2020 Kre8tors June Blog Hop New Annual Catalog

Welcome to the 2020 Kre8tors June Blog Hop as we showcase new products from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog to create masculine projects. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share projects created with these amazing products to help you see all the wonderful options available to you.
My masculine card design features the stamp set, A Good Man (item #149270) combined with two of the new 2020-2022 In Colors from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I love how Misty Moonlight and Just Jade look together and they add just the right amount of color to brighten up what could be a rather drab card design.
To create this card design, I started with a Misty Moonlight card base and added a layer of Crumb Cake cardstock that I embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder (item #149643). I sponged the background with Crumb Cake Classic ink to add a distressed look and bring out the detail in the embossing. I added a 1" x 5 1/4" strip of Misty Moonlight Designer Series Paper from the 2020-2022 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper Pack (item #153070) framed by a 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" Just Jade strip of cardstock to the card front.
The focal image was created by stamping the image from A Good Man stamp set with Early Espresso Classic ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. I die cut the image using the Layering Ovals Dies (item #151771) and colored the image using Stampin' Blends Markers. I layered this image onto an Early Espresso cardstock oval die cut with the same die set. I attached the image to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals so that it overlaps the designer series paper strip.
For the sentiment, I stamped the image with Early Espresso Classic ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and die cut the sentiment with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies (item #151820). I cut a piece of Early Espresso cardstock to create a matte for the sentiment and added it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I really like the way this color combination works together and I think these colors are great for masculine card designs. This card design would work well for a Father's Day card or a masculine birthday card.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to create your own masculine designs with the products available in the new Annual Catalog. There are so many wonderful possibilities to explore and experiment with.
