It's time for the Ink. Stamp. Share. January Blog Hop and this month we have been challenged to use products from the new 2019 Occasions Catalog. You will be visiting blogs from all over the world featuring projects created by Stampin' Up! demonstrators to help inspire you with your own creations.
For today's hop, I chose to use the beautiful Humming Along Bundle (item #150621) to create my card design. I love how the hummingbird image has the look of stained glass and I colored the image using the versatile Stampin' Blend Markers. I chose colors that coordinated with the cardstock I chose for a soft, pretty look.
The card base was created using Mint Macaron cardstock and I added a frame of Blushing Bride cardstock that I die cut using the Rectangles Stitched Framelits (item #148551) to fit around the piece of Whisper White cardstock that I also die cut with these dies. I love the detailed stitching these dies create on both the inside and outside edges of the rectangles.
The hummingbird image and sentiment are both from the Humming Along stamp set (item #148758) which coordinates perfectly with the Hummingbird Framelits Dies (item #148538). When you order both products as a bundle, you save 10%. Remember, during Sale-a-bration, you can also earn Free exclusive products with a qualifying order.
I chose to heat emboss the sentiment with Gold embossing powder to add a touch of elegance to the card and I used Clear Wink of Stella to add shimmer to the hummingbird image. I just love the classic elegance of this card design and it works beautifully for a birthday, get well or thank you card.
