Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge Week 22 - Mossy Meadow

Let's celebrate the end of May with Week 22 of the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge. This week we are showcasing Mossy Meadow from the Neutrals Collection and I am excited to share with you what I have created using some of the new products from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.
For my card design this week, I chose to create a masculine birthday card using the Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper and coordinating Adventurous Sky stamp set from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. I also chose to use the new Basic Beige as my neutral for this card design and I love how well it works with Mossy Meadow. This card requires minimal stamping and I love how the different patterns from this designer series paper work together to create this beautiful design.
Products Used:
Adventurous Sky stamp set (item #163439)
Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper (item #163436)
Mossy Meadow Cardstock (item #133676)
Basic Beige Cardstock (item #164511)
Mossy Meadow Classic Ink Pad (item #147111)
Basic Beige Classic Ink Pad (item #163806)
Basic Beige 3/8" Bordered Ribbon (item #163788)
Iridescent Foil Gems (item #162842)
Blending Brushes (item #153611)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Mossy Meadow Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Focal Matte Layer - 3 1/8" x 4 1/8"
Basic Beige Cardstock
Layer 1 - 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Sentiment Strip - 1/2" x 2 1/4"
Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper
Background Layer - 3 3/4" x 5"
Focal Layer - 3" x 4"
I love the variety of designs in the Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper and how they coordinate to help create wonderful projects. For this card design, I chose to use one of the images from the collage style sheet and paired it with one of the larger background designs, both featuring Mossy Meadow as the focal color. To help make the background layer pop, I used a layer of Basic Beige cardstock to create a small border to help it stand out against the Mossy Meadow card base. To help tone down the Basic White map pattern on the designer series paper background, I gently sponged over it with Basic Beige Classic ink using a Blending Brush so that it coordinates with the matte layer. For the focal layer, I created a matte layer using Mossy Meadow cardstock to create a slim border. I added a piece of Basic Beige Bordered Ribbon around the center of the background layer and adhered the focal layer over the top, making sure to center it. I added the background layer to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. For the sentiment, I stamped the image from the Adventurous Sky stamp set using Mossy Meadow Classic ink and I created a banner on the right side of the sentiment label before attaching it to the focal layer. To complete the card, I added several Iridescent Foil Gems to the background layer to step up the design. I love how the designer series paper adds wonderful texture and detail to this card design and showcases how well Mossy Meadow works for creating masculine designs.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities May Blog Hop The Best There Is

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities May Blog Hop as we showcase The Best There Is Kit. Our wonderful Design Team will be sharing their alternative projects and ideas to help you think outside the box and spark your creativity. This beautiful masculine themed kit is perfect for the men in your life.
When I create masculine card designs, I like to keep them clean and simple. For me, the simplicity of the design should be enough without a lot of frills and layers. So for this alternative card design, I thought I would share a fun tip to transform the sentiment layer to coordinate with the card base from the kit. As you can see, it doesn't look like the Basic White label this is in the kit, but with a little ink and a Blending Brush, it's amazing how quickly you can transform the label color to whatever you want to create your own unique card design.
Products Used:
Paper Pumpkin May Kit The Best There Is
Basic Beige Classic Stamp Pad (item #163806)
Early Espresso Classic Stamp Pad (item #147114)
Blending Brushes (item #153611)
Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins (item #161627)
Measurements:
Card Base (From the Kit)
5 1/2" x 4 1/4" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Label (From the Kit
The secret to the this clean and simple masculine card is the sentiment label. I wanted to change the Basic White label to be the same color as the detailed border on the front of the card base. To do this, I used a Blending Brush and applied a layer of Basic Beige Classic ink over the entire label to create a smooth even background color. Next, I stamped the trees image from the exclusive stamp set using the Basic Beige Classic ink to create a tone on tone design. It is actually very soft so it's more of a texture than the actual detailed trees that is visible and that was what I was looking for. It has an almost grunge feel to it. Next, I stamped the sentiment (also from the exclusive stamp set) using Early Espresso Classic ink onto the center of the sentiment label. I then added the sentiment to the center of the card front, lining it up inside the detailed border design, using Stampin' Dimensionals from the kit. To complete the design, I added several of the dark brown sequins from the Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins to step up the design without being over the top. I just love the simplicity of this card design and how a little ink can help to transform the look and feel of this card design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to try creating your own beautiful alternative projects with this amazing kit. Don't be afraid to experiment with different colors of ink to add color and texture to your designs.

Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge Week 21 - Berry Burst

Welcome back for Week 21 of the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge and this week we are showcasing Berry Burst from the Brights Collection. This bold pink is so much fun and I chose to use the different patterns in this color from the Brights 6"x6" Designer Series Paper to create this fun card design.
Designer Series Paper is one of the best ways to create clean and simple card designs. Each of the designs has different shades and textures which help to step up the background and the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch is perfect for creating a quilt style design. I love the range of sentiments in the coordinating Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set and how easy it is to punch them out. This card layout can be replicated using your choice of colors and designer series paper patterns to come up with your own unique card designs.
Products Used:
Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set (item #162882)
Heartfelt Hexagon Punch (item #162888)
Brights 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #163775)
Berry Burst Cardstock (item #144243)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Berry Burst Classic Ink Pad (item #147143)
Tinsel Gems Four Pack (item #161623)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Berry Burst Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Basic White Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
Card Front - 5" x 3 3/4"
Sentiment Label punched out with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch
Berry Burst Designer Series Paper
8 pieces punched out with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch
This clean and simple card design is a fun way to use showcase your pretty designer series paper and a great way to use up scraps from your stash. I chose to use all four of the patterns in the Brights 6"x6" Designer Series Paper pack featuring Berry Burst to create the background design. For the sentiment, I stamped the main image with Berry Burst Classic ink and then lined up the border image around the outside before stamping. I then punched it out with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch and adhered it towards the center of the Basic White card front. This is the piece that I use to help me arrange the different designer series paper pieces to create my design. I have left a small gap between each piece to create a border and I trimmed off the edges flush with the card front to complete the card front. When arranging the designer series paper pieces, I just made sure that I didn't have the same pattern touching each other and tried to combine the lighter and darker patterns to create some balance. I attached the card front to the Basic White cardstock layer and then attached it to the Berry Burst card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. To finish off the design, I added two of the Berry Burst Tinsel Gems to the sentiment label to add a touch of bling.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore using designer series paper and punches to create your own fun designs. There are so many wonderful options to explore.

Stamptastic Friends May Blog Hop Masculine

It's time to hop along with the Stamptastic Friends May Blog Hop as we showcase Masculine themed projects to help inspire you. Our wonderful Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas to help spark your creativity. Masculine projects can be challenging and I hope that we will be able to provide you with ideas to help you create your own beautiful projects for the guys in your life.
For my card design, I decided to use products from the new Take To The Sky Suite Collection in the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. I chose to use the Adventurous Sky Bundle with the coordinating Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper to create a clean and simple masculine birthday card. I chose to use one of the designs from the designer series paper as the background and focal image of my card design. To help step up the design, I heat embossed the sentiment with Silver embossing powder onto a strip of Night of Navy cardstock and added the stamped and die cut image of the small plane as an accent to the design. I love vintage planes and I felt like the Smoky Slate/Night of Navy color combination was perfect for this style of card.
Products Used:
Adventurous Sky Bundle (item #163447)
Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper (item #163436)
Night of Navy Cardstock (item #100867)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Smoky Slate Classic Ink Pad (item #147113)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Wow Embossing Powders (item #165678)
Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins (item #161627)
Measurements:
Night of Navy Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Strip - 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Basic White Cardstock
Plane image stamped and die cut with the Adventurous Sky Bundle
Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
It's always fun playing with new products and I was excited to explore new possibilities with this new suite. One of the sheets of designer series paper is made up of a series of smaller images or sections and I was drawn to the larger Smoky Slate vintage plane for my background. I trimmed it to 5 1/4" x 4" for my card front and attached it to my Night of Navy card base, which really helps make the background design pop. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with Silver Embossing Powder towards the left side and attached the strip to the card front, about a 1/4" from the bottom. I stamped the smaller plane with Smoky Slate Classic ink onto Basic White cardstock and die cut it out with the coordinating die. I then attached the die cut to the right side of the sentiment strip. To complete the card design, I added two small Silver Sequins to coordinate with the Silver embossing. I love how this card came together and I think this is a classic masculine design that would work for a variety of occasions.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful projects for the men in your life. There are so many wonderful options to explore in the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. The Take To The Sky Suite Collection has so many possibilities for creating beautiful masculine designs.

Our Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you to explore using these beautiful new colors in your projects. There are so many options to choose from and I can't wait to share my card design with you.
Today's card is a fun birthday design using the Playing in the Rain stamp set and coordinating Playing In The Rain Dies using Shy Shamrock, Summer Splash, Peach Pie and a touch of Pretty In Pink. I love experimenting with different color combinations and I think these colors work really well together. This cute card design would work well for people of all ages and is a great way to celebrate someone's special day.

Large Circle die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Medium Circle die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies
Turtle stamped and die cut with the Playing In the Rain Dies
Sentiment Label die cut with the Everday Details Dies
This card design is so cute and I thought that the combination of Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash would be perfect to color my cute little turtle. I used Stampin' Blends Markers to color the turtle using Shy Shamrock, Summer Splash, Peach Pie and a couch of Pretty In Pink for the flower. I die cut the image out and attached it to the Basic White circle with Stampin' Dimensionals and then layered it onto the Peach Pie Circle. For the sentiment, I stamped the image from the Saying Hey stamp set using Shy Shamrock Classic ink onto the Basic White sentiment label. I wanted to keep the design very simple, so I chose to use two of the small Petal Pink Dots from the Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots to embellish the sentiment label. I love how this card design turned out and how beautifully these colors worked together.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.
