Paper Pumpkin Possibilities November Blog Hop Gifts Galore

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities November Blog Hop as we showcase alternative project ideas featuring the Gifts Galore Kit. You will be visiting with our talented Design Team Members as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you to think outside the box.
Once again, Paper Pumpkin has outdone themselves with a simply amazing kit. The cute gift packaging is just what I needed for this time of year to create Teacher Gifts for my son's teachers. So because I was using most of the supplies from my kit, I needed to come up with a different way to create my alternate project. One of my favorite things about each month's Paper Pumpkin kit, is the exclusive stamp set. So, I decided to create my projects using all the stamp images from this month's stamp set.
Products Used:

Christmas Card
Flirty Flamingo Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Basic White 2 Layers - 5 1/4" x 4"
Christmas Tag
Large Tag die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Dies
For my projects, I decided to use non-traditional Christmas colors to create my designs. I wanted clean and simple designs that would be bright and cheerful. I chose to use Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the card base and gift tag to coordinate with the Flirty Flamingo ink spot in this month's kit. For the card design, I decided to add Balmy Blue, Pale Papaya and Mint Macaron Classic inks to go with the Flirty Flamingo and I used both White and Silver embossing powders to step up my designs. For the Christmas card, I stamped the presents with Mint Macaron, Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue and Pale Papaya Classic inks along the left side of the Basic White cardstock layer and heat embossed the ribbon image twice with Silver embossing powder. I also heat embossed the sentiment and embellished the card with Basic Rhinestone Jewels. For the inside of the card, I stamped the presents along the left side with Balmy Blue and Pale Papaya Classic inks and stamped the ribbon and sentiment with Flirty Flamingo Classic ink to complete the design.
For the Christmas Tag, I heat embossed the sentiment with White embossing powder using the sentiment and snowflakes image for the front and the To/From image for the back of the tag. I tied a piece of the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon through the hole to decorate the tag. I love the simplicity of the design and the way the embossing steps up the tag.

Ink. Stamp. Share. November Monthly Blog Hop Christmas Tree Decorations

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. November Blog Hop as we share project ideas for Christmas Tree decorations. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you for the holiday season.
One of my favorite bundles in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog is the Penguin Place Bundle. This cute stamp set and coordinating punch are so versatile and I wanted to show how you could create a fun ornament to hang on the tree using this bundle. I paired it with one of the Wonderful Snowflakes. The Layering Circles Dies are perfect for creating the base of the ornament and I used one of the small tags from the Tailor Made Tags Dies to attach the Silver Trim to hang the ornament on the tree.
Products Used:
Penguin Place Bundle (item #156789)
Layering Circles Dies (item #151770)
Tailor Made Tags Dies (item #155563)
Playful Alphabet Dies (item #152706)
Wintry 3D Embossing Folders (item #155433)
Misty Moonlight Cardstock (item #153081)
Balmy Blue Cardstock (item #146982)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Basic Black Cardstock (item #121045)
Mango Melody Cardstock (item #146989)
2020-2022 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #155230)
Balmy Blue Classic Ink Pad (item #147105)
Mango Melody Classic Ink Pad (item #147093)
Memento Tuxedo Black Pad (item #132708)
Wonderful Snowflakes (item #156340)
Simply Elegant Trim (item #155766)
Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (item #144108)
Measurements:
Misty Moonlight Cardstock
Large Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Large Scallop Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
Penguin face/body punched out with the Penguin Builder Punch
Hat & Scarf stamped with the images from the Penguin Place stamp set and fussy cut
Basic Black Cardstock
Penguin Body punched out with the Penguin Builder Punch
Mango Melody Cardstock
2 feet punched out with the Penguin Builder Punch
Balmy Blue Cardstock
Small Tag die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Dies
2021 die cut with the Playful Alphabet Dies
Misty Moonlight Designer Series Paper
Large Circle die cut with the Layering Circles Dies
This cute little ornament is easy to assemble and so much fun. I attached the Misty Moonlight Designer Series Paper Circle to the front of the Basic White Scalloped Circle and attached the Wonderful Snowflake to the center of the designer series paper adhesive. I punched out the pieces for the penguin and stamped the eyes onto the Basic White piece with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped the beak with Mango Melody Classic ink. I attached the Basic White piece onto the Basic Black body and added the feet with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to the bottom of the penguin. I attached the scarf and hat to the penguin and added the penguin to the center of the snowflake with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
On the reverse side of the Basic White Scallop Circle, I attached the Balmy Blue tag to the top of the circle so that the end with the hole is above the top of the penguin. I embossed the Misty Moonlight cardstock circle with the snowflake embossing folder from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders and attached it to the back of the Basic White Scallop circle so that it covers the bottom part of the tag. Add the 2021 die cut with the Playful Alphabet Dies, to the Misty Moonlight Circle, towards the center. To complete the ornament, tie a loop through the hole in the tag with a piece of the Silver Trim to create the hanger for the ornament.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my Christmas decoration will help inspire you to create your own wonderful projects to help you get festive for the holidays. The Penguin Place Bundle has been so popular that it has been hard to keep stock. If you love this bundle as much as I do, I recommend that you order it as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Stamping With Friends November Showcase Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends November Showcase Blog Hop as we share what projects we are currently working on to inspire you. You will be visiting with our Design Team Members as they share their wonderful projects and ideas to help spark your creativity.
Today I thought I would share a clean and simple card design created with products from the Harvest Meadow Suite in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. At this time of the year, we are often busy and trying to create cards for friends and family can be a challenge. I love that this card design is simple to create but has a simply Wow factor that makes it special. I chose to use the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper for the background and used the images from the Nature's Harvest stamp set to create the focal image and sentiment. The coordinating Harvest Dies has the perfect size die to create the sentiment label and I used the Layering Circles Dies for the focal design.
Products Used:
Nature's Harvest Bundle (item #156813)
Layering Circles Dies (item #151770)
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (item #156494)
Crumb Cake Cardstock (item #120953)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Crumb Cake Classic Ink Pad (item #147116)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Basics Embossing Powder (item #155554)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Crumb Cake Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Medium Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with Harvest Dies
This design would be great for creating multiple cards to add to your stash. Thank You cards are one the most common cards that we send out and using designer series paper for the background is a wonderful way to create beautiful cards quickly. I love heat embossing, so I embossed the floral image onto the Crumb Cake circle with White embossing powder. I love how it takes the design to the next level and the white embossing really pops against the Crumb Cake background. For the sentiment, I kept it simple by stamping the Thank You with Crumb Cake ink to create a reverse look to the focal image. I attached both the focal image and the sentiment to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop them up. For a touch of bling, I added some Basic Pearls to the card front to finish off the design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful cards to share with family and friends. There are so many wonderful products in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog to choose from to create wonderful projects.

