Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge Week 40 - Blueberry Bushel

It's time for Week 40 of the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge and this week we are showcasing Blueberry Bushel from the Regals Collection. I love this beautiful blue and I couldn't wait to create this fun birthday card to share with you.
For my card design, I chose to use the Friendly Fins Bundle from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog and paired it with the So Swirly Embossing Folder to add some texture to the background. This birthday card design is so much fun and works well for people of all ages.
Products Used:
Friendly Fins Bundle (item #163589)
Nested Essentials Dies (item #161597)
So Swirly Embossing Folder (item #163791)
Blueberry Bushel Cardstock (item #146968)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Blueberry Bushel Classic Ink Pad (item #147138)
Tinsel Gems Four Pack (item #161623)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Blueberry Bushel Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Card Front 5" x 3 3/4" Embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder
Basic White Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
Shark image stamped and die cut with the Friendly Fins Bundle
Sentiment Label die cut with the Nested Essentials Dies
This clean and simple birthday card was so much fun to create and I love how it showcases Blueberry Bushel. I wanted to add some texture to the background using the So Swirly Embossing Folder to give the illusion of water for the shark. I stamped the hammerhead shark outline image using Blueberry Bushel Classic ink onto Basic White cardstock and then stamped the body image also using Blueberry Bushel Classic ink, stamping it off once to give it a lighter shade. I die cut the shark image out using the coordinating die and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. For the sentiment, I stamped the Happy Birthday image using Blueberry Bushel Classic ink onto the sentiment label that I die cut using the Nested Essentials Dies. I attached it to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals, centering it below the shark image. To complete the card design, I added two of the Blueberry Bushel Tinsel Gems for a touch of bling.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to give Blueberry Bushel a try when creating your own beautiful projects. There are so many wonderful options to explore to help spark your creativity.

Let's start off the month of October with the We Create Blog Hop showcasing the theme of Haunts & Harvests. Now that Fall has finally arrived, it's the perfect time to all those beautiful Autumn colors and have fun with spooky Halloween projects to get us into the spirit of the season. Our wonderful Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you to get ready for some Fall fun.
I feel like now that it is October, it is time for Halloween projects. I love creating for this fun holiday and even though my kids are grown up, I still find ways to celebrate and share this spooky occasion. For my card design today, I went with a fun and whimsical design using the new Potions & Spells Bundle and paired it with one of the Highland Heather designs from the Subtles 6"x6" Designer Series Paper to create the background. Stampin' Blends Markers are one of my favorite coloring tools and they worked perfectly for coloring in the cat and books for this design.

Sentiment Label die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Cat image stamped and die cut with the Potions & Spells Bundle
1 Books images stamped and die cut with the Potions & Spells Bundle
Highland Heather Designer Series Paper
4 Strips - 3/4" x 5"
I have a soft spot for black cats, so when I saw the cat image in the Potions & Spells Bundle, I just knew that I had to use it for my focal design. I am also an avid reader so adding the books was a fun way to create my focal design. I colored the images using a variety of Stampin' Blends Markers to help bring them to life and add a splash of color. For the background, I added 4 strips of Highland Heather Designer Series Paper to the Basic Black card front, and even though I made a mistake in the placement of the strips that left a larger gap in the middle than I had originally intended, I love how it adds to the finished layout. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with White embossing powder onto the Basic Black sentiment label to help make it pop. To finish off the design, I added several Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will inspire you to get into the spirit of the Fall season and create your own amazing projects. There are so many possibilities to explore.

Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge Week 39 - Soft Sea Foam

Happy Friday everyone. It's time to share Week 39 of the Monochromatic Color Challenge with Soft Sea Foam as our featured color. This beautiful soft green from the Subtles Collection works so well for a variety of occasions throughout the year and I am excited to share my card design with you all.
For today's card design, I chose to use the Inspiration Sketches stamp set and paired it with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder to add subtle texture. I love the organic feel of this clean and simple card design. I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to create the circles and sentiment label for this card.
Products Used:
Inspirational Sketches stamp set (item #162684)
Stylish Shapes Dies (item #159183)
Fern 3D Embossing Folder (item #158804)

Soft Sea Foam Classic Ink Pad (item #147102)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Wow Embossing Powders (item #165678)
Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #161673)

Small Circle die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Large Circle die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Sentiment Label die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
This lovely clean and simple card design is a wonderful combination of stamping and embossing. I embossed the two Soft Sea Foam cardstock circles with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and then used a Blending Brush to add a touch of Soft Sea Foam Classic ink to help bring out the definition to the embossed design. I stamped the focal design using Soft Sea Foam Classic ink onto the large Basic White circle and I love the detail in this beautiful image. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with Gold embossing powder onto the sentiment label to add a touch of elegance to the design. To complete the card design, I added several Iridescent Pearls that I colored with the Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Marker to coordinate with the rest of the card design.

Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge Week 38 - Shaded Spruce

It's time for Week 39 of the Monochromatic Color Challenge. This week we are showcasing Shaded Spruce from the Regals Collection. This gorgeous dark green is so versatile and I love using it for the holidays.
One of my favorite new embossing folders from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog would have to be the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder. I love all the wonderful detail created by this embossing folder and I wanted to use it to create my background design for my card. The focal image has been created using the Greetings of the Season Bundle and I love how the Gold embossing pops against the Shaded Spruce label. Instead of using Basic White, I chose to use Soft Sea Foam to add contrast to my design. I love how these two greens look together to create this beautiful Christmas card.
Products Used:
Greetings of the Season Bundle (item #164113)
Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder (item #164026)
Shaded Spruce Cardstock (item #146981)
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock (item #146988)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Wow Embossing Powders (item #165678)
Gold Textured Adhesive Backed Dots (item #164027)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Shaded Spruce Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Card Front - 5" x 3 3/4" Embossed with the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder
Sentiment Label die cut with the Greetings of the Season Dies
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
Matte Label die cut with the Greetings of the Season Dies
This wonderful clean and simple holiday card is easy to create with just a few supplies. I started by embossing the card front using the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the design. I attached it to the Soft Sea Foam cardstock layer and then added it to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Gold embossing powder onto the Shaded Spruce sentiment label. I then layered it onto a larger label die cut from Soft Sea Foam cardstock and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. To complete the card design, I added two of the Gold Textured Adhesive Backed Dots to the sentiment label for a touch of bling.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore using Shaded Spruce for your future projects. There are so many ways to add texture and detail to help step up your card designs.

Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge Week 37 - Crushed Curry

Happy Friday everyone. This week we are showcasing Crushed Curry from the Regals Collection for Week 37 of the Monochromatic Color Challenge. This gorgeous yellow is perfect for Fall, so I thought I would create a beautiful clean and simple card design to celebrate the new season.
For today's design, I chose to use the new Autumn Expressions Bundle, one of my new favorites from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. I paired it with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder to add some subtle texture to the background layer. This card design is all about Crushed Curry with just a touch of Gold Foil to help step up the design.

Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Gold Foil Sheets (item #132622)
Crushed Curry Classic Ink Pad (item #147087)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Blender Pens (item #102845)
Measurements:

Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Label stamped & die cut with the Autumn Expressions Bundle
2 Leaves stamped & die cut with the Autumn Expressions Bundle

This beautiful clean and simple card design showcases the versatility of this wonderful yellow. I love the tone on tone design created with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder which adds subtle texture to the background. I stamped the two leaves using Crushed Curry Classic ink onto Basic White cardstock and used a Blender Pen to blend the ink to add soft color to the leaves. I die cut them out using the coordinating dies as well as the detailed leaves from a piece of Gold Foil. For the sentiment, I stamped the image with Crushed Curry Classic ink onto the Basic White label.
