Today I am sharing a fun, colorful birthday card that would be perfect for the kids in your life. It's been a while since I have played with the Dino Days stamp set (item #149406) and coordinating Dino Dies (item #149636) and I had forgotten how much fun they were to create with. I paired them with one of the designs from the Playing With Patterns 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152490) to create a card that would be great for either boys or girls. I am sorry to see these wonderful products from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog retire soon. They are great for making cards for kids to celebrate a variety of occasions.

The patterns in the Playing with Patterns 6"x6" Designer Series Paper are perfect for creating cards for kids. The bright cheerful colors and designs make great backgrounds for cards and work well for boys and girls of all ages. The colors I chose for the dinosaurs came from the colors in the background paper to coordinate. I love the way the sentiment pops against the Coastal Cabana cardstock with the White embossing. The happy birthday sentiment is just one of the great options from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and fit perfectly in the die cut label from the Tasteful Labels Dies. I love how the Purple Posy Resin Dots add a nice embellishment without being too over the top.

Today's card design features some of my favorite retiring products from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I love the Butterfly Gala stamp set (item #148580) and the coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch (item #148523) for creating Spring themed cards and I chose to use one of the designs from the Playing With Patterns 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152490) to create this pretty Thank You card. There were so many beautiful patterns to choose from that would work well with this stamp set and punch to create a variety of cards for all occasions.

This clean and simple card design works well for a variety of occasions and is easy to create. The stamp images in this stamp set are easy to line up and punch out and there are wonderful sentiments to choose from. I colored the large butterfly image with both the Light and Dark Calypso and Light and Dark Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Markers and for the two smaller butterflies I used just the Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. I added Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling and the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon adds a pretty soft touch to the design. These retiring products are only available while supplies last or until May 3rd, 2021, so now is the perfect time to order them and add them to your collection.

Today I thought I would share this pretty Easter card created with the Springtime Joy stamp set from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog paired with the Playing With Patterns 6"x6" Designer Series Paper. I love the soft shades of Purple Posy in the background design and thought it was perfect for a lovely Spring themed card. I used the Hippo & Friends Dies to create the label for the focal image and the sentiment to add interest to the design.

Small piece to stamp basket image from the Springtime Joy stamp set and fussy cut

This pretty Easter card features wonderful layers of purple to create depth and texture to the design. I stamped the lamb image onto the Basic White die cut with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the image with Stampin' Blends Markers, using the Color Lifter to soften the Smoky Slate used on the lamb. I stamped the basket image onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock and colored it with Stampin' Blends before cutting it out with Paper Snips. For the sentiment, I die cut the label from Highland Heather cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment with White Embossing Powder to coordinate with the card design. Using a piece of the Purple Posy striped ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack, I tied a bow and attached it to the top left corner of the focal image. I added a touch of sparkle to the lamb and basket images with Clear Wink of Stella to finish off the design. The Springtime Joy stamp set is a wonderful option for creating lovely Spring and Easter themed cards with a variety of images and sentiments to create cards for variety of occasions.

Lately I have been taking a trip down memory lane, creating projects with some old favorites from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. Today I have created a sweet clean and simple Thank You card featuring the Special Someone stamp set (item #151643) combined with the Playing With Patterns 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #152490). With Spring just around the corner, this stamp set and coordinating dies are perfect for creating fun cards for a variety of occasions.

The wonderful thing about this card layout is that you can create a variety of designs by changing the designer series paper background layer and images from the stamp set. I love that the stamp set has coordinating dies which fits the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. The two step stamp set makes it easy to color the images with the coordinating stamp image. The Whisper White Tulle Polka Dot Ribbon helps step up the design and I added Clear Wink of Stella to the stamped images for a touch of shimmer and sparkle. This card design is a wonderful way to brighten someone's day and let them know how much you appreciate them.