Welcome to the New At SU November Blog Hop as we showcase projects celebrating the Holidays. Thanksgiving is coming up fast and Christmas is just over a month away, as well as all the other holidays in between, You will be visiting with our talented Design Team Members as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you.
As we get closer to Christmas, we are often looking for quick and easy ways to create fun Christmas cards to mail out to family and friends. When our time gets limited, clean and simple card designs are the best way to create a lot of cards in a short amount of time while still creating beautiful cards. For my card today, I chose the Be Jolly stamp set and paired it with the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set to create my card. I used a piece of the Tidings Of Christmas 6"x6" Designer Series Paper to create the background and colored my cute Santa image with Stampin' Blends Markers. The design is flat so it is easy to mail without worrying about extra postage.

Measurements:
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock

Layer 1 -5 1/4" x 4"
Large Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Tidings Of Christmas Designer Series Paper

This card design has a wonderful layout that is simple to duplicate to create multiple cards. With the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper, you can create a variety of card designs using the different patterns in this pack along with the variety of images and sentiments in both stamp sets. I decided not to add any embellishments to keep the design simple and to make sure that the were easy to mail. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the white areas on the Santa to add a touch of sparkle and I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold embossing powder to step up the design. Both the Layering Circles Dies and Stitched So Sweetly Dies are currently on sale during the Seasonal Sale, November 16-18, and they are a great addition to your crafting supplies.

Colour Combo November Blog Hop

Welcome to the Colour Combo November Blog Hop with this month's Color Challenge featuring So Saffron, Blackberry Bliss and Blushing Bride. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you to explore this month's color combination.
For my card design today, I am sharing a Sneak Peek of a new stamp set from the upcoming January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. The Blessings of Home stamp set has a combination of beautiful floral images and wonderful sentiments to create cards for all occasions. I decided to use a watercolor technique using a Blender Pen and Classic ink to color this beautiful image.
Products Used;
Blessings of Home stamp set (item #157930) Sneak Peek from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock (item #133675)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink Pad (item #147092)
So Saffron Classic Ink Pad (item #147109)
Blushing Bride Classic Ink Pad (item #147100)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Blender Pens (item #102845)
Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (item #141897)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Measurements:
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Strip - 1/2" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
This clean and simple card design features a couple of simple techniques. The first one is heat embossing an image with Classic ink. I inked up the floral image with Versamark and then inked it up with Blackberry Bliss Classic ink before stamping it onto the center of the Basic White cardstock. I then applied Clear embossing powder and tapped off the excess before heat embossing it. This gives the image a beautiful Blackberry Bliss embossed image that is perfect for watercoloring. The second technique I used with this card design, is watercoloring with Classic inks and a Blender Pen. I squeezed the closed ink pads so that some of the ink transferred to the inside of the lid. I then used this ink to apply color to the image with the Blender Pen. I layered the color to give the flowers depth and dimension. I used So Saffron Classic ink for the small flowers at the top of the image and for the centers of the flowers. I used Blackberry Bliss Classic ink to color the two larger flowers and the Blushing Bride Classic ink to color the medium size flowers. For the leaves, I used the Clear Wink of Stella to color them to give them a golden shimmer. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image onto the Blackberry Bliss cardstock strip  with Silver embossing powder and attached it across the bottom of the card front. For a touch of bling, I added small Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the sentiment strip and card front to complete the design. I love how soft and pretty this card looks and how these colors give the card a vintage feel.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore this wonderful color combination when creating your own projects. There are many ways to add color to your designs and great techniques to explore.
