Around The World On Wednesday June Blog Hop Step it Up Fun

Welcome to the Around The World On Wednesday June Blog Hop as we share projects with the theme "Step It Up Fun". You will be visiting with amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas to help you step up your projects to take your creativity to the next level.
As you all know, my style is more clean and simple than fancy, so when it came to creating my designs, I chose to do a simple design and a stepped up version that is still fairly simple to create. For both cards, I chose to use the Color & Contour Bundle and Fresh Freesia, one of the beautiful new 2021-2023 In Colors that were released last month. Both of these cards have a soft, pretty feel to them which make them perfect for Spring and Summer occasions.

Card #2 Measurements:
Fresh Freesia Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (scored at 4 1/4")
Basic White Cardstock
Label die cut with Scalloped Contours Dies
1/2" x 5 1/2" Strip - die cut with Scalloped Contours Dies
Inside layer - 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
Fresh Freesia Designer Series Paper
1/2" x 5 1/2" strip
Card #1 is a simple card to create with the main focus on stamping to decorate the card. I stamped the sentiment and splatter image with Fresh Freesia Classic ink on to the card base. For the label, I stamped the floral outline image with Soft Succulent Classic ink and then stamped the flower solid image with Fresh Freesia Classic ink. I attached the label to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to complete the design. For a touch of shimmer, I added Clear Wink of Stella To the flowers to complete the card.

For Card #2, I die cut the edge of the card base on the right side with the scalloped edge die and repeated the process on the Basic White cardstock strip. I attached the strip to the card base on the left side of the card and attached the Fresh Freesia Designer Series Paper layer so that the scallops were visible. Using a piece of the Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon, I wrapped it around the card base along the seam of the designer series paper and tied a knot towards the top. For the label, I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Silver embossing powder. To create the floral image, I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and colored the image with the Fresh Freesia and Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Markers. I then die cut the image with the coordinating die. I attached the label to the card base so that it overlapped the ribbon and designer series paper. I attached the die cut flower to the label on the left side and added Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling. To finish off the card, I added Clear Wink of Stella to the flowers and leaves for a touch of shimmer. The inside White cardstock layer helps to make the scalloped edge on the front of the card pop.
