November Online Exclusives Blog Hop

One of my favorite things about new products is the opportunity to create new projects and explore new combinations. Today you will have the opportunity to visit with talented Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas using the new Online Exclusives products released this month.

For my card design, I decided to use the new Garden Meadow Bundle to create a pretty Thinking of You card. The background was created using a watercolor technique that is soft and pretty with touches of texture. I love the pretty wheelbarrow image and colored it with Stampin' Blends Markers to bring it to life.

Wheelbarrow image stamped and die cut with the Garden Meadow Bundle

This card design was so much fun to create and I combined several techniques to bring it all together. For the background, I used the Watercolor Smoosh technique, combining Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather and Pool Party, spritzed with water to create this one of a kind design on a piece of Basic White cardstock. After drying the cardstock with my Heat Tool, I stamped the background to create a collage design that compliments the watercolor look. I trimmed the cardstock to 5" x 3 3/4" for my card front. Using Gold embossing powder, I heat embossed the sentiment in the top left corner and then attached the card front to the Fresh Freesia cardstock layer. For the wheelbarrow, I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink into a piece of Basic White cardstock and colored the image with Stampin' Blends Markers. I die cut the image with the coordinating die and attached the wheelbarrow to the card front. To complete the card design, I attached the card front layers to the Thick Basic White card base and added several Fresh Freesia Tinsel Gems for a touch of bling. I love how this card design turned out and I can't wait to try it again using other images from this bundle.
