Kylie's International Blog Highlight July 2019

Welcome to Kylie's International Blog Highlight for July and this month we are sharing projects to encourage the people around us. This month I decided to use the wonderful Daisy Lane Bundle (item #151118) to create this soft and pretty card design to help lift someone's spirits.
For my card design, I chose to use the color combination of Soft Sea Foam with the new In Color, Purple Posy, along with Very Vanilla. I love the natural, organic feel of these colors together. To add texture to the design, I embossed the Soft Sea Foam cardstock layer with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder (item #152321).
To create the focal image, I die cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using the Layering Ovals Dies (item #141706) and stamped the stem image using Mint Macaron Classic ink. I created a matte for the oval using one of the scalloped oval dies from Purple Posy cardstock, using the same die set.

To create the daisies, I stamped the medium size daisy image from the Daisy Lane Cling stamp set (item #149325) three times with Highland Heather Classic ink onto a strip of Purple Posy cardstock and punched them out using the Medium Daisy Punch (item #149517). I layered two of the daisies to create a fuller looking daisy and attached it to the Very Vanilla oval with a Stampin' Dimensional. With the remaining daisy, I cut it in half and then cut away one of the petals from one half so that they can layer to create a half daisy. Did you know that if you order both the stamp set and punch as a bundle, you can save 10%? It makes it very friendly for your budget.
To assemble the card, I added a piece of Purple Posy 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon (item #149706) across the center of the embossed Soft Sea Foam cardstock layer and then attached the layer to the Purple Posy cardstock card base. Next, I attached to layered oval image onto the card using Stampin' Dimensionals, centering it over the top of the ribbons. Using a Mini Stampin' Dimensional, I attached the half daisy to the card front so that it lines up with the top of the stamped stem image. To add a touch of sparkle, I lightly colored the petals of both daisies with Clear Wink of Stella and then added Gold Faceted Gems to the centers of the daisies.

To complete the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings Cling stamp set (item #151331) with Highland Heather Classic ink onto a scrap of very Vanilla cardstock and punched it out using the Classic Label Punch (item #141491). I then punch a second shape with the same punch from a scrap of Purple Posy cardstock and layered it behind the sentiment, slightly offsetting it on one end. I then attached it to the card front using Snail Adhesive, placing one end under the oval and lining it up underneath the ribbon.
