Global Stamping Friends March Blog Hop Spring Into Stamping

Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends March Blog Hop as we showcase projects to help us Spring into Stamping. It's hard to believe that it's March already and that the official start of Spring is just weeks away. Our Design Team will be sharing their beautiful projects and ideas to help spark your creativity to help you create your own beautiful Spring projects.
For my Spring card design, I have chosen to use the Art Gallery Bundle that is part of the Savings Are In Bloom Promotion during the month of March. You can save 20% on this beautiful bundle while supplies last and it's perfect for creating wonderful Spring themed projects. I paired it with the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. This pretty Fresh Freesia pattern makes a lovely background for my floral card design. I chose to use several of the 2021-2023 In Colors for my color combination and I love the way they pop against the Basic White cardstock layer that was die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Did you know that the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the Floral Gallery Dies fit perfectly in the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine? This cute little machine is so versatile and fits perfectly in your craft space. This pretty card design would work well for a variety of occasions and would be a great addition to your card stash.

Basic White Cardstock
Scalloped Rectangle die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Sentiment Label die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Flower and stem stamped and die cut with the Art Gallery Bundle
Heart & Home Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
This clean and simple card design features the beautiful florals from the Art Gallery Bundle. I stamped the background flower image with Polished Pink Classic ink by stamping it off once on scrap paper before stamping it onto Basic White cardstock. I then stamped the second floral image on top with Polish Pink Classic ink to create the layers of color for the image. I stamped the stem using Soft Succulent Classic ink also onto Basic White cardstock and then used the coordinating Floral Gallery Dies from the bundle to die cut both images. I attached the stem to the Basic White Scalloped Rectangle using Stampin' Dimensionals behind the leaves. Next I attached the floral image with Stampin' Dimensionals towards the top of the rectangle so that it overlaps the top of the stem. I attached the Scalloped Rectangle using Stampin' Dimensionals, to the designer series paper layer which has been adhered to the card base. For the sentiment, I stamped the image with Soft Succulent Classic ink onto the label and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. To embellish the card design, I tied a bow with the Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon and attached it to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot and added Polished Pink Jewels from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels, to the sentiment label. This color combination is perfect for Spring themed cards and I love how this design turned out.

Around The World On Wednesday May Blog Hop Fancy Folds

Welcome to the Around the World On Wednesday May Blog Hop as we showcase Fancy Fold card designs. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as we share our ideas and projects to help inspire you.
Today I am showcasing a Gate Fold card with a difference. I found this version on You Tube, shared by fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Connie Stewart. The measurements for this Gate Fold gives it an asymmetrical look. I used the Art Gallery Bundle (item #156227) with the coordinating Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (item #154558) from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog to create this bold design. I love this beautiful combination of Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive and Basic White with just a touch of Gold embossing to step up the design.
Products Used:
Art Gallery Bundle (item #156227)
Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (item #154558)
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Stitched Rectangles Dies (item #151820)
Poppy Parade Cardstock (item #119793)
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock (item #141416)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Poppy Parade Classic Ink Pad (item #147050)
Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink Pad (item #147052)
Old Olive Classic Ink Pad (item #147090)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallic Embossing Powder (Copper, Gold, Silver - item #155555)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (item #151326)
Measurements:
Poppy Parade Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 2 1/2" & 6 3/4")
Layer 1 - 2 3/4" x 3 7/8"
Basic White Cardstock
Scrap for flower image stamped and die cut with
the Art Gallery Bundle
Focal Panel - die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Inside Panel - 5 1/4" x 4"
Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper
Front Panels - 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" & 1 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Inside Strip - 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
Sentiment Label - die cut with Stitched Rectangles Dies
The bold colors in the designer series paper really bring this card to life and I used these colors to choose the coordinating cardstock to create the design. The Poppy Parade card base makes the designer series paper panels pop and I used Old Olive to stamp the stem of the flower onto the Basic White focal panel to coordinate with the background pattern. To create the flower, I stamped the base image with Flirty Flamingo Classic ink and the second layer with Poppy Parade Classic ink to add depth and contrast. I die cut the flower and added it to the focal panel with Stampin' Dimensionals. Using Clear Wink of Stella, I added some shimmer to the flower image. I embossed the sentiment with Gold embossing powder and added the Flirty Flamingo label to the bottom of the focal panel with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. For a touch of bling, I added Basic Rhinestones to the sentiment label and I added a small white bow to the stem of the flower with a Mini Glue Dot. To add the focal panel to the card front, I centered the panel and added glue to the left side of the back of the panel and attached it to the left flap of the card front. This way the card can still open and close. For the inside panel, I added the small strip of designer series paper along the bottom of the Basic White cardstock layer to dress it up.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to try creating your own fancy fold card and explore the wonderful possibilities out there.

Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights January 2021

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights for January and we are starting off the New Year with Thank You card ideas to help inspire you. You will have the opportunity to visit with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help spark your creativity.
I am so excited about the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, so I thought I would share a card I created using some of the new products you can order beginning January 5th. I chose to use the wonderful Art Gallery Bundle (item #156227) and added texture with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (item #154317) to create this pretty design. The colors I chose for my card include Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose, Soft Sea Foam and Very Vanilla with a touch of Gold to step it up.
Products Used:
Art Gallery Bundle (item #156227)
Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (item #154317)
Dragonflies Punch (item #154240)
Rococo Rose Cardstock (item #150882)
Blushing Bride Cardstock (item #131198)
Very Vanilla Cardstock (item #101650)
Gold Foil Sheets (item #132622)
Rococo Rose Classic Ink Pad (item #150080)
Blushing Bride Classic Ink Pad (item #147100)
Soft Sea Foam Classic Ink Pad (item #147102)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Gold Embossing Powder (item #109129)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Measurements:
Rococo Rose Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
(Scored at 4 1/4")
Blushing Bride Cardstock Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Very Vanilla Cardstock Layer - 5" x 3 3/4" (Stamped with images from the Art Gallery stamp set and embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder)
Rococo Rose Cardstock - For sentiment label die cut with the Floral Gallery Dies)
Gold Foil Sheet - For small dragonfly punched out with the Dragonflies Punch
This clean and simple card design is easy to create and works for a variety of occasions. I stamped the images from the Art Gallery stamp set onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Blushing Bride and Rococo Rose Classic ink for the flowers and Soft Sea Foam Classic ink for the leaves. To add texture, I embossed the stamped layer with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment is also from the Art Gallery stamp set and I heat embossed it onto a piece of Rococo Rose cardstock that I die cut with the small label die from the Floral Gallery Dies. To embellish this card design, I punched a small dragonfly from a piece of Gold Foil using the Dragonflies Punch and added a small Basic Rhinestone Jewel for a touch of bling to complete the card design.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to try some of the wonderful new products in the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog that launches January 5th. There are so many options to choose from.
