Colour Combo March Blog Hop

Welcome to the Colour Combo March Blog Hop as we are challenged to use Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry to create our projects. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as we share our ideas to help inspire you to explore this wonderful color combination.
Today I am sharing a fun birthday card design using the Hoot Hooray stamp set (item #149352) from the Experience Creativity Brochure. I love the simple images in this stamp set and the fact that they include the sentiment in one stamp.
To create this card design, I started with a Melon Mambo cardstock card base and added a layer of Crushed Curry cardstock as a matte to the Whisper White cardstock layer. I stamped the Whisper White cardstock with the stars stamp image using Crushed Curry Classic ink and then stamped the splatter design from the Painted Poppies stamp set (item #151599) using second generation stamping with Blushing Bride Classic ink. This means that I stamped off the image once after inking it up onto a scrap piece of paper before stamping it onto the Whisper White cardstock. This gave me a softer, lighter color that added color to the background without overwhelming the design.
The focal design was created by die cutting a tag using one of the dies from the Bonanza Dies (item #151566) from Whisper White cardstock and I stamped the image from the Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp set with Stazon Jet Black ink onto the tag. I colored the image using Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Markers and then added a touch of shimmer to the images with Clear Wink of Stella. I added a small piece of Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (item #146912) to the tag and tied it with a simple knot. I attached the tag to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up.
To finish off the card design, I colored in some of the stamped stars with Clear Wink of Stella and added a Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling. This card design would work well for girls of all ages and I really love the way the splatter adds a distressed look to the background.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own design using this color combination. There are so many possibilities with these beautiful colors.

We Create Metallics Blog Hop

It's time to hop along with the We Create Metallics Blog Hop this month as we explore all the wonderful metallic products that Stampin' Up! has to offer. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! demonstrators as they share their projects to help inspire you and provide you with ideas for your own creations.

One of my favorite products to create with is the Silver Foil Edged Cards & Envelopes (item #147900) for creating simply elegant card designs. Today I paired this card base with a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock that I layered on top of the card base.
To create the focal design, I used the Magnolia Blooms Photopolymer stamp set (item #152729) from the Experience Creativity Brochure. I love the images in this stamp set and they look beautiful heat embossed with Silver embossing powder on the Blackberry Bliss cardstock.
For the sentiment, I stamped it with Versamark ink onto a scrap of Blackberry Bliss cardstock and heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment with one of the frames from the beautiful Ornate Frames Dies (item #150664) that will be available to order from the new 2019 Holiday Catalog beginning September 4th. I layered this piece onto a detailed frame that I die cut from Silver Foil, using another of the dies from the Ornate Frames Dies, with Stampin' Dimensionals. I attached the sentiment to the card front with Snail Adhesive.
I decorated the coordinating Silver Edged envelope by heat embossing the large floral image with Silver embossing powder, onto the bottom left corner.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will inspire you to try using metallic products when creating your projects. It is a wonderful way to step up your designs. We Create Brights Blog Hop

Welcome to the We Create Brights Blog Hop as we share projects created using colors from the Brights Collection. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world as we share our creations to help inspire you to try new colors to create your own fun projects.
My card design today features a stamp set that is not in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. It is a new stamp set that can be found in the Experience Creativity Brochure that was created by Stampin' Up! to help new stampers get started. That being said, this stamp set is perfect for stampers of all skill levels and I just love how the images and sentiments work to create wonderful clean and simple card designs. The Hoot Hoot Hooray Cling stamp set (item #149352) can be found on page 12 of the brochure and the images are great for coloring with watercolor pencils, Stampin' Write Markers and even Stampin' Blends Markers, which is what I chose for today's project.
I chose Flirty Flamingo cardstock for my card base and I added a strip of the beautiful gingham Flirty Flamingo Designer Series Paper from the Brights 6"x6" Designer Series Paper Pack (item #149613) to a layer of Whisper White cardstock to create a pretty Summer card design. I die cut a Whisper White circle using the Layering Circle Dies (item #141705) and also die cut a scalloped circle from Daffodil Delight cardstock to create the matte for the focal design.
Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I stamped the image onto the Whisper White cardstock circle and colored the image using Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo, Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, and Light and Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Markers. I also used the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Marker to color three of the larger Basic Pearls to embellish the card front.

I assembled the card layers with Snail Adhesive and added the circle focal point to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. The colored pearls add just a touch of bling to a very simple and fun card. I love that the colors in the Brights Collection are perfect for creating cheerful cards that are sure to brighten someone's day.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to try creating your own projects using colors from the Brights Collection. If you live in the U.S. and do not already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to help you with your creative needs.
