SBTD April Blog Hop Flowers

Welcome to the Stampers By The Dozen (SBTD) April Blog Hop as we showcase projects featuring flowers. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up1 Demonstrators from around the world as we share our ideas to help inspire you to create your own beautiful projects. Flowers are so versatile and can be used all year round, for a variety of occasions.
Today's card design features products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog. I paired the Peaceful Moments Bundle (item #153824) with the Painted Labels Dies (item #151605) to create this soft and pretty birthday card.
To create this card design, I used Pool Party cardstock for the card base and added a layer of Pool Party cardstock that I embossed with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder (item #149634) to add subtle texture. I die cut the large label from Whisper White cardstock using the Painted Labels Dies and attached it to the card front with Snail adhesive. I die cut the circle swirl from Bermuda Bay cardstock and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals so that it overlaps the Whisper White label.
To create the sentiment, I die cut a circle from Whisper White cardstock using one of the circle dies from the Stitched Shapes Dies (item #145372) from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. I heat embossed the sentiment image from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (item #151595) using Silver Embossing Powder. I attached the embossed circle to the center of the Bermuda Bay Swirl using Snail Adhesive.
Using the Poppy Moments Dies (item #151594), I die cut two of the smaller base flowers from Blushing Bride cardstock and die cut two of the coordinating detailed outlines from Rococo Rose cardstock. I attached the detailed outlines to the bases using Snail Adhesive. Using Basic Black cardstock, I die cut two of the small centers out and attached them to the center of each flower. I die cut four of the small leaves from Soft Sea Foam cardstock and added two of them to each of the flowers using Snail Adhesive. I attached the flowers to the card front on the top and bottom side of the Bermuda Bay swirl using Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card design, I added Basic Rhinestones to the card front for a touch of bling and colored the black centers and the outlines of the flowers with Clear Wink of Stella for a touch of shimmer.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design inspires you to try creating your own projects using flowers. There are so many wonderful possibilities to try.

2020 Kre8tors January Blog Hop Sale-a-bration & Mini Catalog

Welcome to the 2020 Kre8tors January Blog Hop as we celebrate the New January-June 2020 Mini Catalog and the 2020 Sale-a-bration Catalog. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as we share our projects and ideas to help inspire you. I hope that you enjoy our creations.
This soft and pretty card design features the Timeless Tulips stamp set from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog. To create this card, I chose Soft Sea Foam cardstock for the card base and added a layer of Petal Pink cardstock that I embossed with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder (item #149634) to add some texture to the background.
For the focal panel, I stamped a 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock with images from the Timeless Tulips stamp set, using Petal Pink Classic ink for the flower images and Soft Sea Foam Classic ink for the leaves and stems. I attached this panel to a 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock using Snail Adhesive.
The label for the sentiment was punched out of Soft Sea Foam cardstock using the Label Me Fancy Punch (item #151297). I heat embossed the birthday sentiment using Gold embossing powder onto the label. I attached a piece of Petal Pink 1/4" Metallic Edge Ribbon across the focal panel towards the bottom and attached the label over the ribbon using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
To finish off the card, I added clear sequins from the Peaceful Poppies Sequins (item 3151325) to add a touch of bling to this clean and simple design. I love that these sequins come in a variety of sizes and some of them are shaped like small flowers for an extra decorative touch. They are simple to attach to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.
This pretty card design can be used for a variety of occasions and you can vary the color combination to personalize. I hope that you have enjoyed my card design and hopefully it inspires you to explore creating your own designs using stamps, paper and ink with a few extra touches.
