Ink. Stamp. Share June Special Blog Hop

It's time to hop along with the Ink. Stamp. Share June Special Blog Hop as we share projects and ideas to help inspire you. Our theme for this hop is Anything Goes, so you will get to see a wide range of project ideas as you visit the blogs of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world.
Today I am sharing a clean and simple Thank You card created with the new Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle (item #154065). Instead of coloring the flower image to look like a sunflower, I chose a different color combination to create the look of a Gerbera Daisy. I stamped the image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock using Soft Suede Classic ink. I colored the image using the So Saffron combo, Granny Apple Green combo and Flirty Flamingo combo of Stampin' Blends Markers. I die cut the image using the coordinating Sunflowers Dies.
For the card base, I chose Granny Apple Green cardstock and I added a layer of Whisper White cardstock that I embossed using the new Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (item #152718) to add subtle texture to the background. I die cut a layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock using the label dies from the Hippo & Friends Dies (item #153585) and a slightly smaller die cut from Whisper White cardstock using the same dies. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set with Gold embossing powder onto the Whisper White label, towards the center.
The ribbon embellishment was created by coloring a piece of Gold 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon (item #144146) with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Marker and folded it in half, securing it in place with a Mini Glue Dot. I attached it to the back of the Granny Apple Green label die cut with another Mini Glue Dot, towards the bottom right side.
To assemble the card, I attached the embossed Whisper White cardstock layer to the card base and then added the sentiment label to the center of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added the die cut flower to the top left corner of the label with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals so that the flower overlapped the top of the label. For a touch of shimmer, I added Clear Wink of Stella to the flower and leaves, to finish off the design. I love how this flower image was transformed from a sunflower to a daisy by using a different color combination. It opens up so many wonderful possibilities for this bundle.
