With Spring in the air, I am really enjoying the pretty color combinations in the new Pattern Party 12"x12" Designer Series Paper, which is a Host Reward you can earn Free with a qualifying party. This wonderful rainbow stripe design is so cheerful and I thought it was perfect to pair with the new Count On Me stamp set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I love the sweet images and wonderful sentiments in this stamp set. There are so many great ways to combine these products to create a variety of card designs.

This clean and simple card design is easy to assemble and you can create different designs by changing the designer series paper for the background as well as the images and sentiments in the stamp set. For this design, I chose the cute pair of koalas and stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the Basic White label and colored the images with Smoky Slate Stampin' Combo Pack. To add highlights to the ears and stomach, I used the Color Lifter to soften the color. For the sentiment, I used Pool Party Classic ink to stamp the image onto die cut label. I attached the focal image and sentiment to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals and added Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling. This card design is a wonderful way to brighten someone's day.

3D Paper Trimmer May Blog Hop Welcome New 2021-2022 Annual Catalog

Welcome to the 3D Paper Trimmer May Blog Hop as we showcase projects created using products from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you.
As you know, I love clean and simple designs, so today I thought I would share a simple fun fold card featuring two of the new 2021-2023 In Colors from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I am not normally a pink girl, but I must admit, I have been won over by the beautiful Polished Pink and it pairs wonderfully with Soft Succulent, especially for floral designs. I chose to use the Color & Contour Bundle for this card design. I love the artistic images in this stamp set and the scalloped rectangle dies were perfect for the layers of this fun fold.
Products Used:
Color & Contour Bundle (item #158356) New
2021-2023 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper
(item #155641) New
Polished Pink Cardstock (item #155710) New
Basic White Cardstock (item #155710)
Polished Pink Classic Ink Pad (item #155712) New
Soft Succulent Classic Ink Pad (item #155778) New
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad (item #132708)
Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155521) New
Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon (item #155780) New
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Polished Pink Cardstock
Card Base - 4 1/4" x 8 1/4" (scored at 5 1/2")
Focal Layer - 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"
Basic White Cardstock
Focal Layer die cut with Scalloped Contour Dies
Inside Layer die cut with Scalloped Contour Dies
2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper - Polished Pink
Front Panel - 2 1/2" x 4"
This fun fold card design is easy to create and is suitable for a variety of occasions. To create the fun fold, you simply need half a sheet of cardstock (4 1/4" x 11") and you cut it at 8 1/4" which leaves you with a piece that is 2 3/4" x 4 1/4", which works perfectly for the focal layer of this card. The designer series paper panel has a wonderful tone on tone design that works well with the floral theme of this card. I stamped the background of the Basic White focal scalloped rectangle die cut with the spots background image using Soft Succulent Classic ink. On a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the flower image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and die cut it with the coordinating die. I colored the flower with the coordinating stamp with Polished Pink Classic ink and the leaves were colored with the Light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Marker. I attached the flower to the scalloped rectangle die with Stampin' Dimensionals and attached the focal panel to the Polished Pink cardstock panel. I tied a piece of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the left side of the panel and added Basic Rhinestones to the focal design for a touch of bling. For the inside panel, I attached the large scalloped die cut to the inside of the card. To complete the card design, I attached the focal panel to the front of the card, attaching it with Stampin' Dimensionals on the left side of the focal panel so that the card can still open. I made sure to line it up so that it was centered over the inside panel to provide a pretty scalloped frame. I chose not to add a sentiment for this card, but you could add a sentiment to the front panel as well as the inside of the card if you wished.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my fun fold card design will help inspire you to explore the wonderful products in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. There are so many possibilities to explore and the new In Colors are so much fun to play with.

There is something so exciting about a brand new catalog and seeing all the wonderful possibilities for creating projects with all the new products. Today I am sharing a cute birthday card created with the adorable Party Puffins stamp set (item #155054) and two of the new 2021-2022 In Colors. I have been having so much fun discovering new color combinations with these beautiful colors and today I have chosen to use Polished Pink with Pale Papaya. This clean and simple card design has a fun, cheerful feel to it that is sure to make someone's birthday extra special.

Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
I love the combination of fun images and sentiments in the Party Puffins stamp set and I can see using this stamp set to create cards for people of all ages. The coordination of the new In Color products made creating this color simple and stress free. To create the sentiment tag, I die cut the tag with one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies from Polished Pink cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment with White Embossing Powder. I threaded a small piece of Polished Pink and Pale Papaya Ribbon through the hole in the tag and tied a bow around them with the White Baker's Twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack. The background of the Pale Papaya card front has been stamped with the candle image using Pale Papaya Classic ink to create a tone on tone pattern. I stamped the puffin image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Basic White cardstock circle die cut with the Layering Circles Dies. I colored the puffin image with the Stampin' Blends Markers to coordinate with the card design and layered the focal circle onto the Polished Pink scalloped circle that I die cut with the Layering Circles Dies. I attached the focal image and sentiment tag to the card front with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
