Colour Combo June Blog Hop

Welcome to the Colour Combo June Blog Hop as we are challenged this month to use Early Espresso, Merry Merlot and Flirty Flamingo to create our projects. Our Design Team members will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you to explore this wonderful color combination to create your own amazing projects.
This was a challenging color combination but I love how the finished card design turned out. I had so much fun creating the blended background using Merry Merlot and Flirty Flamingo Classic inks using Blending Brushes. The stamped and embossed floral image and sentiment really pop against the pretty background. This card design would also work well as a birthday or even as a sympathy card.

This beautiful card design has a wonderful glow to the background and really helps the focal image stand out. I heat embossed the focal image and sentiment using Versamark ink and Early Espresso Classic ink with Clear embossing powder to help step up the design. For the blended background, I sponged the center of the card front with Flirty Flamingo Classic ink and added Merry Merlot Classic ink around the outside edges. The Blending Brushes did a wonderful job of blending the colors together to create this beautiful card design. I colored three of the small Basic Rhinestones with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the card front for a touch of bling. I attached a piece of the Early Espresso 1/4" Faux Suede Trim across the bottom the card front to add some texture. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, I popped up the Flirty Flamingo layer onto the Merry Merlot card base for extra dimension.
