Paper Pumpkin Possibilities July Blog Hop Sending Good Thoughts

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities July Blog Hop as we showcase the Sending Good Thoughts Kit. Our amazing Design Team members will be sharing their wonderful alternative projects to help inspire you to think outside the box.
One of my favorite things about this kit is the nautical theme, which is so perfect for masculine cards. I decided to create my alternative card design using just the exclusive stamp set from this month's kit. For this design, I chose to use Starry Sky designer series paper for the background and paired it with Soft Suede cardstock. I wanted to keep the design fairly simple, so I heat embossed the image and sentiment with Silver embossing powder to help step up the design and I added some Baker's Twine to add a little texture to the design.

Starry Sky Cardstock
Medium Circle die cut with the Layering Circles Dies
Sentiment Label die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies
Starry Sky Designer Series Paper

This clean and simple card design is a wonderful example of how you can use the exclusive stamp set to create projects once you have used up the other supplies in this kit. The images and sentiments are perfect for masculine cards as well as all occasion cards. The striped background of the Starry Sky Designer Series Paper adds wonderful texture to the card and helps make the focal image pop. I love the look of the Silver embossing for the ship and the sentiment on the Starry Sky cardstock and I felt it provided enough bling that there was no need for additional embellishments. The Baker's Twine fits in with the nautical theme of this card and just helps to finish off the design.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own alternative projects with this wonderful kit and combining it with your existing supplies. There are so many wonderful possibilities to explore.

Welcome to the ICS July Blog Hop as we celebrate the new Sale-a-brations catalog and all the amazing new products that you can earn for free with a qualifying order. Our wonderful Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you to get creative for the Summer.
It was so hard to choose which Sale-a-bration product I wanted to showcase. I finally decided to use one of the designs from the Gold & Silver 6"x6" Designer Series Paper to create the background for my card design. You can choose this beautiful paper pack for free during Sale-a-bration with a qualifying $50 order. One of the great things about this pretty paper is that you can color it in a variety of ways. For my card design, I decided to use Orchid Oasis and Tahitian Tide Classic inks with Blending Brushes to create this wonderful background.
Products Used:
Kindest Gnomes Bundle (item #159626)
Beautiful Shapes Dies (item #158046)
Starry Sky Cardstock (item #159263)
Orchid Oasis Cardstock (item #159267)

Measurements:
Orchid Oasis Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Starry Sky Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
Circle die cut with Beautiful Shapes Dies
Sentiment Label die cut with Beautiful Shapes Dies
Silver & Gold Designer Series Paper (Silver Polka Dot)
Card Front - 5" x 3 3/4"
For this card design, I used Blending Brushes to create the beautiful background. I started with Tahitian Tide Classic ink, starting in the center of the Silver Polka Dot piece of designer series paper, and worked my way out towards the edges. Then I blended Orchid Oasis Classic ink from the outside edges, especially at the corners, towards the middle. For my focal image, I stamped the cute little gnome onto Basic White cardstock and die cut it with the coordinating die. Using Stampin' Blends Markers, I colored in the image to coordinate with the background. I attached the gnome to the Starry Sky circle and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. for the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with Silver embossing powder onto Starry Sky cardstock and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. For a touch of bling, I added several small Basic Rhinestone Jewels to make it sparkle. I just love how the silver polka dots on the design series paper pop against the blended background and give the impression of falling snow. This card design would work well for a variety of occasions for the Winter months.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help you to get excited about the amazing new products in the Sale-a-bration Catalog. Whether you love stamp sets, designer series paper or even dies, there is something for everyone.

Stamping Inkspiration July Blog Hop Color Challenge

Welcome to the Stamping Inkspiration July Blog Hop and this month we are celebrating Christmas In July with a Color Challenge. We were given the choice of two different color palettes, one for warm wather and one for cold weather, and I decided to choose the cold weather color combination as shown below. It includes Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Sahara Sand and Early Espresso and we have been challenged to use at least three colors.
For my card design, I decided to focus on a more traditional color combination, so I chose to use Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler. I used the Merriest Moments stamp set and coordinating Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder from the new July-December 2022 Mini Catalog and I just love the detail in these stamp images and coordinating dies. The embossing folder creates such a beautiful background and adds wonderful texture to the design.
Products Used:
Merriest Moments stamp set (item #156353)
Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder (item #156385)
Seasonal Labels Dies (item #156299)
Evening Evergreen Cardstock (item #155574)
Soft Succulent Cardstock (item #155776)
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (item #119685)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Evening Evergreen Classic Ink Pad (item #155576)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Evening Evergreen Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Label die cut with the Seasonal Labels Dies
Soft Succulent Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4" embossed with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
Poinsettia flowers heat embossed and die cut
Basic White Cardstock
Stamped and die cut leaves
This traditional Christmas card design was so much fun to create and really helped me get into the spirit of Christmas in July. The combination of Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler are perfect for creating traditional Christmas designs and the Silver embossing and pearls help step it up to the next level. For the poinsettias, I heat embossed the stamped images with Clear embossing powder and layered them using a Stampin' Dimensional to add dimension to the flowers. The leaves have been stamped with Evening Evergreen Classic ink to create the foliage in the background.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful projects with this color challenge. There are so many wonderful options to explore, whether you choose traditional like I did or something more modern and fun.

