We Create December Blog Hop Holiday Fun

Welcome to the We Create December Blog Hop as we showcase projects and ideas to celebrate Holiday Fun. Can you believe that Christmas is just weeks away? Well, don't panic. There is still time to create your own beautiful cards and projects to share with family and friends without getting stressed out. I hope our ideas will help inspire you to get creative for the holiday season.
Let's face it, creating homemade cards this close to Christmas can seem a little overwhelming but I have a secret weapon that will help you to create your own beautiful cards without all the stress. In the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog, there is a range of Mix & Match products that can help you create clean and simple cards in a fraction of the time and you don't have to stamp a single image. Sounds amazing, right? For my card design, I chose to use one of the Night of Navy card bases from the Gold Dipped Mix & Match Specialty Cards & Envelopes and I used elements from the Joyful Images Mix & Match Specialty Ephemera Pack and a sentiment from the Joyful Sayings Mix & Match Ephemera Pack to build my design. All the elements from each of the packs coordinates perfectly to help take out the guess work and allows you to have fun exploring your creativity. This gives you the opportunity to create a wonderful stack of Christmas cards in a short amount of time while still enjoying some fun creative therapy.

Creating projects with the Mix & Match products is as simple as picking out the elements you want to use and then assembling the design. I love how the Gold accents add a touch of elegance without being over the top. For my design, I chose the cabin circle image as my focal point and then added small accent die cuts to create the look I wanted. For the sentiment, I chose a beautiful Gold embossed image that coordinated perfectly with the design I had created and I added several Gold stars to accent it. Then is was a simple matter of adhering the die cuts to the Night of Navy card base and voila! A simply gorgeous Christmas card ready to send to someone special for the holidays. In addition to Christmas cards, you can use these elements to create custom gift tags or decorate scrapbook pages to record those special memories. There are so many wonderful options in each pack to help you create your own beautiful projects for the holidays.
