New At SU January Blog Hop Love & Hearts

Welcome to the New At SU January Blog Hop as we showcase projects with the theme of Love & Hearts. It's hard to believe that Valentine's Day is just a month away, so now is the perfect time to start creating projects for the people you love. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
One of my favorite new bundles in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, is the Kangaroo & Company Bundle (item #156269) and I thought it was perfect for this month's blog hop. I paired it with the beautiful Oh So Ombre 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (155225), which is a Level 1 Sale-a-bration Reward that you can earn Free with a qualifying order. This pretty clean and simple card design makes a wonderful Valentine's Day card but would also work for other occasions such as Mother's Day.
Products Used:
Kangaroo & Company Bundle (item #156269)

- For Heart die cut with Stitched Be Mine Dies
Oh So Ombre 6"x6" Designer Series Paper Layer - 5" x 3 3/4"
This pretty card design is easy to create and I love how the images from the Kangaroo & Company stamp set look when colored with Stampin' Blends Markers. The Rococo Rose Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper makes a beautiful background for the card and I used the Light Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends Marker to color around the edges of the kangaroos so that they blended in. I used Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the hearts for the kangaroos to hold and also to pop up the sentiment heart to overlap the Rococo Rose cardstock heart. To embellish the card, I added three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to decorate the sentiment hearts and I colored the hearts that the kangaroos are holding with Clear Wink of Stella to add a touch of shimmer.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to create your own beautiful projects from the heart for the people you care about. GSF January Blog Hop Meant To Be

Welcome to a New Year of hopping with the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop and this month our theme is Meant To Be. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects to help inspire you.
For my card design today, I decided to use the beautiful new Always In My Heart Bundle (item #156194) from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. I love hearts and I love detailed dies, so creating this card with this new bundle was a lot of fun. The detailed dies layer beautifully and I used one of the dies from the Be Mine Stitched Dies (item #151814) to create the heart for the sentiment in this design. For this card, I chose to use Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron and Soft Sea Foam with a touch of Gold to step up it up.
Products Used:
Always In My Heart Bundle (item #156194)
Be Mine Stitched Dies (item #151814)
Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (item #151775)
Petal Pink Cardstock (item #146985)
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock (item #131198)
So Saffron Cardstock (item #105118)
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock (item #146988)
Gold Embossing Powder (item #109129)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallic Pearls (item #146282)
Measurements:
Petal Pink Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock Layer
- 5 1/4" x 4" (Embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder)
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock - For detailed floral heart die cut with Floral Heart Dies
So Saffron Cardstock - For detailed flowers die cut with Floral Heart Dies
Petal Pink Cardstock
- For Heart die cut with the Be Mine Stitched Dies, stamped with sentiment
- For flowers die cut with the Floral Heart Dies
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock - For small hearts die cut with Floral Hearts Dies
This card design showcases the variety of dies available in the Floral Hearts Dies, which is a part of the Always In My Heart Bundle. I love that the small detailed flowers match up with the flowers on the detailed floral heart and it gave me the ability to add color and texture to the design. The background layer has been embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to add subtle texture to the design.   The sentiment from the Always In My Heart stamp set was heat embossed onto a Petal Pink heart that was die cut using one of the heart dies from the Be Mine Stitched Dies. I was so happy that this die fit inside the floral heart die cut in a way that allowed the background to create a border around it. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the heart to add more dimension to the design and embellished it with three of the small hearts die cut from Flirty Flamingo cardstock. I popped the middle heart up with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional and added Gold Metallic Pearls to the hearts for a touch of bling. This card design is a wonderful way to show someone you care and brighten their day.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to create your own beautiful projects and explore the new products in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog.

GSF Extraordinary Anniversary Blog Hop

Today we are celebrating our 3rd Anniversary with the Global Stamping Friends Anniversary Blog Hop. It has been an honor to hop along with my wonderful fellow Stampin' Demonstrators as we share our ideas and projects to help inspire you. I hope that you will enjoy today's blog hop as we celebrate 3 years together.
My card design today features products from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog paired up with some Sneak Peek products from the new 2019 Holiday Catalog that will launch September 4th. I love taking products and creating unexpected designs with them and that is what I did when I chose to use the Ornate Frames Dies (150664) and the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder (item #150665) from the Monster Bash Suite in the Halloween section of the Holiday Catalog and combine it with the Be Mine Stitched Dies and coordinating Meant To Be stamp set from the Annual Catalog.
This pretty card design was created using Rococo Rose cardstock for the card base and I added a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock that I embossed using the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder. Next I added a layer of Blushing Bride cardstock that I die cut an opening using one of the large heart dies from the Be Mine Stitched Dies. I attached the Blushing Bride cardstock to the Very Vanilla cardstock layer with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up and create depth for the opening. Using two of the nesting hearts from the same die set, I die cut a thin heart frame from Rococo Rose cardstock and adhered it to the inside of the heart opening with Snail Adhesive.
To create the sentiment label, I used the Ornate Frames dies to die cut the detailed frame from Gold Foil. I heat embossed the Congratulations sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set (item #151407) onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and then die cut it with the coordinating die from the die set. I added the Very Vanilla Label to the Gold Foil Frame with Snail Adhesive and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals,  overlapping the heart opening.
Using the small striped heart stamp from the Meant to Be stamp set (item #148626), I stamped the image with Blushing Bride Classic ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and die cut it with the coordinating die in the Be Mine Stitched Dies (item #148527). I attached the heart die cut with a Stampin' Dimensional to the card front so that the top of the heart overlaps the sentiment.

To finish off the card design, I stamped the Happy Anniversary sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (item #151331) with Versamark ink onto a scrap of Rococo Rose cardstock and heat embossed it with Shimmer White Embossing Powder. I then die cut it with one of the small dies from the Ornate Frames dies and attached it to the card front at an angle, slightly underneath the heart die cut. For a touch of bling, I added a Gold Metallic Pearl to the small sentiment tag.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design inspires you to create your own special projects for the people you love and mix and match products that you might not normally think would go together. If you live in the U.S. and do not already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to help you.
