2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop Occasions SAB Tic Tac Toe

Welcome to the January 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop and this month we have a Tic Tac Toe Challenge featuring products from the New 2019 Occasions Catalog and 2019 Sale-a-bration Catalog. I just love when we have new products to create with and I am excited to share my card design with you today.

For today's Tic Tac Toe Challenge, I chose to go diagonally and use Sequins, Punch and Ribbon for my card design. I wanted to create a card that was simple enough that a new stamper could create it but still have that look of a stepped up card. I am hoping that you will like the end result. One of my favorite products from the 2019 Occasions Catalog is the new Happy Tails Bundle (item #150631). This stamp set and punch combination is perfect for new stampers to create beautiful projects.
The card base was created using Crumb Cake cardstock and I added a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock that I stamped using the smaller images from the Happy Tails stamp set (item #148682). I just love the variety of images in this set and it was fun to create the look of designer series paper with these images to create a fun pattern. I used Crumb Cake, Real Red and Early Espresso Classic inks to stamp the background.

To create the dog, I stamped the image onto Crumb Cake cardstock using Soft Suede ink and punched it out using the Dog Builder Punch (item #148543), which coordinates perfectly with the stamp set. I also punched out the small heart from Real Red cardstock as an embellishment. Did you know that when you purchase the stamp set and punch as a bundle, you can save 10%? I love an opportunity to save.
For the sentiment, I stamped it onto Early Espresso cardstock using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Gold embossing powder. I then punched out the sentiment using the Tailored Tag Punch (item #145667) which can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. I embellished the tag with Gold sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment (item #144214) and the 3/16" Braided Linen Trim, which carried over from the 2018 Holiday Catalog.
To help make the dog stand out against the patterned background, I punched out a circle using the 2 1/4" Circle Punch from Early Espresso cardstock and attached it to the card front. I attached the dog and the red heart on top of the circle using Stampin' Dimensionals.  I added the sentiment tag below the circle with Stampin' Dimensionals to complete the card design.
I just love how this card came together and fun, cheerful feel to it. With the variety of sentiments available in this stamp set, you could adapt this card for a number of occasions. It really is a fun bundle to create cards with minimal supplies. During Sale-a-bration, if you place a qualifying order, you can earn Free Sale-a-bration products.
