ICS March Blog Hop My Favorite Bundle

Welcome to the ICS March Blog Hop as we showcase our favorite bundles from Stampin' Up! There are so many wonderful bundles to choose from and our Design Team Members will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you and spark your creativity.
When I found out the theme for this month's hop, I was so excited because it coincided with the Savings Are In Bloom and one of my favorite bundles was a returning favorite as part of this promotion. The Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle has beautiful stamp image and sentiments as well as coordinating dies perfect for creating wonderful projects. With the terrible attacks on the Ukraine, I wanted to create a card to show support for the people of this amazing country and this bundle had just what I needed for my card design.

To create this card design, I wanted to use the retiring 2020-2022 In Colors. The patterns in the 6"x6" Designer Series Paper were perfect for stamping my images onto and die cutting them to create my design. For the sunflower, I stamped the image onto the Bumblebee Designer Series Paper using Cinnamon Cider Classic ink to create depth and definition to the design and then I die cut it with the coordinating die. For the leaves, I stamped two of the large leaves and two sets of the small leaves using Just Jade Classic ink onto the Just Jade Designer Series Paper and then die cut them with the coordinating dies. For the Gold Foil accents, I used the two long stemmed leaves dies to cut one of each and trimmed them to size. For the sentiment label, I used the Tasteful Labels Dies and heat embossed the sentiment with Gold embossing powder. To assemble the card, I adhered the Misty Moonlight Designer Series Paper layer to the Just Jade card base and added the sunflower using Stampin' Dimensionals towards the center of the card front. Next I added the Just Jade leaves to the bottom left and top right of the sunflower and then I added the Gold accents to the top left corner. For the sentiment, I cut the single stemmed Gold leaves into three pieces and attached them to the back of the label and added it to the bottom right corner of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. To complete the card design, I added two of the small Gilded Gems to the sentiment label and one large gem between the Gold leaf accents towards the top right corner of the card. I love how these colors look together and I feel like this design pays tribute to the people of Ukraine. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful projects. Kylie's International Blog Highlights July 2020

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights for July as we share projects and ideas to help inspire you. Our theme for this month is Thank You and we have talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world sharing their projects with you today.
One of my favorite bundles in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog is the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle (item #154065). One of the reasons why I love it so much, is that it is so versatile and you can change the look and feel of this bundle simply by changing the colors for you r project.
For this card design, I chose to use Rococo Rose cardstock for the card base and I added a layer of Soft Sea Foam cardstock for the background layer, that I embossed using the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder (item #153200). I love the texture that this embossing folder adds to the design.
I wanted my flower to look similar to a Gerbera Daisy, so I chose Blushing Bride cardstock for the background layer of the flower and I die cut the detailed layer from Rococo Rose cardstock using the Sunflowers Dies (item #152704). I punched a circle from So Saffron cardstock using the 1 1/2" Circle Punch (which fits perfectly behind the center of the detailed die cut) and I sponged it with So Saffron Classic ink. Using adhesive, I attached the sponged circle behind the center of the Rococo Rose detailed die cut. I attached Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the So Saffron circle and then lined up the two layers before attaching the So Saffron circle to the center of the Blushing Bride flower base. To create the leaves, I die cut two of the base leaves from Soft Sea Foam cardstock and two detailed leaves from Just Jade cardstock and layered them together with adhesive. I also die cut one of the detailed fern leaves from Just Jade cardstock.
The sentiment was created by heat embossing the image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (item #152517) onto a 3/4" strip of Very Vanilla cardstock using Gold Embossing Powder and then I used the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch (item #152883) to decorate the ends. To assemble the card, I attached the fern leaves to the back of the flower and then attached the flower to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I attached the leaves so that tucked underneath the flower on either side of the fern leaves. I attached the sentiment along the bottom of the card front so that the flower petals slightly overlapped the sentiment label. For a touch of bling, I added 3 of the Gilded Gems to the card front and used Clear Wink of Stella on the flower and leaves for a touch of shimmer to finish off the design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to create your own wonderful Thank You cards.

Ink. Stamp. Share June Special Blog Hop

It's time to hop along with the Ink. Stamp. Share June Special Blog Hop as we share projects and ideas to help inspire you. Our theme for this hop is Anything Goes, so you will get to see a wide range of project ideas as you visit the blogs of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world.
Today I am sharing a clean and simple Thank You card created with the new Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle (item #154065). Instead of coloring the flower image to look like a sunflower, I chose a different color combination to create the look of a Gerbera Daisy. I stamped the image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock using Soft Suede Classic ink. I colored the image using the So Saffron combo, Granny Apple Green combo and Flirty Flamingo combo of Stampin' Blends Markers. I die cut the image using the coordinating Sunflowers Dies.
For the card base, I chose Granny Apple Green cardstock and I added a layer of Whisper White cardstock that I embossed using the new Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (item #152718) to add subtle texture to the background. I die cut a layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock using the label dies from the Hippo & Friends Dies (item #153585) and a slightly smaller die cut from Whisper White cardstock using the same dies. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set with Gold embossing powder onto the Whisper White label, towards the center.
The ribbon embellishment was created by coloring a piece of Gold 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon (item #144146) with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Marker and folded it in half, securing it in place with a Mini Glue Dot. I attached it to the back of the Granny Apple Green label die cut with another Mini Glue Dot, towards the bottom right side.
To assemble the card, I attached the embossed Whisper White cardstock layer to the card base and then added the sentiment label to the center of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added the die cut flower to the top left corner of the label with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals so that the flower overlapped the top of the label. For a touch of shimmer, I added Clear Wink of Stella to the flower and leaves, to finish off the design. I love how this flower image was transformed from a sunflower to a daisy by using a different color combination. It opens up so many wonderful possibilities for this bundle.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will encourage you to explore the wonderful new products in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. There is such a wide variety to choose from to help you create projects for all occasions.
