Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you to think outside the box.
The backgrounds in the Expressions In Color Kit are beautiful and I wanted to convert the smaller note card into a full size card design. I love the way that the new Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen In Colors look together, so I chose to create a full size card with Soft Succulent cardstock and I cut the Evening Evergreen note card base in half along the fold line to create the matte for the pretty background layer. Most of the supplies I used for this card came from the Expressions In Color kit and I added Gold embossing powder for the stamped flower images to help step up the design.

This beautiful card design is a wonderful way to step up the note card in this kit to a full size card. For the focal layer, I stamped the floral image twice with Versamark ink and heat embossed the images with Gold embossing powder. To help the sentiment stand out against the decorative background, I used a Sponge Dauber and gently sponged Evening Evergreen Classic ink (from the ink spot in the kit) onto the back of the "Thanks" vellum sentiment. I attached the sentiment in the center of the decorative layer with the Mini Glue Dots from the kit. Using the Evening Evergreen Baker's Twine, I wrapped it around the bottom of the layer twice and tied a knot on the left side. I attached the layer to the Evening Evergreen layer and then attached it to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. For a touch of bling, I added three of the sequins to the card front to finish it off.
