fun, colorful alternative for a Halloween card that is sure to make people smile.

We Create Metallics Blog Hop

It's time to hop along with the We Create Metallics Blog Hop this month as we explore all the wonderful metallic products that Stampin' Up! has to offer. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! demonstrators as they share their projects to help inspire you and provide you with ideas for your own creations.

 One of my favorite products to create with is the Silver Foil Edged Cards & Envelopes (item #147900) for creating simply elegant card designs. Today I paired this card base with a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock that I layered on top of the card base. 
 To create the focal design, I used the Magnolia Blooms Photopolymer stamp set (item #152729) from the Experience Creativity Brochure. I love the images in this stamp set and they look beautiful heat embossed with Silver embossing powder on the Blackberry Bliss cardstock.
For the sentiment, I stamped it with Versamark ink onto a scrap of Blackberry Bliss cardstock and heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment with one of the frames from the beautiful Ornate Frames Dies (item #150664) that will be available to order from the new 2019 Holiday Catalog beginning September 4th. I layered this piece onto a detailed frame that I die cut from Silver Foil, using another of the dies from the Ornate Frames Dies, with Stampin' Dimensionals. I attached the sentiment to the card front with Snail Adhesive. 
 I decorated the coordinating Silver Edged envelope by heat embossing the large floral image with Silver embossing powder, onto the bottom left corner.
