Ink. Stamp. Share. April Showcase Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. April Showcase Blog Hop as we share projects we are currently working on to help inspire you. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their fun ideas to help spark your creativity.
Over the past few weeks I have been busy showing some love to retiring favorite 2020-2021 Annual Catalog products before I have to say goodbye to them. Today I decided to create this pretty card design with the beautiful Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (item #152483) and the Prized Peony stamp set (item #152504). Thankfully the stamp set is not retiring but I will miss the amazing designs in this elegant paper pack. I also decided to use the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (item #149638) to create the sentiment label for this card and I am really going to miss this amazing die set. The retiring products are part of the Last Chance Product Sale and are available to order while supplies last or until May 3rd, 2021.
Products Used:
Prized Peony stamp set (item #152504)

Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (item #151326)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)

Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched Nested Labels Dies
Peony Garden Designer Series Paper
Background Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
This clean and simple card design has an elegant feel to it thanks to the beautiful paper design for the background and the heat embossed images from the Prized Peony stamp set. I love the way the White embossing pops against the Gray Granite cardstock. To finish off the design, I added a small bow tied with the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon to the top of the sentiment label and a couple of small Basic Pearls for a touch of bling.

Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights November 2020

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's November Monthly International Blog Highlights as we showcase wonderful projects with the theme of Thank You. You will have the opportunity to visit with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you.
My card today features a "No Stamping" design using the beautiful Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (item #152483) combined with the Well Written Dies (item #151816) and Ornate Layers Dies (item #152726) from 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I love the classic elegance of this design and how simple it was to create.
Products Used:
Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (item #152483)
Well Written Dies (item #151816)
Ornate Layers Dies (item #152726)
Gray Granite cardstock (item #146983)
Gold Foil Sheets (item #132622)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Measurements:
Gray Granite cardstock card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
(scored at 4 1/4")
Peony Garden Designer Series Paper layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Gray Granite panel - for die cutting sentiment layer with Ornate Layers Dies
Gold Foil Sheet - for die cutting sentiments and embellishments with the Well Written Dies
To create this card design, I die cut all the pieces first to make it easy to assemble the card. I attached the designer series paper layer to the card base with Stampin' Seal Adhesive. I snipped the floral embellishment that was die cut from the Gold Foil into three separate pieces and lined then up with the sentiment label before attaching them to the card front. I added the sentiment die cuts to the Gray Granite die cut panel and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals so that hid the ends of the floral embellishments. For a touch of bling, I added Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the flowers and the butterfly to step up the design. This clean and simple card design is a great way to say thank you to someone and make them feel extra special and appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will  help inspire you to create your own beautiful thank you cards to send to the people in your life.

Around The World On Wednesday July Blog Hop CASE A Team Member

Welcome to the Around The World on Wednesday July Blog Hop and this month we are CASEing our fellow Team Members for some fun inspiration. You will have the opportunity to visit many talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world and be inspired by their creative ideas. We also have two wonderful special guests this month - the very talented Kylie and Bruno Bertucci, for added inspiration. I hope you will enjoy our blog hop this month.
How does this work? Each of us will be using a card designed by a fellow team member as our inspiration for our project this month. I am so excited to be CASEing the wonderful Satomi Wellard, a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from Japan and Australia.
 Satomi's Card post
I chose to CASE the beautiful card shown above that Satomi created using the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (item #152483) and I loved the layout with the contrasting paper colors and designs. Below is the design that I came up with that was inspired by her lovely card design.
For my card design, I chose to do a simple fun fold. I chose Gray Granite cardstock for the card base and I cut a 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" piece and scored it at 3 1/4". For the front panel, I cut a 3 1/8" x 5 3/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock and attached it to the card front. For the inside panel, I cut a 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock. I cut a piece of the Peony Garden Suite Designer Series Paper at 5 1/4" x 4" and then I cut a 1" strip off so that I had two pieces - 5 1/4" x 3" and 5 1/4" x 1". Attached the larger piece to the card front with the Gray Granite pattern facing up and I attached the 1" strip to the inside panel on the right side, with the Petal Pink pattern facing up.
To create the focal design, I die cut the base layer of the butterflies die image from the Butterfly Beauty Dies (item #151819) from Thick Whisper White cardstock and the detailed layer was die cut from Gold Foil. I adhered the Gold detailed layer to the Whisper White layer and then attached the butterflies to the card front so that they slightly overlapped the card front.
I die cut two of the small butterflies from Gold Foil and attached them to the inside panel of the card on opposite corners to decorate. I liked the elegant touch the Gold Foil added to the inside design.
The sentiment was created using the Gorgeous Posies stamp set (item #153289) and I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder onto a 3/4" strip of Whisper White cardstock and created a  label using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (item #152883). I layered it onto a 1" Petal Pink cardstock label that I created also using the punch.
To complete the card design, I attached the sentiment label to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals and embellished the label and the card front with small Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling. I love that I was able to take elements from Satomi's wonderful card to help me create my own unique design. It's one of my favorite things about CASEing.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that you have enjoyed my card design and I hope that it encourages you to CASE designs to help you explore new ways to create your projects.  It can open up a whole new world of creativity. The products I chose for my card design can be found in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.
