Welcome to the 3D Paper Trimmer June Blog Hop with our theme "Box It Up". You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you to create your own fun 3D projects.
Today I decided to create a fun treat box to celebrate the upcoming 4th of July holiday. As we start to get back to a more normal way of life, I thought it would be fun to share these with family and friends. To create the focal star, I actually used the Christmas Trimmings Dies from the Tidings & Trimmings Bundle, using Misty Moonlight and Basic White cardstock and for the background, I used a piece of Real Red Designer Series Paper from the Regals 6"x6" Designer Series Paper. I love the way it gives the look of a picnic blanket and really helps to make the star pop. This cute treat box idea is from fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Angie Juda, and you can find the directions to create this box here on You Tube.

This box is easy to assemble by following the directions in the video and the opening flap at the top of the box provides a great way to fill this treat box with wonderful goodies. I love this color combination and it fits perfectly with the July 4th Independence Day holiday. I layered the detailed Basic White star on top of the large Misty Moonlight star to add detail and contrast and I love the way it pops against the Real Red designer series paper background. I used the smaller stars to embellish the tag and heat embossed the sentiment from the Nothing's Better Than stamp set with Silver embossing powder. For a touch of bling, I added Basic Rhinestones to finish off the design.