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Strip Card Challenge Blog Hop as we share our projects and ideas to help inspire you to use up the left-over strips you have in your stash. Or Design Team members will be sharing some fun techniques and tricks to help spark your creativity to create your own fun card designs.
Today I decided to create a fun birthday card using the new Hippest Hippos stamp set, which you can earn Free with a qualifying $50 order during Sale-a-bration. In addition, I also used the coordinating Hippo Dies, which are also a free Sale-a-bration product you can earn free with a qualifying $50 order. I love how they provide so many wonderful options for creating fun designs. For my strip background, I used Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper from the 2022-2024 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper Pack and stamped the white strips with the stars image from the Best Witches stamp set, which can found in the new July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. This color combination is perfect for the 4th of July holiday and has a wonderful Summer feel to it.

Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched Rectangles Dies
Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
Layer 1- 5 1/4" x 4"
Party Hat and sunglasses die cut with the Hippo Dies

Layer 2 - 5" x 3 3/4" (trimmed down to size after adhering strips)
Two strips - 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Stamped hippo image die cut with Hippo Dies
2022-2024 In Colors Designer Series Paper
Starry Sky 2 strips - 3/4" x 3 1/2"

This bright, cheerful birthday card was so much fun to create. The combination of Starry Sky, Sweet Sorbet and Basic White works well for a patriotic themed card and works well for people of all ages. To liven up the Basic White strips, I stamped them with the stars image from the Best Witches stamp set in both Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet Classic inks to tie in with the celebration theme. The cute hippo image has been colored with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends Markers and I used the Light Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Marker to color the toenails and mouth. I die cut the party hat and sunglasses from Sweet Sorbet cardstock and I heat embossed the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set with White embossing powder to coordinate with the color theme. To add a touch of bling, I added several Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the sentiment label for a little sparkle.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to look at strips in a whole new way to help you create your own wonderful designs. There are so many great options to explore.

Welcome to the We Create July Blog Hop and I am so excited to share with you some of the amazing new products from the July-August Sale-a-bration Catalog. I love that Stampin' Up! gives us two opportunities to earn exclusive Free products to help us celebrate a new mini catalog. I hope our projects will help inspire you to get creative.
Today I have chosen to create a masculine card design with the new Sale-a-bration stamp set, Stylish Sketches, which you can earn free with a qualifying $50 order. I paired it with the new Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder from the new July-December 2022 Mini Catalog, which adds wonderful texture to the background. I added some Gold embossing to the background, adding it to some of the embossed leaves as well as the small background stamp image.
Products Used:
Stylish Sketches stamp set (item #159937) Sale-a-bration Product
Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set (item #154368)
Scalloped Contours Dies (item #155560)
Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder (item #159847) New
Soft Suede Cardstock (item #115318)
Cajun Craze Cardstock (item #119684)
Very Vanilla Cardstock (item #101650)
Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad (item #119686)

Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154879)
Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155519)
Old Olive Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154892)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Soft Suede Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Strip - 1/2" x 3"
Scalloped Rectangle die cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies
Cajun Craze Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Very Vanilla Cardstock
2 1/16" x 3 3/8"
This clean and simple card design is easy to create and I love how the embossing adds texture and dimension to the design. The gold embossing adds a slightly distressed, almost grunge look to the cardstock and helps highlight the raised areas of some of the embossed leaves. I stamped the fox image with Early Espresso Classic ink and colored the image using the Cajun Craze Light and Dark Stampin' Blends Markers along with the Light Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends Marker. For the ground I used the Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set with Gold embossing powder onto a 1/2" strip of Soft Suede cardstock and trimmed it to size. This color scheme has a wonderful Fall feel to it and works well for masculine cards. I can't wait to explore using the other beautiful images in the Stylish Sketches stamp set.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore the wonderful new products you can earn free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration. There are so many great options to choose from.
