Colour Combo February Blog Hop

Welcome to the Colour Combo February Blog Hop as we share creative projects using Flirty Flamingo, Pacific Point and Soft Sea Foam. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas to help inspire you.
For my card design, I chose to use the Sale-a-bration stamp set, A Touch Of Ink, which is a Level 2 Reward that you can earn Free with a qualifying order. I just love the images in this stamp set and it has beautiful sentiments that make it perfect for creating wonderful cards. It's also a great stamp set for coloring and I used both the Stampin' Blends Markers and Classic ink with a Blender Pen to color the images.
Products Used:

Measurements:
Pacific Point Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (scored at 4 1/4")
Scalloped Square die cut with the Layering Squares Dies
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
Card Front Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Stitched Square die cut with the Stitched Shapes Dies
Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Small piece for stamped butterfly from the A Touch Of Ink stamp set, fussy cut
This card used the outline images for the flowers, leaves and the butterfly to create the card design. I stamped the background of the Soft Sea Foam cardstock with the leaves image using Soft Sea Foam Classic ink for a tone on tone look. For the square, I stamped the flowers and leaves with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Markers and then stamped the small dots image with Soft Sea Foam Classic ink to create a soft background. I layered the Basic White square onto the scalloped Pacific Point square to create a small border. For the butterfly image, I stamped it onto Basic White cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Pacific Point Classic ink and Flirty Flamingo Classic ink with a Blender Pen. I chose this method of coloring as there is no Pacific Point Stampin' Blends Markers and I wanted to try and create the same intensity of color by layering the ink with the Blender Pen. For the sentiment, I stamped the image with Pacific Point Classic ink onto a Basic White label die cut with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I added two small Basic Pearls that I colored with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Marker, for a touch of bling. Using the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, I colored over the flowers, leaves and the butterfly image to add a soft shimmer. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the sentiment label and the butterfly to the card front, with the butterfly's legs overlapping on top of the sentiment label.

It's time to hop along with the 3D Paper Trimmer January Blog Hop as we explore projects created using our Favorite Sale-a-bration products from the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog. You will be visiting with wonderful Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas to help inspire you.
Sale-a-bration is one of my favorite times of the year and trying to pick just one favorite from all the amazing Sale-a-bration products was so hard. So today I am sharing two of my favorite products that I used to create this cute little gift bag that works for so many occasions. I chose the beautiful Oh So Ombre 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #155225), a Level 1 Reward which is free with a qualifying USD$50 order and combined it with the stunning A Touch Of Ink stamp set (item #155233) which is a Level 2 Reward, free with a USD$100 order. Both of these products are so versatile and work well together or separately to create a wide variety of projects.
Products Used:

Basic White Cardstock
- For circle die cut with Stitched Shapes Dies
-For stamped image for the butterfly from A Touch of Ink stamp set
Granny Apple Green Cardstock - For scalloped circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
I found the directions for this cute little gift bag on a video on You Tube by Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Angie Juda, and thanks to her wonderful instructions, I was able to come up with my own version using these products. You can find the video here. The Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper has so many beautiful colors and designs to choose from and I choose to use the Granny Apple Green circle design paper for my bag. To decorate the bag I stamped the butterfly background image onto Basic White cardstock and then stamped the  outline image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on top of the background image. I fussy cut the image using Paper Snips and added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the stitched Basic White circle with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and attached the butterfly to the circle above the sentiment. I added the Basic White circle to the Granny Apple Green scalloped circle and attached it to the front of the gift bag, about an inch from the bottom. To decorate the circle, I added three small Basic Pearls that I colored using the Dark Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends Marker. To complete the gift bag, I tied a piece of the Whisper White Polka Dot Ribbon around the top with a bow to close the bag. I love the way this gift bag turned out and I can't wait to create more ready for Valentine's Day.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my gift bag inspires you to explore the wonderful products in the 2021 Sale-a-bration Catalog to help spark your creativity. There are so many options to try.
