Ink. Stamp. Share. April Floral Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. April Blog Hop and this month we have been challenged to create a project with a floral theme. Stampin' Up! has so many beautiful floral products, that it was hard to choose which one I would use for my card design today.
I decided to use my favorite Designer Series Paper from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog as my focal design. The Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper (item #146913) has so many beautiful photo realistic designs to choose from and I am sad that it is retiring. This beautiful paper is only available while supplies last, so if you love it as much as I do, I recommend that you order it before it sells out.
The card base was created using the Gold Foil Edged Cards & Envelopes to add a classic elegance to the card design. I attached a piece of the floral designer series paper to the card front with Snail Adhesive so that it lay flat against the card front.
To create the sentiment, I chose the All That You Are stamp set (item #148664) from the 2019 Occasions Catalog and used the Thank You sentiment. I stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock and heat embossed it with Gold embossing powder. I punched it out using the Pretty Label Punch (item #143715) and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
To embellish the card front, I die cut several of the small butterfly dies from the Butterfly Beauty Dies (item #148536) from Gold Foil and attached them to the card front. I added several small Basic Rhinestones to the butterflies and the sentiment label for a touch of bling to finish off the card design. This clean and simple card design is a beautiful example of how you can create wonderful card designs with a few coordinating supplies.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that you have enjoyed my card design and that it gives you ideas for your own projects using Stampin' Up!'s beautiful designer series paper and other amazing products. If you live in the U.S. and you do not already have a demonstrator, I would be happy to help you with your crafting needs.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop Sentimental Rose

Welcome to the April Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop and I am so excited to share with you all this amazing kit. The beautiful colors and images in this card kit are breathtaking and I just love the new Distinktive stamps that are available for the first time for us to create with. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! demonstrators as they share their wonderful alternative ideas for this kit to help you create projects "outside" the box.
Let me just start by saying this Paper Pumpkin kit is probably my favorite kit ever. I love the designs of the cards, the wonderful color combinations and the new Distinktive stamp set is simply amazing. So when it came to designing an alternative design, I was overwhelmed with possibilities.
So I decided to focus on designing a card that you could create after you had used up all the supplies in the kit and you were left with the beautiful Sentimental Rose stamp set. My color combination was selected from the list of colors that were used with the kit, to create a soft and pretty card that would be suitable if you chose any of the sentiments in the stamp set.
I chose to use Gray Granite cardstock for my card base and added a layer of Flirty Flamingo cardstock to frame the main panel. I stamped the floral image with Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock and added the leaves using Mint Macaron Classic ink around the edges. To create the watercolor background, I used Gray Granite Classic Ink and created a soft wash using an Aquapainter.
The sentiment was stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed using Gold embossing powder. I then punched out the sentiment using the Tailored Tag Punch (item #145667) and then added leaves that I heat embossed to embellish the tag. Before attaching the sentiment to the card front, I added a piece of Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (item #146912). I used Mini Dimensionals to attach the sentiment over the ribbon, towards the center of the panel. To finish off the card, I added Gold Metallic Pearls (item #146282) to the centers of the flowers and colored the leaves and flowers with Clear Wink of Stella to add a soft shimmer to the design.
I just love the soft, romantic feel of this card design and I look forward to creating more projects with this beautiful stamp set.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and I hope that my alternative project helps you to see that there is more to create with your Paper Pumpkin kit, even after you have completed the projects inside. If you live in the U.S. and do not already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have and help you with your Paper Pumpkin subscription.

SBTD April Birthday Cards Blog Hop

Welcome to the SBTD April Blog Hop as we explore creating Birthday cards as this month's theme. Everyone has a birthday and it is a wonderful feeling to get a card on your special day, but it's even better when it is a hand stamped card from someone you love. I hope that the cards we share today will help give you ideas to create your own beautiful birthday cards.
There is something about Silver and Gold that just makes a birthday card extra special. I chose to use the amazing Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper (item #146277) for the background of my card design. The small polka dots reminds me of confetti and works perfectly for all ages.
Believe it or not, this card has not stamping. The sentiment has been created using the Happy Birthday Thinlet die (item #143700) and die cut it from Gold Glimmer Paper (item #146958) to add a little extra sparkle to this special occasion card design.
To embellish the card, I used the smaller balloon from the Balloon Bouquet Punch (item #140609) and punched out a small balloon from Silver Foil and another from Basic Black cardstock. I used Silver & Whisper White Baker's Twine (item #145569) to create the strings for both balloons.
This is a very simple card design but the bling of the Gold and Silver really turns it into a Wow birthday card. I love that the Basic Black card base makes the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper layer pop. Using Designer Series Paper as the focal point of your design is a fun way to create clean and simple card with minimal supplies. Many of the supplies used in today's card design are retiring and are available while supplies last. If you would like to order any of these products, I would recommend ordering soon to avoid disappointment.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that you have enjoyed my card and I hope that it inspires you to create your own birthday cards for the people you love. If you live in the U.S. and do not already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to help you.

GSF Extra Ordinary Annual Catalog Carry Over Blog Hop

Welcome to the GSF Extra Ordinary Annual Catalog Blog Hop where we feature products that will be new or are carrying over to the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world as they share projects created with new projects that they received at the recent OnStage events as well as carry over products of favorites from the 2019 Occasions Catalog and 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. I hope that our projects will get you excited about this amazing new catalog when it launches June 4th, 2019.
Today I am showcasing the wonderful Piece of Cake bundle (item #150579) from the 2019 Occasions Catalog and I am so excited that both the stamp set and punch will be available for us to create with for another year. These products are so versatile and fun to use and work for a variety of occasions. Note that the bundle price will not be available in the new catalog, so if you want to take advantage of the 10% discount, make sure to order this bundle before June 3rd, 2019.
I chose to use Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party for my card design with a splash of Flirty Flamingo and Silver for a pop of color. I colored the Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon (item #144213) with the Flirty Flamingo Dark Stampin' Blends Marker and I colored the cake image with Light and Dark Pool Party and Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Markers to coordinate with the colors I chose for this card design. To add some texture to the strip of Bermuda Bay cardstock, I embossed it using the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder (item #146335).
I hope that you have enjoyed my card design today and that it inspires you to create your own projects with these products. I am so happy they will be available in the new catalog. If you live in the U.S. and do not already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to help you.
