Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop June 2020

Welcome to Kylie's June Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop as we share creative ideas and projects to help inspire you. You will be visiting with a wonderful group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share projects created with products from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.
One of my favorite new stamp sets is the Zany Zebras stamp set (item #152536) and I couldn't wait to create this fun birthday card with it. I paired it with the new 2020-2022 In Color, Magenta Madness, which is an amazing, vibrant pink. I just love how it pops against the black and white combination of this card design.
To create this card design, I started with a Thick Whisper White cardstock card base and added a 5 1/4" x 4" layer of Basic Black cardstock to frame the  5" x 3 3/4" Magenta Madness Designer Series Paper layer from the 2020-2022 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #153070). I stamped the zebra image from the Zany Zebras stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock. I die cut the image using a circle die from the Layering Circles Dies (item #151770) and layered it with a slightly large scalloped circle die cut from Basic Black cardstock. The party hat was created by stamping the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and I colored the image using the Light Magenta Madness and Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blends Markers. I then fussy cut out the party hat and attached it to the top of the zebra's head with adhesive.
The sentiment was stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and punched out using the Classic Label Punch (item #141491). Using the new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (item #152883) I punched a label from a 3/4" Basic Black cardstock strip and attached the sentiment label on top with adhesive. I added two Magenta Madness Enamel Dots from the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots (item #152480) to the sentiment to add a pop of color.
I assembled the card by attaching the layers with adhesive and adding the focal zebra image and the sentiment to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop them up. I love how bright and cheerful this card design is and I think it is perfect for all ages.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will encourage you to explore the many wonderful products in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and create your own wonderful projects.
